A/N: Hey guys, sorry for the huge delay, had a lot of shit going on but I'm back! Also my other two stories, Finding Love Again and Connection, have been updated, so check them out. Hope you enjoy this chapter!

With one gun in her hand, JJ remembered the other one she had in her ankle holster but she wouldn't be able to crouch down in front of them without creating suspicion.

She slowly approach the large group of politicians all sitting at the back of the room.

She randomly picked one a crouched down in front of him, with her back to Hamba and Lafar, waving her gun in his face in a threatening manner, as one hand reached down to her ankle and discreetly rolled up her trouser leg. She reached for her gun.

Suddenly she spun around with both arms raised and aimed the guns at Hamba and Lafar and fired two shots in sync which blasted through both of their foreheads as everyone in the room screamed. Sure that they were dead, she turned back to the stunned and shaken politicians.

"Everyone stay calm." JJ said. "I'm on your side." JJ finished before moving towards President Obama.

"Are you ok sir?" JJ said crouching down so she was eye level with the President who was tied to a chair. She immediately went about untying him.

"I'm fine, thanks to you Jareau." The President said relieved.

"It was nothing sir." She replied to her current boss as she finished untying him. "Wait here a minute sir; I need to phone my team." JJ finished.

JJ pulled her phone out of her pocket, dialling Hotch's number.

"JJ." He answered immediately. "What's happening, we heard shots?"

"Nothing to worry about, they were both from me." JJ said immediately calming him. "The President is safe and unharmed; the same goes for the rest of the hostages." JJ said eyeing the politicians. "I'll lead them out; I don't think Hamba brought any of his men so we should be safe to go." JJ finished.

"Ok, good job JJ. You're not hurt are you?" Hotch said the phone now on speaker for the rest of the team to here.

"Nope, all good." JJ confirmed, although both her arms were aching due to her previous to injuries she had sustained. The cuts and bruises from the explosion at Sian's house were also hurting. "I'll see you soon." JJ said before hanging up.

"Ok, everyone stay behind me in a tight group, Mr President stay right by my side." JJ ordered. "Follow me." JJ finished.

As she led them out of the room, JJ kept bother her guns raised in case any of Hamba's men were in the building.

She managed to navigate to the front of the building without any trouble, when she opened the door she tucked her weapons away in the back of her trousers.

JJ led them outside towards all the agents at the front of the building.

The President's protection detail all made their way to him and the team all rushed towards JJ.

"Thank you agent for everything." President Obama shook JJ's hand firmly, going back to the pretence that they didn't know each other.

"As long as everyone is safe, that's all that matters Mr President." JJ replied well aware of the team watching.

The President nodded and made his way to a nearby black car, with his protection detail of Secret Service agents, presumably going back to the White House to make a statement to the press about today's events.

"We should probably get you to a hospital girl." Morgan frowned.

JJ was about to protest when she realised he was probably right. She had blood all over her arm where she had been grazed with the bullet back at Sian's house and she was pretty sure she had cracked a rib or two in the explosion. She also had a few cuts that would probably need stitches.

"You're probably right." JJ said admitting defeat.

"I'm always right." Morgan smirked cockily.

"Shut up." She said playfully rolling her eyes at him. "Let's go." JJ said making her way with the team to the SUVs.

"Well, what's the verdict?" Emily asked as JJ came down the corridor.

"They patched up the graze and I've got two cracked ribs." JJ sighed. Not mentioning that they had redone the other bandage on her shoulder where she had been shot.

"Well it could be worse kid." Rossi said truthfully and JJ nodded.

"Can we go and get some dinner, I'm starving." JJ admitted.

"Sure JJ." Emily laughed.

Suddenly Reid made his way over to JJ and gave her a gentle hug, aware of her injuries. "I'm glad you're ok and I'm sorry about how I reacted, I forgive you." Reid whispered in her ear so only the two of them could hear.

"Thanks Spence." JJ said tearing up a little. "That means a lot to me." She finished giving him a kiss on the cheek as Reid blushed. The team meanwhile tried not to intrude on the moment the two friends were having.

"Ok, let's go." JJ said with a smile.

They had just finished their dinner at the hotel when the TV mounted in the corner of the wall caught their attention.

"We have some big news today, Special Agent Jennifer Jareau with the FBI, single-handedly risked her life and went up against extremely dangerous terrorists to rescue President Obama and over a hundred politicians. Thankfully no one was injured but both of the terrorists were killed, reportedly by Agent Jareau herself." A reporter said.

The table went quiet and stared at JJ, no one sure what to say. "Excuse me a moment." JJ said making her way out the hotel to the street outside.

She blew out a breath. She knew that her name could be reported after what had happened today. She just hoped no one would link today's event and figure out she was actually working for The President directly.

She was shook out of her thoughts by her phone ringing.

"Jareau, not secure." JJ said recognising the number.

"Don't worry Jareau, there's no assignment tonight, I think you deserve a break." The President chuckled.

"I appreciate that sir." JJ said unsure why he was calling then.

"I was just calling to say thanks again for today, it was good work you did." He said genuinely.

"I was just doing my job sir." JJ replied modestly.

"Ok, if you say so Jareau. Anyway get some rest; no doubt I'll have an assignment for you within the next couple of weeks." The President finished before hanging up.

JJ slipped her phone back in her pocket, leaning against the brick wall of the building as finally exhaustion overtook her body.

"Are you ok?" a voice said from behind her suddenly.

"Yeah." JJ replied. "I was prepared for something like that to happen." JJ finished, referring to the news report.

Hotch nodded. "Still, it doesn't make it any easier though." He said knowingly. JJ just shrugged in reply, not sure what to say.

"I really want to talk when we get back to Quantico. But I just need to do this first." Hotch said vaguely, before JJ could even reply he had leaned over and gave her a firm yet gentle kiss on the lips which JJ managed to respond to.

"I've been wanting to do that for hours. I'm proud of you, what you did today was incredible." Hotch said honestly, his gaze held her eyes. "I'm so relieved that you weren't hurt more seriously."

JJ chuckled. "So am I. And you're right we do need to talk and I promise we will when we get back."

"I'll look forward to it." Hotch said letting a rare smile slip.

A/N: So there you have it! That's who JJ has been working for and doing those assignment for. Hope you all like that chapter! Drop me a review if you like, until next time.
