Jenos frowned as he stared at the folded paper on the counter next to the bag of groceries. He picked it up, right as Nizer walked in behind him. "Where is Mika?"

"I'm not sure." Jenos frowned reading the note. "Apparently she regained her memories…. And ran into an old friend."

"So where did she go?" Beluga asked. "She just left a note."

"She says 'sorry I had to leave, but this isn't the job for me. I remember who I am now and being part of Cerberus isn't part of that. I won't tell anyone about you guys and I'm glad we met. Take care, Mika.' Looks like she didn't want to let us know where she is going." Jenos said passing the note around for the others to see.

Nizer looked it over. "She didn't mention her friend's name so it will be difficult to find her."

"Let's leave her be." Jenos said calmly, and dug through the bag of food. "She doesn't want to be found."

"Sephiria-."

"I'll deal with her." Jenos interrupted. "I'm the one who brought Mika in."

Nizer nodded, but paused spotting the gun he had loaned Mika sitting on the counter. "She's not planning on coming back."

Mika smiled as she walked out of the bathroom, drying her hair. She paused outside the main room, hearing Annette and Sven talking. Her smiled faded as she caught onto the subject.

"I found him… it wasn't easy, but I found him." Annette was saying.

"Zane Rikan…. So that is Jargon's real name." Sven said evenly. "It good to know his real name finally."

"I still don't understand why you have been calling him that up till now."

"Well we never learned his name, and the first target we had when meeting with Mika was a man named Jargon…. We all agreed to just refer to him as that, and he never said anything to correct us."

"Plus Jargon sounds like Jar-head." Train laughed. "It was easier to make fun of him with that name."

"Hmmm…. Well he's got a large reward… do you plan on going after him?" Annette asked.

"No… I don't think it's a good idea."

"WHY NOT?!" Mika frowned storming in. "I'm tired of him threatening all of you!"

"Mika?" Sven got up. It was now that Mika realized that everyone was there. Eve was just being silent. "Mika listen-."

"Sven I love you, but I can't let this guy just keep popping into my life and threatening you all…. Next time he might actually hurt one of you." She glanced over at the picture. "So his real name is Zane Rikan?"

"Yeah." Annette said calmly. "He's got a big target on his head because of all the trouble he's caused… Mostly in the last ten years."

"Ten years…. And he hasn't been caught?" Mika shivered. She knew he was strong, but now he seemed even stronger.

"Yeah. And we only know his name because he shouted it out once at his intended target…. He wanted them to know their killers name."

"Mika, this is why I don't think it's such a good idea to go after him…. I don't want anything happening to you." Sven walked over and rested his hand on her shoulder gently. "I've already lost you once; I don't want to lose you again."

Mika looked down. "Fine…" She didn't want to, but she knew Sven wouldn't give up.

"Aw man…. I was really hoping to finally take down that jar-head." Train grumbled. "Hey Annette, can I get a glass of milk?'

Mika smiled. "You know, you should call him by his name now."

"Naw, don't feel like it." Train shrugged.

Mika yawned as she put her book down. Eve had said it was a good book, but Mika was just too tired to really get into it.

"Hey." Sven said from the door. They were currently staying in one of Sven's "safe houses" while trying to decide what to do. "Are you heading to bed?"

"Yeah… Eve might find this book fascinating but I can hardly get past the first chapter." Mika smiled and got up stretching. "Eve and Train in bed?"

"Eve is asleep, but I have no idea where Train is."

"Probably the roof. He is a cat after all." Mika smiled and wrapped her arms around Sven, resting her head on his chest. Sven replied by wrapping his arms around her protectively.

"Mika…. About what happened with Rikan…. And you losing your memories…" He brushed a hand through her hair. "Is anything bothering you?"

Mika paused to think and gather her thoughts. She sighed. "I want to know just who Zane Rikan is…. How he knows me…. And who exactly am I?"

"You're Mika." Sven smiled, leaning in and kissing her gently. "You're the woman I love and nothing will change that."

Mika kissed him back and smiled. "Sven… I don't know what I would do without you….. But I still am worried… All my memories before I meet Sen are a complete mystery… I could understand some memories being gone, but not all of them."

"Mika…" Sven looked down at her.

"It makes me wonder if Sen knew anything about my past… or if I was just some child that he decided to take in…. Like my wings… my hair." She touched it gently.

"That was a definite shock… But I still think you are beautiful."

Mika smiled. "Sven…."

"And now you have a picture to show just how beautiful you are." He said taping her locket.

"I think I'll use it more to recognize you." She sighed. "Sven…. What are our plans?"

"I thought we decided to figure that out tomorrow." He blinked.

"Not right now… But us… in the future. You've already said you'd help me find out about my past… But how long are you planning on spending?"

"As long as it takes." Sven said gently, kissing her forehead. "And then I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

Mika flushed. "Sven…"

"I love you Mika, now why don't you get some sleep?" Sven pulled back. "I'll see you in the morning."

"Goodnight." Mika smiled and kissed him again. "Get a goodnight sleep as well."

Sven smiled and turned to leave. But he knew that Mika wasn't satisfied. She couldn't be until she knew the truth of her past. He didn't like it, but Rikan was the best bet to learning that truth. That only left one option, find Rikan and capture him.
