Hey guys! Been having a bit of writers block but this just suddenly came to me today and I decided to get it typed up as soon as i could. I hope you guys like it.

JJ was still awake at 2am, her mind still racing with thoughts. She jumped slightly when she heard the ringing of her cell phone blast through the room.

"Jareau." JJ said firmly knowing who it was.

"Jareau, I need your help." The man said urgently.

"What is it sir?" JJ asked already grabbing the equipment she was almost certain she needed.

"Slovak escaped an hour ago." The man said in a desperate voice and JJ couldn't help the small gasp that escaped her. "We've had agents working for an hour trying to locate him but we've come up with nothing. You're the only option left Jareau."

"No problem, sir. Already heading out." JJ said calmly but her adrenaline was pumping as she locked the door to her hotel room.

"I'll send you the Intel we managed to gather within the last hour but it's not a lot. We only managed to get halfway through cracking the location code of the weapons before he escaped. He'll most likely be there but we won't be able to figure it out in time." The man said disappointedly. He knew that if anyone could find him it would be Jareau but he was even starting to doubt that she could, considering how little information they had on his whereabouts. "If you find him, shoot to kill Jareau." the man finished with certainty.

"Yes, sir. Jareau, out." She didn't have time to wait for his reply before she hung up. She was too focused on her assignment. She scrolled through her tablet looking at the Intel as she rounded the corner of a street into an alleyway careful of watching eyes.

She saw the code just over halfway solved and realised she could probably solve the rest herself. She was extremely good at cracking codes if they had been started off. After 10 minutes of rapid thinking and typing on the tablet she came up with a set of co-ordinates which she typed into the GPS in hopes of giving her an accurate location.

She found an abandoned car further down the alley and managed to get it started. She drove off to the destination that the co-ordinates provided which was 20 minutes away, which was closer than she thought it would be.

As she got closer the her destination she saw a small abandoned airstrip with grass surrounding it. She parked further away as to not arouse suspicion. She tucked a gun in the back of her trousers and in her ankle holster with another fully loaded in her hand. She crept around the fence which enclosed the airstrip but was careful not to be visible through the gaps. She could hear the rumbling of an engine and knew that this was where Slovak was. As she rounded a corner she found a fairly large gap in the fence.

She looked through quickly to see Slovaks position. He had his back turned to her and was loading the plane with duffel bags and suitcases. She crept through the gap as stealthily and silently, keeping an eye on Slovak the whole time. She made her way towards him to get a better shooting distance, crouching slightly with her gun raised. She reached an appropriate distance to take the shot when her foot scuffed on an area of raised concrete alerting Slovak to her presence.

She reacted quickly by firing a shot to the middle of his forehead but not before he could take a shot in JJ's direction before hitting the ground.

JJ fell backwards hitting the concrete with a thud clutching her left shoulder. She cried out and gritted her teeth in pain. Realising she had been shot in the shoulder she began to panic slightly before realising the bullet was a through and through and sighing in relief.

Suddenly remembering what had just transpired, she looked up to see Slovaks body lying still on the ground. She crawled over to his body to make sure he was dead before collapsing fully onto the ground putting as much pressure she could manage on her wound. Her breathing was laboured and heavy as she reached for the phone in her pocket and dialled a familiar number.

"Jareau? Update?" the man asked getting straight to business.

"A-assignment comple-" JJ wheezed out.

"Jareau, what's going on?" the man asked his voice getting higher slightly with concern.

"Sh-shot. F-f-fine." JJ mumbled as her vision got blurry before seeing complete darkness.

Please review, it would be much appreciated!
