Summary: Cammie has come back from a mission that was supposed to take a life-time. Miraculously she finished it within a year; she came back with two other spy operatives (Jason and Ashley) that were supposedly MIA but not the one she was assigned with. [A/N: y'all will find about her later on] When Cammie came back she changed a lot. Jason and Ashley decided to date and settle down, they went their separate ways but she knew it wouldn't be the last time they saw each other. So when she gets back the group find out a shocking secret: She has PTSD. Cammie fights her own conflicting problems in her mind while trying to keep out the people she loves most. Her friends are determined to never leave her so when the Russians decide to get revenge they go to Cammie and Jason's safe-house. The girls and Jason decide to play a prank on a very jealous Zach but that quickly ends when Ashley disappears from the safe house she was in. Together, they decide to find her but with Zach prying into her heart again, Cammie is scared they -especially Zach-all might end up like her (the partner) and it'll be all her fault.

Previously.. [A/N: Changing this up a bit]

"I'm still madly in love with you."

"Kay."

And with that he left, troubled by the fact that she really was too engrossed with the hacking. Little did he know right after he left, there was a satisfied grin on Cammie's face.

"Spies always multi-task. And I really wish I could tell you the same," she looked up at the ceiling, "But if I did, you'll die like her and I really won't forgive myself." she whispered.

And without further aido, the next chapter!

Cam POV

"AHA!" I yelled in triumph. She had been sitting there for 2 hours trying to find a loophole in the video footage while the others were downstairs "inspecting" Jason and hers gadgets. More like breaking, she thought. I inspected closely as I watched how the video footage flickered for a moment and how the smoke from the teapot billowed for what seemed like forever. Ha, she thought, a never ending smoking teapot, that's a new one. Feeling satisfied by the hard evidence I decided to copy it into a hard drive and go downstairs to give it to Liz to re-examine it. Once I descend I see a sight that I've never seen before, Jason sweating to the bone while fighting Zach. Jason never sweats though must be a tough one, I thought.I watched for about 5 minutes until Macey came up from checking the Louis Vutton bag to talk to me.

"You know, Jason is testing him to see if he's worthy of you." Macey studied my facial expression as she said it. With no such luck, there was only an amused smile on my face.

I turned and made my way to Liz and Jonas, "I know." Macey just laughed. I went up to the star- crossed nerd lovers, "I find a loophole from the security cameras, I just need you guys to re-check it so I can confirm my suspicions."

[Jonas] "What suspicions?"

"That she wasn't kidnapped, she went off grid because she probably noticed that someone tailed her. Of course, I might be wrong. There are so many possibilities." I groaned. That's when I noticed the grunts stopping and the shrieking sounds that Grant made. As a joke.. I think. I turned and faced them, "What?" I raised my eyebrow.

Bex started, "That groan has been the little emotion you've shown us this whole time we were with you."

I grit my teeth, "Oh, sorry. Next time I'll put a little sob into it next time because spies cry and show their emotions."

Bex's head tilted, "You make it sound like if we do, we die. We can show emotion Cam."

"Well maybe in normal missions but this," I waved around the room, "was made for the opponents we're fighting now."

Her head only tilted more, "That has nothing to emotions."

I sighed inwardly, "The "toys" in here are meant to keep us alive. Believe it or not, that's not even what saves us. Emotion is." I went upstairs only to hear Bex shout.

"I don't bloody get it!" She yelled in frustration. I ignore her but not Jason. I vaguely hear him say something: "If we show emotion on this mission, we die."

I slammed my door and slid against it. I covered my face with my hands and just leaned on the door. I stood there for minutes until I decide to pack my clothes and go down to Ashley's safe house located in California. By myself. I've got so much work to do, I thought. I smiled, This is going to be a fun ride. In anticipations, I began to pack even faster.

Zach POV

I stood there on the mat dripping with sweat. I looked over at where Jason was currently at, he was dripping more than I am. I smirked, feeling satisfied but that was all ruined by Bex who was making sounds while sparring with Grant. She was pretty pissed off, Bex knew how dangerous the mission was so why was Cammie treating all of us like we're newborn babies? I silently went back upstairs and steered myself in the direction of Cammie's door. I knocked only to be invited by Cammie's voice that floated through the door, "Come in!" I walked in and faced Cammie's back, she looked busy packing.

"Hey Jason, I'm going to leave and look for Ashley so don't be worried if don't come back. Tell the others that I just went to th-" She turned at the minute she said that and gaped at me.

"Sorry I wasn't Jason. I was just going to check up on you to see if you were okay. Being the only one upstairs and all." I waved around.

She turned, "Yeah. Well, I'm fine. Thanks for asking."

"Gallagher Girl, look at me." I said gently. I took a step towards her.

She whipped her head around, "Don't call me that! It reminds me of the past! What do you want?," her expression softened, "Don't stand so close to me." I wasn't even close but I decided to go even closer, to burst her bubble. Her eyes widened, "Why are you smirking? Get away from me! I swear I'm going to screa- mmph!" I wrapped my arms around her. Screw resistance. I looked down at her only to see her hugging me with the same ferocity I was. I smirked.

"I can hear you smirking. This doesn't mean anything; I just really needed a hug." Her voice was muffled by my chest.

"Whatever you say Cammie, whatever you say."

"Shut up, perverted alien."

"What?! How am I a perverted alien?"

"You just are."

My smirk got even wider when realization hit me, "You didn't have a better comeback that's why."

"Shut up Zach the Perverted Alien. Let me hug you for a few more seconds."

"Why can't you just hug Liz?"

"You're the one who invited me into your arms."

"Touché Morgan, touché. Now about you leaving.." I grinned.

Cammie groaned, "You can't come because I'm not going."

"Why?"

"If I did, I'd have to bring you along."

"Whattt?" I whined [A/N: Not like Zach but he's playing around with her. He's happy she didn't kill him k.]

"Oh, don't be such a baby."

"Whatever," I murmured, "I would have found you anyway. I'm not letting go of you. Never." Cammie tensed in my arms.

"Zach, let me go." She said softly. I hesitantly un-wrapped my arms. She sighed, "Look Zach, that hug didn't mean anything to me and surely it didn't mean anything to you." [A/N: She's pretending she doesn't know.]

"Yes it did." I argued, "And until my hugs make you feel something in your heart, I'm never going to stop."

"Stop what?"

"Cammie Morgan," I looked her in the eyes, "I'll never stop loving you, until you love yourself, until you feel something in your guarded heart, and I'm never ever going to stop loving you." I stood up and left, I was mad, how can she say that?

"Zach!" I turned. She gave me a genuine smile, "Find the key."

"Find the key to what?" I asked suspiciously.

"The key to my heart." She said softly. With that, she disappeared into her room.

Happy Valentine's Day! I decided to have some Zammie today. The intensity begins with their love and the mission. What will happen next?! Will Cammie ever truly admit her growing feelings? R&R!
