"Echidna!" Sven gasped staring at the once actress.
The skinny monster man behind Echidna started laughing. "It's been a while since we killed someone."
"You said I'm the only one allowed to pass?" Train asked. "Don't give me that junk!"
"It's alright Train." Sven said stepping forward. Mika looked at him shocked. "You go on to Creed's place ahead of us. We'll head there later…. After we beat these guys." Eve stepped up next to Sven. Mika followed them and grinned.
"Give that Creed a beating for me too Train." She smiled.
"Sven… Eve… Mika…" Train looked over at them.
"Go, Train." Sven smiled. "She said that only you were allowed to pass."
"We'll catch up with you later." Eve nodded. "Go on ahead and settle things with Creed!" She looked over her shoulder at him. "It's just like what Saya said in Warp world. The only one who can stop Creed is you, Train."
"Just one thing: Don't die." Sven smirked. "You still haven't paid off your debt."
"And be careful Train." Mika smiled. "These guys are tough."
"Got it." Train smiled and then ran right past Echidna and the two monster guys.
"Letting that one by is all right, isn't it Echidna?" The skinny monster asked.
"Yes. Your targets are the remaining three. And Eites who betrayed us." Echidna said calmly.
"Roger!" The skinny one said happily while Eites freaked out silently.
The two monsters stared at them silently for a moment and then the big one's hand turned into a machine gun on his wrist. He started firing towards them. Mika, Sven, and Eve dodged the missiles.
"GAAA?! H-H-H-He's shooting me too?!" Eites yelled jumping away from the missiles.
"What is this guy?! He transformed his arm!" Sven gasped shocked. Mika landed near him.
Eve stared up at the skinny one, who was flying up with rocket feet. "There's nothing to be surprised about. We're the ultimate soldiers: a fusion of nanomachines and weapons!" The skinny one laughed. "We are the Phantom Star Brigade!" He started shooting more missiles from his chest down towards Eve and Eites while the big one shot machine gun missiles towards Mika and Sven. Echidna just stood there.
Mika tensed as the missiles came, not sure what to do Mika stared at the oncoming missiles in fear. Pain suddenly exploded from Mika's back and smoke suddenly surrounded her.
"Did you kill him?" Echidna's voice asked from outside the smoke.
"He's not dead." The big one's voice said. "He dodged every one of them."
Mika opened her eyes as the smoke cleared. The skinny one was flying up in the air and the big was standing. But he was blocked mostly from view by Sven who held his briefcase on his side and a gun pointed at the big one. "A fusion with weapons, eh? Then they're cyborgs… or rather the perfect assassinating robots." The smoke completely cleared. "If we're fighting robots, then I won't show any mercy."
Eve had her arm turned into a shield to protect herself and Eites. Mika glanced around. Eve's shield was too far to protect her and Sven hadn't protected her. Her wing suddenly folded into her line of view. Understanding hit her. In danger her body had subconsciously pulled the wings out for protection. Mika could feel the blood dripping down her back from where the wings had forced themselves out. She flinched weakly.
"Wahahahaha! Sounds like fun." The skinny one laughed excitedly. "Looks like we have a serious battle on our hands!"
"Wh… Why…. Why did you save me?!" Eites asked Eve shocked. "Earlier you were taken for a fool for sympathizing with an enemy! And yet…. Why did you willingly protect me? I-I Don't understand!"
"Because I just couldn't let it happen… I couldn't let someone die right in front of me." Eve said calmly. "I fight to protect life, not to take it. That's what I believe."
"Eve…" Mika looked over and nodded. I have to ignore the pain from my broken wings and work on forcing myself to fight through the pain.
"Eve! Mika! Here they come!" Sven yelled as the skinny one started to fly down.
"WAHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughed as he fired at Eve's shield.
Mika turned away from Eve's fight and charged at the big one. Her back protested but she flapped her wings, sending a wave of feather's at it. The big one blocked it with his armor.
"EVE!" Sven yelled suddenly.
"SVEN!" Mika yelled as the big one dropped down on all four and shot missiles out of his back aiming towards Sven. Sven held up his suitcase and shot. Smoke appeared as the missiles hit. Mika froze, worried about Sven. But as the smoke cleared Sven was fine. "Sven." She sighed in relief.
The big guy aimed to hit Sven. "Don't look away." Sven dodged.
Mika sent another wave of missiles; she noticed a little hint of blood on some of them. They inserted themselves in the big one's armor.
"Mika are you okay?!" Sven called.
"Yeah." She lied.
Sven nodded but was interrupted by a loud noise. He looked off towards the noise. "Where are you looking?" The big one asked. Missiles suddenly covered his whole body and aimed right for Sven. Sven remained calm and jumped up starting to dodge them all. He fired back. "It's no use. My body is 80% machine. That gun is useless!"
There was more firing. Mika could see she wasn't needed and turned to look towards Eve and Skinny. Mika gasped shocked as skinny separated into two parts. His upper half stayed in front of Eve, who was flying with her wings. "It was a mistake to challenge me to a mid-air fight Girlie!" Skinny fired at her from above and kicked at her from bellow. Mika gasped as Eve started to fall. Both machines laughed.
"Eve!" Mika gasped. She wanted to fly out and help her, but Mika knew her broken wings couldn't hold. Eve luckily caught herself in midair and flew back up.
"Good, good. I really want to make that face of yours twist in agony." Skinny laughed.
"Can I ask you something?" Eve asked floating near Skinny. "Did you choose to have those bodies of your own free will?"
"Huh? Of course we did! It's an invincible steel body! It's the best! Not even a Tao master can beat us now!" Skinny laughed.
"I see…" Eve frowned.
"What kind of nonsense are you talking about?" Skinny laughed.
Mika did as well and aimed a bunch of " at him, but he easily dodged them. Mika glared up at him.
"Leave this to me." Eve called down to her.
Mika nodded and turned back to look over at Sven and the big one. "This time I'll hit you! Fire!" The big one yelled and fired a large amount at Sven again. Mika held up her wing to block the missiles. More blood ran down her back.
"Don't bet on it!" Sven said dodging the blasts.
"Impossible!" The big one gasped. "He dodged every bullet before it even got there!"
Mika smirked as Sven was suddenly behind the big one. "…Hey, do you know anything about 'water cutters?'" Sven asked.
"Wh-What?!" The big one blinked.
"Sven?" Mika moved forward a little.
"Using a special apparatus, you can fire water at extremely high pressure creating a 'blade' with tremendous cutting power. It's even used to manufacture dynamite." Sven smirked.
The big one turned towards Sven. "LIKE I CARE ABOUT THAT!"
Sven held up his briefcase and a slot opened. Suddenly a stream of water shot out, cutting the big one in half. Echidna stared in shock. Mika grinned happily. "Sven!"
The big one fell apart and Sven tipped his hat slightly. "Although I use it primarily as a supplementary gadget… It's rather handy."
Mika turned to look at Eve's battle. The bottom half of skinny moved to kick Eve again. "Ha! Your back is wide open!" The upper part paused. "Huh?!" He froze as he noticed cuts appearing along the lower half and it suddenly fell apart. "NOOO! YOU CUT UP MY LOWER HALF!"
"Go Eve!" Mika grinned looking up.
"I'm not going easy on you anymore!" Eve said, suddenly behind the upper part. She grabbed his arm and started flying towards the ground fast. The upper part cried out.
"HYAA!" Eve yelled and threw him straight into the bridge. Mika quickly moved out of the way. Eve landed and her wings disappeared.
"We… will defeat Creed. We came here with that belief." Sven said calmly as Echidna stared at them in shock. "Your army that doesn't believe in anything can't defeat us with just a desire to kill. You think too little of us."
"…Is that so?" Echidna smirked. "They're awfully pathetic aren't they? The Phantom Star Brigade… We put a lot of money into making them and in the end, they're junk. I figured the one to put an end to you two… Would have to be me."
"I don't really want to fight a woman." Sven frowned. "I don't suppose you would just give up now, would you?"
"Give up?" Echidna asked. "Don't give me that! What makes you think I would? Creed has already obtained the power of immortality."
"What?!" Mika gasped.
"Wh-What did you say?!" Sven gasped.
"No one can thwart his ambitions any longer. Sephiria Arks and Black Cat are likely already dead by now."
"Sephiria?!" Mika gasped. Is she here? Jenos was…. Sephirira please be okay!
Mika's attention was drawn back towards Echidna as she drew a gun from her jacket. "All that's left…. Is to kill you three and everything will be over!" She aimed the gun at Sven. "First… will be you!" She fired.
"SVEN!" Eve and Mika yelled together. The shots suddenly went through portals. New portals appeared all around Sven. From all sides bullets aimed at him. Mika sighed in relief as he dodged them all. Echidna stared at him in shock.
"It's no use. Through special training, I've evolved my right eye, the Glaspar Eye, to see all movements in slow motion. No matter how many bullets you shoot, if I can see their motion, it's no big deal."
Mika grinned, glad that Sven could protect himself now.
"I see…. An evolved right eye… huh? So that's how you were able to avoid that rain of bullets earlier. But… You really shouldn't overlook my powers." She suddenly threw a bomb through a new portal. Sven started to look around franticly
Mika spun and watched in horror as the bomb appeared behind Eve. "E…" Mika and Sven yelled together. They were interrupted as, to everyone's shock; Eites suddenly kicked it high into the air.
"E-Eites!" Echidna gasped in shock.
"W-Why… why did you save me…?" Eve asked the monkey.
"L-Like I know! My body just moved on its own! Y-You know… Since you saved me earlier… well…" Eites said nervously.
Mika smiled. "Thank you." Eve smiled as well.
"EIIIIITES!" Echidna yelled angrily. "Why you… Do you intend to betray Creed after all he's done for you?! The only reason you got out of prison was because Creed saw your talent for the Tao!"
Eites gasped scared and hid behind Eve.
"I'm not through with you yet. Why are you risking your life doing all this for Creed?" Sven asked.
Before Echidna could ask there was a suddenly huge noise. They all froze and looked up towards the building. Echidna looked worried and Mika began to guess Echidna's reason for working for Creed.
"Wh… What's that?!" Sven gasped looking scared. A huge bright light that looked like a scary white face at the top of the building. Mika taped into her power of sight and noticed a small bullet shooting towards the light. It nailed the light and blew up. Everyone stared up in shock stunned as the big light shattered.
Mika grinned, but paused as she noticed movement. It was Creed; he was falling off the roof of the building. Luckily for him, Train grabbed his hand. "IT'S TRAIN!" Mika yelled. "HE'S GOT CREED!"
"What?!" Echidna, Sven, and Eve looked over at her.
"They're about to fall!" Mika gasped. She sighed in relief as the two started floating in the air as a little boy with blue hair on a snow board flew near them. Mika could guess that he was controlling the air. "They're okay…. A kid caught them with air."
"Leon?" Eve blinked.
That's it…. Train won…. Creed is defeated, it's all over. Mika sighed in relief and went down to her knee. Her back was hurting, and it hurt worse as Mika forced the wings back into her back. It's…. all over…. Mika smiled despite the pain.
