As I drive over to the prison I have a thought that Maybe that it was for the best. The man how tried to kill my wife was no more. I was glad but really annoyed as he would not rot. Would not spend time in prison.
At the prison the guards tell me the was nothing that could have been done. He was on suicide watch but some how had managed to kill him self.
"Ok thanks"
I leave the prison, I was late but I still had time to go and see Millie before I headed back to sun hill.
Entering the hospital I take the biggest bunch of flowers all though the amount that she all ready has she could open a shop. Taking me aside the doctor tells me that they are discharging her.
Walking out with Millie, suddenly she stop by the car.
"you just had to come in that car!" she says with a sort of frown on her face. I had come in the two door sports car.
"Are you going to help me get out at home?" she asks once we were in the car. I just smile at her and sped of towards our home.
Four months later
Millie is back at work. all be it on light duties. For now I am happy that she is safe and sound with in the station.
