This is a Spencer & Toby one shot based on the S7 finale, after Toby rescued Spencer we find out they're back together but we never saw it happen so here's my version of the events.

It all happened so fast one minute Spencer was fighting for her life next minute Toby was holding Alex Drake like a criminal and looking at Spencer with love, she knew he was still in love with her, he even remembered her poems in French and that was enough to know her the real Spencer Hastings.

After her evil twin was taken away she ran into his arms and they held each other tightly and after a few minutes Toby spoke 'Spence I'm sorry I should've thought something was odd' he said thinking about how Spencer would never kiss him when he's engaged to someone or when he's still grieving for his wife.

'it's fine honestly I'm just glad your here now and I want to get out of here' Spencer replied looking around her, her friends also looked guilty and felt upset because they didn't think anything was different.

Later that evening Spencer sat in her barn wondering if she should've told Toby that she loved him but she knew he wouldn't want her back, just then she heard a knock at the door she thought it might be one of the girls but it was Toby.

'hey Toby are you ok?' She asked letting him in

'I've been thinking about today and how I almost lost you' he said looking at her, he knew this was his last chance to tell her how he felt.

'Spencer I've been in love with you for a while now and I didn't come back for the wedding I came back because I love you'

after that little speech from Toby she ran up to him and kissed his lips she never thought she would have him back and now here he is confessing his love.

'I feel the same Toby I never thought you'd love me again' she replied with tears in here eyes.

'How could I not you were big part of my life, my first love I could never stop loving you and I don't want to lose you again'

Toby replied they then shared a kiss and hugged promising to never let each other go and be together forever.
