Mika glanced at the roof. She had lost track of the time she had been there in the prison. Doctor and Creed had come see her sometimes, but they only came to bring her food and see if she would join them. She had refused every time. The door opened again and Mika looked up. Doctor walked in.

"Good morning Mika." He smiled. He set down the plate of food. "Have you made your decision yet?"

"I made it the moment you brought me here; I'm not joining you or your friends!" Mika glared at him. "Now go away and leave me alone. If you have no plan of letting me go, then just leave me alone."

Doctor chuckled. "You will come to your senses in no time." He turned and left. Mika looked at the door angrily and then sighed.

Sven…. I wonder what you are doing… And if I will see you again. She looked down at the chain around her ankle and frowned. If I could just break the chain… But I still can't use my wings…. She looked down. Her wings were still in pain. She stood up to stretch her legs. The chain around her ankle still hurt her, but she had learned to ignore it for the most part.

Mika looked at the door and moved towards it again. She glared as she couldn't reach still. She shifted her wing again and flinched. Why is it taking so long to heal?! I've always been a fast healer, but this wound is taking longer than usual… She looked at the food, but ignored it. She didn't feel like eating anything.

She sat down on the bed and closed her eyes and sighed. A new pain in her wing caught her attention. She glanced back at it and noticed her wing shrinking. She moaned in pain as her body absorbed her wings back in. She flinched and leaned over as her back cried out in pain. She buried her head in the blankets of the bed to muffle her cries of pain. Mika gasped, breathless, as her wings merged completely into her back. She shivered. I don't ever want to do that again… If my wings are broken, I'm leaving them by themselves. Mika paused as she glanced down at her ankle. It had been broken somehow. A feather lay next to it. I see! While I was struggling, my wing must have shredded a wing, which hit the chain! Mika grinned. "Time to get out of here!"

Mika tried to open the door, but found that it was locked. She frowned and then reached over and picked up the feather. I hope this works! She stabbed the wing into the door, concentrating on it. There was a creak and the door burst open as the lock was cut by the sharp feather.

Mika grinned and then started to run through the hallway. Her back was sore, but she was able to ignore it for the most part. She glanced around, wondering where exactly she was. As long as she had been in the Apostles of the Stars's mansion, she had been in the room. There has to be some way out… She turned and ran around another corner. She froze seeing a bunch of guys wearing armor. They all turned towards her and glared.

"GET HER!"

Mika gasped and dodged the bullets headed towards her. At least I can still dodge; my other powers were drained…. I'm sure that Doctor drugged the food and drinks that I ate to keep me from using my other powers…. And it's still in my body. She dodged again, but knew she couldn't keep that up. She turned and headed back down the hallway, intending to run. She gasped as she ran into another group of soldiers. OH NO! Mika glanced at the two groups surrounding her. But before any of the soldiers could do anything one in the back of a group cried out.

The soldiers all were soon crying out as strings shot out, knocking them all down and injuring them. Mika ducked down, to avoid the strings. "Got them Shao." A familiar voice chuckled.

The strings retreated and Mika slowly got up. "Jenos?"

The seventh Chronos number turned and looked at her. "Mika?!"

Mika smiled brightly and rushed forward, hugging him. "JENOS! IT REALLY IS YOU!" She smiled happily.

"Jenos, who is this girl?" A younger man asked from behind Jenos. Mika looked over. He appeared to be somewhere around the age of 20. He had long black hair, which hung in a low ponytail and light green eyes. He wore a suit and a strange cloth around his shoulders. A large X was centered between his clavicles just above his chest, bellow his collar.

A Chronos number. Mika realized.

"A friend of mine." Jenos smiled. "This is Mika. She trained with Cerberus once." He glanced down at Mika. "What are you doing here?"

"She didn't come with the group of sweepers." Shoa said calmly. "I don't recognize her."

"Sweepers?" Mika blinked.

"So why are you here Mika?" Jenos looked down at her. "And where have you been?"

"…I found one of my friends and continued traveling with him for a while… But then I left to travel on my own for a little. Then I was kidnaped by this doctor creep. He brought me here and asked me to join the apostles of the stars." She turned to Shoa. "Now tell me, what do you mean by sweepers came here?"

Shoa blinked. "Oh, just a group of sweepers that came to capture Creed and receive his reward.

"Creed…reward…" Mika froze. "Was there a green haired one there?!"

"Hm? You mean Sven Volfied?"

Mika froze. "So he is here?!"

"Is he the friend you wrote about…?" Jenos asked.

Mika nodded. "I… Jenos, I am sorry about leaving so suddenly without saying goodbye… But my one of my friends is Train, the Black cat."

"Really?" Jenos blinked. "The Black Cat is one of your friends…"

Mika sighed. "I've got to go… I need to warn them how strong Creed is… Be careful yourself."

"Mika…" Jenos looked down at her.

"I… I'll see you after all this okay?" Mika smiled. "I'll come find you and we can all hang out. You, me, Naizer, and Beluga." She blinked as Jenos looked down. "Jenos?"

"You should know Mika…. Beluga is dead, and Naizer is injured. Naizer would have come, but his injuries stopped him."

"B…. Beluga?" Mika gasped shocked. "What happened?!"

"He was killed while trying to get us out of Creed's last castle…. It was Creeds fault!" Jenos growled.

Mika tensed her fist. "Creed! I'm not going to let him get away with that! Tell Naizer I said hello… I'll see you both after this… and we can grieve for Beluga after that. I'm going." She turned and rushed off. I have to find Creed! He's not going to get away with hurting Beluga!

"MIKA!" Jenos called after her, but Mika was already running in another direction. Some of her powers were returning and she could smell Creed.

Mika turned down another hallway and slowed to a halt as a more familiar scent hit her nose. Tears began to fill her eyes. She grinned and rushed forward towards the scent. She shot forward and wrapped her arms around the gentleman. "SVEN!"

The group came to a halt and Sven looked down. "Mika?!"

"Oh Sven!" Mika smiled happily. "I've found you! I've found you!"

"Oh hey Mika!" Train smiled. "What are you doing here?"

"You're the girl Doctor brought here!" A monkey said from by Train. Mika looked down at him confused.

"Eites?" Eve looked down. "What do you mean?"

The monkey jumped. "Uh… Doctor brought the girl here, planning on having her join us… Creed wanted her to become a member, since she is so strong."

"What?!" Sven gasped. "Mika are you okay?!"

"I'm fine." Mika smiled. She decided not to mention her broken wings to Sven. "So you are here to find and take down Creed… I want to join." She tensed. "He is the reason a friend of mine was killed…. I can't forget that."

"… Let's go then." Train nodded.

Sven gripped Mika's arm. "Mika…. Are you sure you are alright?"

"I'm fine. Let's go." She smiled. "Come on, after we beat Creed we can talk more."

"Here." Sven handed over her locket. "This is yours."

Mika smiled and quickly put it on. "Come on." The two ran after Train, the monkey, and Eve.

After a minute they came to a room and found Doctor lying on the ground, passed out. "D-Doctor?!" Eites, the monkey, gasped. "Who… Who could have done this to him?!"

"We did." Train said, putting his hand on the monkey's head. "Now, you lead us from here. To the fourth floor; and the white snake's lair."

"O-Of course! R-Right this way!" The monkey gasped.

Mika looked down at the body as they passed. You can't beat us…. We are too strong a team. She smirked and continued with Sven. Sven paused for a moment and looked back. Eve was glaring down at the body as well.

"What's wrong?" Sven asked.

"Oh! It's nothing… really." Eve jogged after them again.

Mika smiled and the team continued to jog forward. "This place is really built like a maze!" Eve said looking around.

"Y-Yeah. There are traps and holes scattered here and there to catch sweepers." Eites said. "Just up ahead is the midair bridge leading to the white snake's lair."

"Midair Bridge?" Train asked, but blinked as they arrived at an open aired bridge.

"Hold it right there." A woman said. She had a gothic appearance, with dark make-up and long green hair. Some of her hair covered her right eye. She wore a red shirt under a white jacket decorated with red roses. Mika recognized her as the actress Echidna Parass. Standing next to her was a large bulky man and a skinny guy. Both of them looked like a creepy human monster mixes. "The only one who is allowed to pass here is Train Heartnet!

What?! Why? Mika looked over at her friend. Why is only Train allowed to pass? And why is Echidna with the Apostles of the Stars? And who are those guys behind her…. Mika shifted and flinched slightly. Her back was still paining her slightly. My wings are still healing inside me… I need to be careful… Mika tensed and watched Echidna look at them.
