A/N: Hey guys, not too sure about this chapter, so your opinions would be great.
JJ was walking along the street on the other side of the fence where the Conference Hall was situated. She stopped as soon as she saw the building over the fence and knew she was at the side of the Conference Hall.
James had given her everything she needed, a microphone under her shirt collar, a camera on her shirt button and two guns. She didn't have any knives, blades or an earpiece this time, they were trying to minimise the risk of her cover being blown. But, they needed the camera and microphone so the team knew what was going on.
JJ climbed the fence easily, she spotted the security camera on the side of the building and realised Hamba or Lafar may be watching. So she quickly lay down on her stomach, so she was hidden due to the plants and flowers. She stayed flat as she manoeuvred her way through the grounds.
She decided to move to the back of the building, knowing it would be more believable to Hamba and Lafar if she entered that way rather than the side.
As she reached the back of the building, she noticed a row of windows that were fairly high up and unable to be broken from the ground. JJ managed to balance her feet on some protruding bricks. She pulled her arm back, and pounded her fist through the window causing it to smash. JJ ignored the stinging sensation in her hand and the burning of her bullet wounds and climbed through, scraping her legs and arms a little in the process due to the shards of glass still attached to the window frame.
JJ leaned against the wall once she was inside trying to block out the pain, the medication she had taken 10 minutes ago hadn't kicked in yet.
"I'm in." JJ said gritting her teeth. "I'm going to go and find out what room they're in." JJ said tilting her head towards the mic.
JJ pulled her phone out of her pocket and called Hamba's number again.
"I'm in." she said simply, not even giving him the chance to speak.
"We're on the second floor, room 7. Just come straight in." Hamba said shortly, before hanging up.
"They're on the second floor, room 7." JJ said to the mic, it would give the team a better idea of the location if they had to enter the building.
JJ made her way through the building and up the stairs but she was careful, in case any of Hamba's men were walking around, she didn't know how many of them were in on this attack.
She paused outside of the door she was about to enter. She took a deep breath calming her nerves. 'You can do it, don't fuck this up.' JJ thought to herself. 'It's just another mission.' JJ assured herself before taking another breath and entering the room.
Everyone in the room turned to the door as soon as it opened and were shocked when a blonde woman walked in.
"Hamba, Lafar." JJ greeted, quickly noticing that none of Hamba's men were in the room, it was just the two of them.
"What the hell happened to you Jessica?" Hamba demanded to know as he took in her appearance and injuries.
"I told you I had been involved in some things since I escaped." JJ replied vaguely. Hamba just grunted in response and dropped the subject.
She then scanned the politicians in the room; they were all sitting down at the back of the room whilst The President was being held at the front of the room with Lafar's gun aimed at his head. 'That's probably how they are controlling all of these politicians, with threats to The President' JJ thought. JJ met The President's eyes and hoped to reassure him with her gaze.
"So what's the plan?" JJ asked casually as she walked towards Hamba. JJ pulled out her gun and directed it towards the politicians once she reached the front of the room. She saw the fear in their eyes grow as it confirmed that she was working with Hamba and Lafar. But, that was a good thing; she needed them to think that as to not create suspicion. The only one that would know she was there to help was The President.
"I'm trying to phone Sian now but she's not answering." Hamba stated.
JJ easily hid her reaction to her name. She scoffed loudly. "What do you want her for? She usually just fucks things up anyway." JJ said as she walked towards the group of politicians. Hamba just grumbled, half in agreement. "What's with these guys?" JJ said waving her gun towards the politicians.
"They're just collateral damage, we don't care about them. We just need this one here." Hamba said gesturing towards The President. "We'll get rid of them later." Hamba finished, not bothering to lower his voice, meaning the politicians could hear him.
JJ bit her lip a little before turning around and walking back towards Hamba. "What about him?" JJ said pointing to The President.
"I haven't planned that far ahead yet." Hamba grumbled.
JJ let out a laugh. "So you take The President hostage along with a hundred politicians and you don't have a plan." JJ said mocking him, she was trying to rile him up in hope he would lose focus.
"Just shut up, and be thankful you're here." He snapped, his eyes cold.
JJ stayed silent. Her brain was rapidly trying to form some sort of plan. She couldn't take out one of them without the other one trying to injure or kill The President. Lafar had his gun aimed at The President's head, and Hamba was holding one in his hand.
She was going to have to think of something and fast.
