Mika shifted in her chains and looked in the direction of her mom's prison cell. She was fast asleep and Mika was trying to process everything they had talked about. According to her mom Zurui had been the lead scientist, and the one who had thrown Arina into the current cell she occupied. Zurui had then sent men to kidnap Mika, just to torture Arina. He had even done the most dangerous experiment.

Mika leaned back against the wall, wondering if she would ever get out… Ever see Sven again….

Mika shifted and froze, for a moment she could smell Zurui. She looked up as the lights flashed on and the scientist walked in. "Good morning." He smiled.

"Zurui…" Arina frowned as she sat up, having woken up when the lights went on. "What are you doing here?!"

"I brought some food for you." He held up two trays. He slid one into Arina's cell and the other into Mika's.

Mika glared at Zurui, but found her eyes being drawn towards Arina. She had messy, dirty long red hair. Her dull blue eyes were scanning Mika over as well. Mika felt angrier as she noticed how thin her mother was and how dirty and unhealthy she was. "YOU CRUEL MONSTER!" Mika yelled jumping up, knocking over her food tray and slamming against the cell bars, trying to reach Zurui. "HOW DARE YOU TREAT MY MOM LIKE THIS!"

Zurui chuckled. "So you do know who she is." He nodded as if he was making a mental note.

"Zurui… Why did you bring Mika here?" Arina frowned.

"Simple." Zurui said looking over at Arina. "I brought her home. She ran away from home, she needed to be disciplined."

Mika growled. "THIS IS NOT MY HOME!" She banged against the bars and paused as she noticed they had bent a little. My strength is returning!

Zurui seemed to notice as well and frowned. "Now young lady, calm down." He shook his head and unlocked the door, but stood far enough away that the chain around Mika's ankle kept her a few inches from him.

Mika tried to reach him, tried to break the chain, and tried to bring her wings out all at the same time. She could feel all three were on the verge of working when a pain suddenly exploded in her neck. "MIKA!" Arina yelled as Mika collapsed to the ground, placing a hand over the spot that hurt. Mika looked up weakly to see Zurui holding a needle in his hand. Whatever had been in the needle was now coursing through Mika's body.

"Y-You…." Mika moaned weakly. Her body was heating up and her anger was pulsing along with the dull throbbing in her neck.

Zurui couched down and gently brushed a hand on top of Mika's head, almost like the way Mika had pet cats before. "That's my good little kitty…. Go to sleep and rest, soon you won't remember any of this and you'll be safe and happy back home…"

Mika growled, but cried out as a new feeling rushed through her body, it was familiar. It was the same feeling she had when Zane had lied and said he killed Sven. It was complete anguish and a burning desire to destroy something… Her body was screaming for her just destroy everything and everyone in her path. Mika closed her eyes and screamed in anger and fear. But soon everything was dulling. Mika could faintly see herself lunging at Zurui and hearing a chain break, but she blacked out before she could recognize anything else.

Arina watched in shock as her daughter sprouted wings and her eyes glowed bright red. Mika had claws like a cat in place of her fingernails and her face was twisted in a ferocious murderous expression. Zurui didn't seem concerned at all as Mika lunged towards him. With precise movements Zurui dodged to the side at the last moment and pulled out another needle. He poked Mika in the arm and quickly inserted the medicine into her. "MIKA!" Arina yelled as her daughter slumped to the ground. She appeared to be passed out and her wings were drawing themselves back into Mika's back.

"Good girl." Zurui smirked and picked Mika up in his arms.

"ZURUI!" Arina yelled angrily as she gripped onto the bars of her cage. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER?!"

Zurui looked over. "I've controlled her." He ran a hand through her hair. "When she loses control like that her body's instincts take over and her memories fade… The shot I just gave her is something I've been working on for years. It shuts down her body and will bring back her memories from her childhood. It is thanks to your research in dormant memories." He smirked. "Thanks for that…. Mika will remember her years here living with me and training…. She will not remember anything from when she left and her most recent ones of you… She will not remember she even had a mother, a father, a brother… or a boyfriend."

"YOU MONSTER!" Arina yelled angrily as Zurui left with Mika. "MIKA! MIKA!" Tears poured down Arina's face as she banged on her cell bars, desperately trying to get to her daughter. She banged on the bars weakly. Her energy was failing her. She slumped down to the floor crying. "Mika… Mika… M-Mi…" Arina buried her face in her hands crying uncontrollably.
