New York, New York
Ruby Gillman and her super sea girl bestie, Chelsea of the Seas, have arrived in New York City after their first solo flight after their graduation at Oceanside High School back in their hometown of Oceanside, California a month prior. They were excited, because they always wanted to tour Manhattan one day. They were unaware they would be involved in a great sea mission. By nightfall, Ruby and Chelsea settled in at the Marriott Hotel in Lower Manhattan, when a breaking news story appeared on CNN. CNN stated a submersible named Titan diving down to the wreck of the ill-fated RMS TITANIC has been reported missing after failing to surface at its required time. The sub was carrying 5 passengers and crew during its expedition. Ruby and Chelsea decided to help out on the expedition/search and rescue. So the two teens jumped from the pier and entered the Atlantic Ocean. Chelsea transformed into a beautiful Mermaid, while Ruby transformed into a giant Kraken. After their transformations, the two teens began their journey out to the wreck of the TITANIC to help the Coast Guard on the rescue of the missing sub.

North Atlantic Ocean
Ruby and Chelsea have arrived at the site of the TITANIC disaster where they met up with the Coast Guard, and the research vessel, the MV Polar Prince. The Coast Guard was amazed that a Kraken and a Mermaid had arrived on scene to help in the Search and Rescue Operation. After their briefing, Ruby and Chelsea begin their journey 2 ½ miles below the surface of the North Atlantic, to search the area surrounding the wreck of the TITANIC. It took 2 hours to reach the wreck site 12,500 ft (2 ½ miles) below the surface of the North Atlantic Ocean. Thanks to Ruby's ability to glow in the dark, they were able to see the TITANIC for the first time. They were fascinated with the ruins of what was once the Greatest Ocean Liner of her time period. A haunting, but familiar tune titled Nearer, My God, to Thee echoed in their heads as they gazed upon where 1,496 people perished on April 15th, 1912, after the TITANIC collided with an iceberg on her maiden voyage and sank within 2 hours and 40 minutes. Only 712 survived the tragedy. Ruby and Chelsea took a moment of silence to honor the victims before resuming their search for the missing submersible. Shortly after beginning the search, they spotted a debris field 1,600 ft from the bow of the TITANIC. They were horrified seeing the debris came from the missing submersible, realizing the Titan had indeed imploded during its descent, killing all 5 people on board. Ruby and Chelsea retrieved the wreckage of the submersible, then raced to the surface with the grim news, and the debris recovered. News broke out about the tragedy in the North Atlantic Ocean, and how a Mermaid and a Kraken discovered and salvaged what was left of one of the most advanced submersibles out there. OceanGate, the tour company that owned the submersible, was devastated, and questions rose to how this unfolded. Ruby and Chelsea were given medals for their bravery, and recovery efforts. Both realized they were involved in a search and recovery effort, since there was a loss of life after all. They would still continue their seagoing adventures though, and wouldn't give up.
May the 1,496 victims of the RMS TITANIC and the 5 victims of the OceanGate Submersible Titan Rest in Peace
