Mika relaxed in the hotel room after another mission with Ceberus. It had been her fourth one. With in a week they had been on four straight missions, including her first. She had improved, but she didn't know if she liked that. She also didn't like how natural it felt to end the criminals life. She had only had to end two of them. Jenos tried to keep her out of that situation, but she knew that if she had an opening she should take it.

One good thing that happened, was she learned how to control her wings. They came out on demand and retracted on order. It was pretty cool. Mika looked up as Jenos walked in, tired. "How's the scouting going?"

"Nothing yet. Naizer is still out searching." Jenos sat. "I'm going back out in a bit."

"Do you guys want any help? I can scout." Mika said getting up.

"We are running low on supplies. Why don't you head down to the sore and grab us some food... About a weeks worth is good." He smiled, patting her head. "And maybe you can cook up a delicious dinner again."

Mika sighed. He had been like this ever since she joined. He refused to let her join in the scouting, and was reluctant to let her even join in the fighting. She knew it was because he cared about her and didn't want her getting hurt, but she was getting bored. She walked out and headed to the store.

She had been happy to discover that she was a decent cook, Jenos had been over exited. She had cooked every meal since they had learned she was a "cooking queen" in Jenos' words.

She looked over the food choices and bough what they needed. She headed back towards the base, trying to decide how she was going to convince the guys to let her help. She kept muttering out words of annoyance, as she thought of their reactions. She was almost to the hotel when she heard a voice.

"MIKA!" She turned, expecting to see Jenos. Instead it was a man with a suit, a hat, green hair, and an eye patch. She was stunned as he wrapped his arms around her suddenly. "Mika I found you! Thank goodness your alright." He pulled back and fingered her hair. "What happened to your hair... What happened to you in general?"

"I... uh... Who are you?" Mika said, a bit nervous. "And how do you know me?"

"Oh Mika..." He touched her check gently. "You lost your memories... You... You don't remember me..."

"Uh... No... I'm sorry... But, who are you?"

"My name is Sven... I'm your friend. We've been traveling together for a while. We also travel with our friends Train and Eve... Mika."

Mika had no idea what he was talking about. Of course, she didn't remember anything before Jenos. So Sven could be telling the truth, or he could be lying. "If we are friends... Prove it."

Sven blinked and then gently touched the locket. "I gave this to you before we lost you... We didn't get around to putting a picture in... But we are going to. Mika I promise." When she continued to stare at him blankly, he sighed. "I had your name carved onto the front, so if you lost your memories again... you'd at least know your name."

Mika took a step back. "Anyone can claim that... If you really know me, then you'll give me proof!"

"I have no physical proof." Sven sighed. "And I don't know how much about yourself you know... I don't want to scare or worry you..."

Mika frowned. "What do you mean by that?"

Sven looked at her. "Mika... Please don't run... I know about you... I know about your wings." She flinched and he smiled. "You know what I'm talking about!"

"How... How did you know?!"

"I told you." He hugged her suddenly. "I'm your friend." Mika suddenly found herself blushing as she looked up at him. He was handsome, she would admit. But she didn't know him, at least she didn't remember knowing him. She suddenly had an overwhelming urge to get to know him. "Mika?" He gently whipped the tears that were at the corners of her eyes. "Are you okay?"

"I... I don't know why I'm crying... Did something bad happen between us?"

Sven looked at her weakly. "Mika... everything is okay now. I'm here for you."

"S... Sven..." She whispered gently. It came out so easily, as if she had said the name many times before.

"It's okay Mika..." He looked down at her, and then suddenly leaned in and kissed her.

At first Mika was too shocked to register what was happening, but then she found herself kissing him back. As he pulled out of the kiss, Mika froze. Her head was suddenly throbbing. She collapsed against his chest, clutching her head in pain.

"MIKA!" She felt Sven tighten his grip on her, and suddenly it all came back to her. All the memories of her, Sven, Train, and Eve. When they first met, the times she had with he adopted dad Sen, and finally Jargon's taunt during their last match.

"SVEN!" She clung to him tightly. "Your alive... Your alive! Jargon didn't kill you... He didn't..." She paused and looked at him, face flushed. "Sven you... kissed me."

Sven and Mika stared at each other in shock for a moment. Finally Sven spoke. "Did... did you memories return?"

"...All the one's I had when I first met you... and the ones when we were together, yes... Sven do you... do you love me?" Mika whispered the question.

Sven stared at her for a moment and then smiled. "Yes... I love you Mika... And I promise you, I'll help you recover the rest of your memories."

Mika smiled happily and wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him again. She was more happy than she had ever been in her life... At lease as far as she remembered.

"Come on Mika..." Sven smiled. "Let's go find Train and Eve, and tell them the good news... And then we can continue on... We've got some memories to find."

Mika smiled. "Right."
