Sorry for not updating in forever. Busy life, but I'm done with school and work has been slow enough that I can actually update some of these! Also start a new one… I spread myself too thin sometimes… But I hope you enjoy, and again sorry for the great lapse in update time!

Kairi drove down the highway casually. Sora decided we should go downtown for the night. Get something to eat, walk around a bit, maybe even drink a little. Anything to get his mind off earlier today and Riku blowing up his phone with texts almost every minute. He was tempted to reply, but knew he was strong enough to not text back. Soon he would be able to forget about his day and get on with the night.

Kairi parked her car on the side of the street once we arrived downtown. They got out of the car and she locked her doors. "There sure are a lot of people out tonight," she commented while she walked up to the sidewalk she parked next to.

"What did you expect? It's a Saturday night and it feels great outside!" Sora replied. He didn't mind the crowd of people tonight. Just more people to party with.

"So food first? I'm starving!" Kairi asked as they started walking toward the cross walk.

"Sounds good to me. How does the diner sound?" Sora questioned.

"Sounds good to me! Let's get going! I hope there is a booth open!" she exclaimed as she began quickening her pace.

"We can just ask Cid for a table," Sora replied as he began to pick up the pace to not be left behind. That was one of the perks of being friends with the owner of a thriving diner. They could get a table anytime they wanted. Of course, Cid had to honor the other guests who have been waiting, but he tries to get us in faster than he does the other patrons.

"That's true! The diner is this way right?" Kairi asked pointing to the left of the crosswalk. I nodded and we continued to walk as soon as we got the okay from the signal across the street. The diner was only a few blocks away from where Kari had parked the car, so they wouldn't have to wait too long to eat.

Sora felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and could only guess who it was texting him again. He sighed and looked at his phone to see it was Cloud. He was glad it was someone who wasn't Riku for once. He opened the text and read it to himself, Hey are you downtown? He quickly typed that he was and asked why. He waited a few seconds until his phone vibrated again and saw Cloud had replied. We are too! It's me, Tifa, and Roxas. Could we hang? "Hey Cloud, Tifa, and Roxas are here too. They want to know if they can come along. That fine with you?" Sora asked Kairi.

"That's fine with me. Hope we can get a big enough table!" Kairi replied with a laugh. Soar typed in his phone to meet them in the diner since they were going to eat. A few seconds later, Cloud replied with and okay.

The two made it the rest of the way to the diner and they opened the door to see it was as busy as ever. Cid was finishing taking someone's order at the counter and saw them enter. "Hey guys! How's it hanging?" Cid shouted at them with a wave, "What can I do ya for?"

"A booth for five?" Kairi replied.

"Can do!" Cid shouted and pointed to a booth in the center that was open. Sora waved at him as thanks and the two walked over to the table. They sat down in the seats that circled around the table like a "c". Cid stopped to the table as he was making his rounds around to a few table and asked, "What are you guys up to tonight?"

"Just out tonight for the hell of it. We are waiting for Cloud, Tifa, and Roxas," Sora replied with a smile. Cid could always bring some light to the room even if it was pitch black. He was just the type of guy who could make a bad situation better somehow.

"Sounds great! Well what can I start you out with?" Cid asked.

"The usual would be great!" Kairi answered. Cid nodded and wrote down on his paper quickly.

"Drinks?" he asked.

"Just some soda for now. Don't want to pregame too hard yet! The night's just started!" Sora answered with a chuckle.

"Sounds good. They'll be out in a few," Cid said as he began to walk to the kitchen to give the order to the cook.

A few minutes passed before Cloud and the others walked through the door. Kairi noticed them walk through the door while she was talking to Sora and waved them down. The walked over to the booth and sat down.

"Hey guys! How's it going?" Roxas said enthusiastically.

"Pretty good so far. What are you guys out doing?" Sora asked.

"Just looking for some parties to hit up. What about you two?" Tifa replied.

"We just needed to go out. Get our minds off some shit," Kairi answered.

"What kind of shit? By the way, Sora, how did last night go with Riku?" Cloud asked. Sora groaned and frowned.

"He's the kind of shit," Sora replied with a sigh, "Just him being an ass today. This was our way of getting my mind off it. So don't mention the dick."

"Okay then," Cloud responded. Cid walked out with a tray in his hands. He carried out five sodas, a large basket of fries, and a couple plastic cups of ketchup. He set the food and drinks down in front of everyone.

"How did you know we were here?" Roxas asked.

"Saw you guys come in. You don't think I wouldn't see my favorite customers?" Cid replied once he finished setting the things down on the table.

"Guess not! Thanks for the food though!" Roxas answered while grabbing a handful of fries from the basket.

"Hey don't hog them all Roxas! I'm hungry too!" Kairi exclaimed as she took some fries too. The others laughed at them both and Cid walked away to help a few other people. They all just sat around talking and eat for about an hour before they all got up and left some money on the table for the bill and tip.

"Have a good night kids!" Cid shouted as they left the diner. They waved at him and walked out onto the sidewalk.

"Where to?" Sora asked.

"Well we were going to hit up Siefer's. He was having a pretty sick party tonight," Cloud answered, "Sound good to you guys?"

"Sure!" Sora replied. Siefer's house was just a few blocks away so they would have to go too far to get there. They began walking down the street and began talking about whatever came to mind.

As they were walking, Sora's phone began to vibrate again and he checked it. This time it was Riku. He rolled his eyes, and put his phone back into his pocket after he ignored the text. It was getting really old having him text him so much. Sora didn't understand what his deal was. He was flirting with him last night, was an ass today, and now he was trying to apologize. Why the hell was he even trying so hard if he said he didn't like him? Sora was just getting more and more angry as he was thinking about Riku, so he just put him out of his head and began talking with the others again.

They turned the corner of the street and saw Siefer's house crawling with people, all plastered. They walked the rest of the way and walked inside the house. They saw Siefer standing around, drunk, talking to some other people. Siefer saw the five and said, "Hey! What are you doing here?"

"You invited us remember?" Tifa replied with a laugh.

"I did? Right, right. Well have a few beers and enjoy the party!" Siefer shouted. The five all walked into the kitchen and saw a couple cases of beer on the table, bottles of vodka, and a lot of soda. They all grabbed a cup from the counter and pour some soda into them and filled the rest of the way with vodka. They all walked out of the kitchen and started to join in the party.

Sora was having a blast. He was buzzed, dancing, and with his friends. He was happy to forget about Riku. He was having no problem with that too. That is until he looked across the room and saw Riku talking with some people. Riku noticed Sora at that moment too and started to walk over to him. Fuck.
