Chapter Fifteen: The Flashback: Part Three
"So this is the dog park?"Aomine asked as he looked around. It was getting dark, close to night time, so there wasn't anyone else there besides this group of animals.
"And what are we doing here, Kise?" Akashi asked from the back of the group of animals. "Why did you take us to this 'dog park'?"
At some point during their trip outside the zoo, Aomine, Kuroko, and Kise were joined by Akashi and Midorima. The dog park that Kise had taken them to was small. Considering it was in the middle of the city and was used mostly by the small dogs who lived in the apartment complexes nearby.
"I told you when you joined us. Aomine wanted me to take him someplace outside of the zoo. So I decided to take him to the dog park! Isn't such a great idea?" he asked excitedly.
"There's no one else here. What are we supposed to be doing here?" Aomine asked.
"Well," Kise began, "Usually when I come here there's a lot of people and dogs here. Although now that I think about it I usually come in the morning."
"So you're saying that you usually come here in the morning, when everyone else nearby is exercising their dogs as well," Midorima concluded.
"Well … yeah!" Kise agreed.
"So there nothing to do here," Aomine said.
"I am going to find something to do around here," Akashi said as he walked out of the gates of the dog park. "If this is one of the only times I going to leave the zoo I might as well make it memorable."
As the group of animals walked out of the gates of the dog park and continued onto the city streets they failed to notice the elderly woman hiding behind a nearby tree. "Why is there a group of strange animals here?" she asked herself as she proceeded to call animal control hoping the animals wouldn't notice and hurt her.

"I'm getting to the good part!" Aomine continued. "So then we went to…

Akashi was walking down one of the busy city sidewalks with the rest of the group following behind him. They all seemed to be oblivious to the people surrounding them who were either screaming for someone to do something or just too in shock to do anything except stand there staring at them.
"why is there a lion, panther, frog, and dog walking around the city?" someone asked.
"you wouldn't think those animals would get along would you," added someone else.
"don't forget about the penguin guys," a third person said.
