Time to Go

I took Isaac home like I had be ordered to do. If I hadn't learned a long time ago to tell if anything Brady ever said was I lie, I wouldn't have believed that it was an order. I almost never get orders that are alpha orders. I of course get orders that are Dad orders, but I could tell by the way Brady said it that these are alpha orders. The whole way to Isaac's house and back to our house Brady fallowed me as close as possible. He stayed in wolf from and was only far enough into the trees so that a human couldn't see him.

When I got home my Dad was out on the front porch. He was pacing up and down it, Dad only paces when something big is bothering him. Usually when one of us is in trouble. I slowly made my way up to the steps, afraid that I am the one that is causing some type of trouble. Dad didn't even bother to look to say anything to me. Seth came up behind me from somewhere and placed his hand on my lower back using it to guide me into the house. Brady had disappeared to somewhere when I had entered the yard. Seth led me all the way into my room. As we walked through the house I could tell that my mom was no longer in the house like she had been when I left earlier. I also caught my grandfather Edward's scent, he must have come and got my Mom for something.

"Seth, what is going on?"

"We'll talk about it later, but right now you need to shower and change so that we leave."

He didn't say anything more, just left the room. Usually Seth is the one that tells me everything I want to know the first moment I ask questions. I went to the door to fallow him but I couldn't open the door. Apparently I wasn't the only one that had been given alpha orders. Sighing I turned around to go to the shower. It was then that I noticed that most of the things were missing from my room. The only clothes in the room other than the ones I have on are laying across the bed. I picked them up and headed to the bathroom. On the counter in my bathroom was a note from my mom.

Please do everything that Seth asks you to do. I promise that when the time is right you will know exactly what is going on. As you already probably know there is a set of clothes for you on the bed. There is another one on the counter next to your makeup bag in the backpack. After you get ready to leave please put everything in the backpack and bring it with you. There are also a few other things that you and Seth will need in the bag including some of Seth's clothes. Seth knows the first place you will be going but from there you will have to find the clues that the family has left you. They shouldn't be too difficult for my amazing tracker to find. I love you and will see you soon.

Alright so there is defiantly something very strange going on, but never once in my life have I ever questioned anything my family has ever told me. Whatever it is sounds dangerous, though I'm not sure what can be dangerous to a family of vampires and shape shifters. Well there might be something out there, I mean there are children of the moon and whatever a Kanima is. Isaac didn't answer my question as to what that was.

After I showered and got ready, I went back out into my room. My Dad was sitting on the bed so I went over to him.

"Daddy?"

He reached out wrapping his arms around me and gently pulled me into his lap.

"I'm sure you read the letter your Mom left for you. I know it is going to be hard for you because you are used to always knowing everything but you have to be patient this time."

"Where are Seth and I going?"

"I don't know for sure. The rest of the family set that up. I think only Carlisle, Edward and Bella know for sure. From what Edward told me they sent a different family member to each of the locations with the clues. I also know that you need one to know the rest."

"I know that I have no idea what is going on but something tells me that it is here that isn't safe."

"You are right about that."

"Then what about the part of the pack that is here?"

"You are young sweetheart but the rest of us have trained for many years to protect our family and people."

He handed me what looked like a fold up piece of old parchment paper.

"What is this?"

"That is the first clue that they wrote. Seth already knows the answer but there are other things in there that you will need. I wish that I had a little more time with you right now but you and Seth have to be leaving."

I cuddled into him close giving him a tight hug. He hugged me back and kissed my forehead. I got up and headed towards the door. Just before I touched the door knob I paused.

"Dad, what about Isaac?"

"Don't worry young wolf we will protect him. He is an imprint whether he wants to accept it at this point or not and we always protect out imprints."

"I'll try not to worry alpha."

I handed my phone to him as we both walked out the front door. Seth was leaning against my Ducati holding my leather jacket and helmet. The more steps I took closer to where Seth was waiting the more I could tell that my wolf thought leaving was wrong. That if my family and imprint are in danger I should be here to protect them. I had walked almost all the way over to Seth before I realized that the rest of my pack was standing a little ways behind him. I paused by Seth and set my bag down, I know Dad said we have to be leaving but I couldn't leave without saying good bye to them.

Leah was the first one that I went to. She kind of seemed like she didn't care that I was leaving but I know she does. I learned from my brothers that when she is like this she is just trying to hide her emotions. Collin was next to Leah, he gave me a big hug and told me to be careful. After Collin was Embry, who kind of has always reminded me of Uncle Emmett. Embry pulled me into him and smashed me against his rock hard abs and chest.

"Embry don't squish me to death."

"Sorry, Rye I'm just going to miss you while you are gone."

"I'm going to miss you too."

He picked me up spinning around in a circle and then set me down in front of Brady. Embry's arms and barely left me before I was wrapped tightly into Brady's arms. Unlike Leah I have always been shorter than the guys, Dad says I get that from my Mom. Brady pulled us so that I was hidden against him and his back was to the house and everyone else. Because of the way he was holding me I had to rest my head on his chest and look up to see him. When he spoke it was a quite as possible, and I could tell that even though he knew the others could hear he wanted to make it seem like everything he said was just for me to here.

"I wish more than anything that you didn't have to leave right now. If you could stay then I would know for sure that you were safe right here in my arms."

Even with as quietly as he was speaking I could hear his voice shake with each word. I made my response back to him just as quietly.

"I wish that I could stay as well."

"Bryanne, there is something I have to tell you. I might be too late in telling you this but I can't keep it from you any longer. I know that I have watched you grow up over the years but from the moment I first held you I fell in love with you. You may not be my imprint and I know I'm not yours but I love you and want to protect you as though you are. I love you Rye."

"I love you too Brady."

I could see the tears swell up in his eyes as he leaned in over me more and pressed his lips to mine. I could feel the warmth of his body temperature run threw me. It wasn't quite as warm as when Isaac touches me but it felt just as sweet and was still enough to make my head spin and butterflies bloom in my stomach. It was a moment I wanted to hold onto forever, but I knew I had to be leaving. After a few moments he pulled back a little and picked me up. He set me down on the back of the Ducati behind Seth. Then he gave me one more, quick kiss as he helped me put my jacket on and back pack. I knew that this time the pack seen the kiss for sure I could hear Collin and Embry making some sort of comments but I didn't pay attention to what they were. Brady whispered I love you in my ear and gave me a finally kiss as he handed me, my helmet.

I felt tears start to fall down my checks as Seth reached the highway. I leaned into him wrapping my arms around his waist a little tighter.
