INT. SAM'S lab Hell Gate
Sam paces back and forth, a worried expression on his face. He senses a shift in power at U.N.I.T, and it deeply concerns him, especially considering his ties to Hell's Gate. As he reaches for his phone to set up a meeting with Kate, he notices all of his accounts have been taken offline. Frustration washes over him.
SAM
(under his breath)
What the hell? My accounts are all offline? How am I supposed to set up that meeting with Kate now?
Just then, an email notification pops up on his laptop screen. Sam opens it and reads the email, his anger growing with each word.
SAM
(angry)
They terminated my contract? Because of recent affairs and my adoption of being Navi? This is outrageous!
Sam clenches his fists, weighing his options. He knows protesting might not be the wisest choice. Instead, he decides to be cautious and observant of what's happening around him. Just as he contemplates his next move, his phone buzzes, indicating a new text message. It's from Kate, his old boss.
TEXT MESSAGE - KATE
Destroy your phone. They're watching and tracking your every move.
Sam's eyes widen in realization. He looks around the room, noticing his younger brother Lo'ak Tuk Kiri Neytiri and Jake engaged in a conversation.
Sam takes a deep breath, realizing the gravity of the situation. He smashes his phone on the coffee table, destroying it completely.
SAM
(to himself)
That's the end of that.
Lo'ak, Sam's concerned brother, watches him with a worried expression. He senses something is amiss with Sam but decides not to press him for answers just yet. He silently resolves to ask him about it once they are back home with the clan.
LO'AK
(softly, to himself)
Something is definitely up with Sam. I'll wait until we're home to find out what's going on.
The room falls into an uneasy silence as the siblings exchange concerned glances, uncertain of what lies ahead.
