"I'm a little nervous." Mika whispered as Sven drove the car. It had taken eight months for her wings and back to heal up, most of which time she had spent in bed at Sven's safe house.

"Why are you nervous?" Eve asked, from the backseat. She was reading a book. "They are your family."

"That is the point." Mika sighed. "I don't remember them and it will be more like meeting strangers." She glanced back at Eve. The young girl had recently gotten her hair cut and it was now short. Mika smiled. Eve looked so cute like that.

"I'm sure everything will go fine." Train smiled. He was looking out the window, and his fixed gun was sitting on his lap. It had been broken in the fight with Creed and recently been fixed by Sven within the last week.

"Thank you for the support Train."

"You'll do fine." Sven smiled. "Don't worry about it."

Mika smiled over at him. "Sven…" She glanced out the window towards the town that her father and brother were currently staying in.

After a few they drove up and Sven stopped in front of a house. Mika stared up at it, wondering if this was the house she had grown up in. Sven turned off the car and got out. "You ready, Mika?"

She nodded and got out. Eve and Train followed her and Train stuck his gun in his holster. "Let's go." Mika smiled. "I'm ready." She grabbed Sven's hand and smiled. They walked up to the front door and Sven knocked.

After a minute the door opened. Mika watched as a man walked out. He looked to be about 28 and had messy black hair and green eyes. He looked straight at Sven, almost as if he hadn't seen Mika. "Sven?"

"Hello Kai." Sven smiled. "I wanted to introduce you to someone." He put his hand on Mika's shoulder and smiled.

Kai's eyes moved to Mika and he froze. "M-M-Mi…ka?" He whispered covering his mouth. "It can't be!" He gasped, tears coming to his eyes.

Mika looked up at him. She could see some similarities. His nose looked like hers. "Uh…He-Hello."

Kai threw his arms around her quickly and started to laugh. "My little sister!"

Mika instantly felt safe and she snuggled into his chest. It almost… almost felt familiar. It was like it was on the tip of her memories, but she couldn't pull it out. No matter how hard she tried she couldn't bring it out.

"Is your father home?" Sven asked.

Kai froze. "COME IN!" He practically pushed the four in. "DAD!" He called, sounding like a young child whose missing puppy had just come home.

"Kai, I was just starting to fall asleep." A man who looked like an older more tired version of Kai walked out, yawning. But the man's eyes moved instantly to Mika. "M-." He rushed forward and wrapped his arms around Mika. "My little Mika!"

If Mika had thought Kai's embrace felt great, then there were no words to describe this embrace. It brought a feeling of complete peace to her. "…F….Father..." She whispered.

Mika shifted, a little nervous. After being hugged for almost ten minutes by her father, Ikaru Titaru, before he had finally led them to the front living room. They had all sat down. Mika was sitting between her father and brother on the couch while Sven and Eve sat on the chairs across from them. Train was standing and leaning against the wall.

"I'm so glad that you were able to bring my sister home Sven." Kai smiled. "It has been 24 years since I've seen my little sister."

"24 years?" Mika gasped stunned. She shivered.

"What's wrong?" Ikaru asked.

"I wish… I wish I could remember… But all of my memories before I met my adopted father Sen, at age 8, are a complete blank."

"It's alright. You were so young at the time. I don't know many children or adults that remember their early years."

"Maybe you should tell Mika the story of how she was lost." Sven looked at Mika and smiled. "Maybe that will help her remember."

Ikaru nodded. "I met my beloved wife years ago and Kai was born twenty eight years ago. I loved my wife; she was a scientist trying to help the world… She worked hard every day, and it was hard. But then Mika was born and my lovely wife, Arina, did her best to slowly work towards becoming a stay at home mother. She wanted nothing more than to stay at home and look after her two children.

Then one day, when Mika was a small one year old, my wife never came home from work. I called her work, but none of them had seen her after she left. We searched for a whole month, but never found her." Ikaru looked down and sighed. "Mika and Kai both though that there was something else that had happened and caused her to disappear to."

"What do you know of her disappearance?" Train asked. "Who do you think took her?"

Ikaru smiled. "I was never certain… but part of me always blamed her team." He sighed. "And then…. A year after my Arina's disappearance, a bunch of men broke into our house suddenly and kidnapped Mika. She was only two at the time." Ikaru sighed. "I was shot and almost killed. I was very lucky; I'm sure the men who broke in thought that I was killed."

"But you weren't." Kai touched his dad's arm. "And now it doesn't matter, because we have Mika back. And we have so much lost time to make up for."

Mika smiled gently. "I hope I can regain some memories… but until I do, I want to spend lots of time with you… Sven, Train, Eve… Is it okay if we can stay here for a while?"

Sven nodded. "We all understand."

"Sure, why not." Train smiled.

Eve nodded. "You need time to get to know your family."

"Thank you." Mika smiled and looked at her father and brother. "Maybe someday I can find out what really happened, but until then I'm fine with how I am now. My life is starting to look up."

Ikaru smiled. "I hope that we find out what happened to you during those seven years… But until we do, I just want to get to know my little girl."

Mika nodded. "First off… I should let you know… I'm in love with Sven." She smiled. Everyone started laughing and Mika felt good. Everything is going to be good now…

"Have you found her yet?!" A man wearing a white lab coat yelled at his assistants. He fixed his glasses. "It has been too long since we've found anything!"

"No." The assistant sighed. "We still have had no luck… These last nine months she has been completely off our radar…. We knew she was traveling with three sweepers, but she left and since then we have been unable to find her."

"That Rikan! He failed! I told him to bring her back alive, and yet he just failed!"

"He was always a failure." The assistant sighed. "We brought him in too late and the dose we gave him was too weak."

"I know that!"

"We should have sent Kaim." The assistant frowned. "He would have gotten her back in no time."

"Yes I know." The scientist glanced out a window at the dark sky. One eye glowed blue and one glowed gold. "But let us send Kenji again… He had better luck last time. But this time I will give him a bigger commandment." The scientist frowned angrily. "He will bring her back this time!"

"Shall I go get him, sir?"

"Yes." The scientist waved his hand. "Go ahead." The assistant nodded and got up and then headed towards the door. "Oh! And go check on the prisoner, see how she is doing." He laughed. "Soon we will have our little kitten… Our little angel." He laughed.
