Mika yawned as she stopped for the night. It had been a while since she had left the others. She missed them, especially Sven, but it was safer for them to stay away from them. She sighed as walked. I wonder how they are doing… She looked off and sighed. Even though I chose to leave them, I miss them and wish to go back.

Mika paused as she noticed that she was reaching for her locket again. "MAN!" She sighed and stopped at a small restaurant to get something to eat and drink. As she walked in she paused. A man walked in behind her. Usually she wouldn't care, but this man stood out. For one thing he wore a lab coat into the restaurant. He glanced over at her and smiled slightly. He walked towards her and sat down in the bar seat next to her.

"Hello." He smiled. "What are you doing here alone?"

"Traveling." She said calmly and turned back to her food. She didn't truly trust this guy. He had messy black hair and wore glasses but his expression was dark.

"Tell me…. What is so interesting about you? You don't seem like normal people." He smiled. "Something about you is different."

Mika shifted. "What do you mean?"

"Just something I noted about you from the moment I saw you." He turned and ordered something to drink.

Mika shifted and turned away from him. She finished up her meal quickly and then left. She didn't want to be near him anymore. He made her feel nervous. She rushed out the moment she paid her bill.

Once Mika was a good distance away from the restaurant she relaxed. She looked around but froze. Her hearing had gotten better since she had gained better control on her powers, and right now her hearing was warning her. Something big was charging at her. She spun and jumped back, just in time as a huge rock like fist slammed into the ground where she had been. Mika narrowed her eyes as she looked at the strange rock glob like monster. She wasn't entirely sure what it was. But that didn't matter at the moment.

Mika jumped up and landed on the monster's fist, sprouting her wings. She smirked down at the monster and flapped her wings, taking to the air. The monster stared at its fist confused; it didn't seem to understand where she went. Mika took her chance and sent a wave of feathers at it. Mika smirked as the feathers dug through the monster, cutting it to pieces.

She landed and folded her wings up. She walked over to the monster, curious. As she crouched down next to the crumbled up rock bits of the monster she heard a noise. It sounded like an arrow shooting towards her, only smaller. Before she could move she felt something pierce her neck. It felt like a small shot, and she felt dizzy. She wobbled up and spun, which sent her falling to her feet again. She looked up but didn't see anyone. "WHO'S THERE!?" She called as best as she could. The edges of her vision where going black and her body was shutting down. I can't move! She tried to get up and figure out who was walking towards her, but her eyes wouldn't stay open and everything was going cold. Am I dying?! Sven… Everything went black and Mika knew nothing else.

Mika opened her eyes slowly and felt feeling coming back to her. She shifted and flinched. Her wrists were chained to the wall above her, wait not a wall, but a table. Her feet where as well, and a cold sensation on her neck informed her there metal on her neck. She struggled, but nothing she did seemed to help her. MY WINGS! She grinned and felt her wings spread out, but pain hit as her wings got clamped down instantly under metal.

"Ah, there we go." Mika looked up to see the man in the lab coat.

"Who are you?!"

"You may call me Doctor. I am a member of the apostles of the stars…. And I think that you need a nap now."

Mika felt another shot in her neck and everything started going fuzzy again. S-Sven…. Everything went black again.

Mika shifted as she woke up. She was sitting up against a wall in what looked like a small bedroom. There was a bed pushed up against the wall, but there was nothing else in the room. There were two doors. Mika got up, intending to see where she was, but she flinched as pain came from her back. Mika glanced over and saw her wings folded awkwardly against her back. Both look broken. She moved to sit on the bed and get a better look at her wings when she noticed the chain around her ankle. It connected to the wall and a large chain lay coiled up. "What is going on?"

Mika decided that her wings could wait and moved around the room. She could reach one door with some slack in the chain, but not the other door. The bed was almost right next to where the chain connected. Mika opened the door that she could reach and found a small bathroom. She could move around the room easily, but there looked to be no way out.

Mika sighed and returned to the bed. She sat down and gently touched her wing. It was overly sore and she could tell that it wouldn't be much use. She couldn't even fire a feather missile, it hurt too much. Mika frowned; putting them away wasn't any good. It hurt too much to move it even a little bit.

The door that she couldn't reach opened and Mika stood up. The doctor guy walked in, along with a man with white hair. Both made her nervous and cautious. "Who are you?! Where am I?!"

"My name is Creed Diskenth. I am the leader of the Apostles of the Stars. This is one of my allies, Doctor. You are in our hideout castle." The white haired man smiled.

Mika frowned. Creed, that name sounds familiar. "Have I met you before?" She asked.

"No, we have not." Creed smiled.

"Fascinating." Doctor said stepping forwards a bit. "Your wings are beautiful and exquisite."

Mika tensed. "Why am I here?" She tried to move her wings into firing position, but flinched as she was met with pain instead.

"Those wings of yours are broken." Doctor said calmly. "I checked on them myself, and you will find that your usual strength and speed are being blocked as well."

Mika frowned as she looked at him angrily. "You didn't answer why I am here?!"

"You are here because we want you to join our mission." Creed smiled. "We will take over this world and make it better. We The Apostles of the Stars with our power of Tao will be unstoppable."

Mika frowned. "And you think kidnapping me and chaining me up will make me want to join with you?" She glared at them.

"You will come around, you're not going anywhere." Doctor smiled. "We will return later with some food for you." He turned and walked out.

"I truly hope you will join with us." Creed smiled. "You and one other are required for my planned future!" He turned and left as well.

I need to get out of here… But how? Mika frowned and looked down at the chain. First I have to take care of that…. Sven… It was a bad idea to leave, I see that now. We could help protect each other when we were all together…. Sven… Mika started crying weakly.
