Kasey was stunned on what had happened. After hitting the portal wall, herself and the Rahkshi had landed hard on the ground, that must have caused some chaos, because the second they hit, there was a couple of screams and gasps. Freeing herself from the monsters grip, she dashed off in the opposite direction. Damnit, damnit, damnit! Kasey thought as she rounded a corner, hearing the angry screech of the Rahkshi. Various shades of brown and tan, tiny robots lept out of the way to avoid the teen who was running at top speed, pursued by the brown Rahkshi. Kasey turned her head to see that beast was flying.

"What the-!? Hey! That ain't fair!" Kasey said, grabbing what looked like a ball and chucked it at the Rahkshi. It bounced off its head with a satisfying clang. The beast shook its head, still flying, and again let out a defiant screech. "Well…. That didn't go as I would have liked…" Kasey muttered, hoping that she didn't tire to soon.

Pohatu looked at the scared Matoran. He had just been informed that a Panrahk was in Po-Metru. What had got him was the fact that a gold-bronze and metallic blue colored Toa was being chased by it. From what he was told, the toa was heading towards the steep cliff at the bottom, if the Toa made it there, he would have a long climb ahead of him.

"Don't worry, inform Turaga Owena that I've got it. And make sure no other Matoran were hurt." Pohatu told the Matoran, who nodded and took off. The Toa of Stone looked at the cliff face in the distance, wondering how a Toa could have gotten past Gali and Lewa.

Kasey was a surprising distance from the town that she landed in. She didn't care at that point, all she was concerned about was that there was plenty of distance between her and the Rahkshi. But Kasey's hopes were dashed at the sight of a cliff face, and a very steep one, too. Kasey gulped as she looked upwards, taking in on how high it was.

"Well then…. better start climbing…" Kasey muttered nervously to herself, reaching up and grabbing the nearest, stable stone. Her climb had begun. By the time she was a good thirty feet, the Rahkshi was at the base. "Come get me now, you son-of-a!" A blast missed her face but mere inches. "...never mind…" Kasey said, eyes wide. The Rahkshi seemed to be glaring at her, its beady little eyes boring holes into the back of her head before it let out a screech, then slammed it's staff into the ground and shot a beam out of it's top at her. Kasey's eyes widened even more as the rocks above her fell down, loosening the ones that she had a hold of.

Pohatu suddenly heard a scream, and the unmistakable sound of falling rocks. He would have loved the sound. But the scream made him tense up. Still using his Mask of Speed, he tried to quicken his pace. He only hoped that he wasn't too late. The base of the cliff was finally in his sight. Pohatu could make out the Panrahk and a mound of rocks. The rocks moved, indicating that someone was under them, and alive. When the rocks shot upwards, giving him a complete shock, a female Toa stepped out of the mound and glared hotly at the Panrahk. Pohatu blinked and stopped a good fifty feet away from the two of them.

"Umm, sister, do you need some help?" he asked as he looked between the two of them. The Toa didn't seem to hear him, but she did notice him, looking right at him. She raised an eyebrow and tilted her head. But before she could say anything, the Rahkshi ponced, pinning the Toa to the ground.

Kacey squealed at the impact to the ground. This thing wasn't going to give up to easy.

"HEY! OVER HERE BEAST!" The tall tan robot hollered, kicking a volleyball sized rock at its head. Another satisfying clang, and what looked like a dent to the head. The Rahkshi screeched in pain. Kasey took her chance's, thinking that it was the only way. She slapped her hands where she thought the ears where. Results were surprising. The beast immediately let go, screeching in pain and covering its ears. Then more rocks hit it in the face, forcing it to the ground, twitching. Tiredness suddenly hazed the teens mind, and the tan robots voice sounded, asking her if she was alright. Unconsciousness welcomed Kasey in open arms.

Well, it's off to another day exploring the Archives, Takanuva thought as he entered the Onu-Metru sector and stepped on the elevator. Ever since the six villages had moved back to Metru Nui, Takanuva had been the only one who wasn't assigned a 'sector' to patrol. Because of this, he usually travelled from Metru to Metru helping out the Matoran when the Toa were busy elsewhere. He didn't mind this, though. After all, he was allowed to visit all of Metru Nui without getting into trouble, unlike back when he was on Mata Nui, so that was a big plus for him. Still, I wish that there was more things happening, he thought as he stepped off of the elevator and began heading to the Fikou Web Network when he heard a shout behind him. Turning around, he saw the top two Onu-Matoran guards, Damek and Kaj, running over to him.

"Damek, Kaj, how's the excavation going?" He asked as they stopped in front of him.

"Meh, it's been the same old, same old," Damek said as he looked around and handled his Kanoka Disk so it was ready to throw. "That is, until about a week ago." Takanuva's eyes narrowed at this statement. While there was the uncommon case of a Rahi horde attacking the excavators, the patrols had little difficulty taking care of them, especially with the new Kanoka disks. If the patrols had difficulty with this, then that means there was something big down there. "What's been going on?"

"You best come with us. Toa Onua and Bomonga were just about to lead an exploration team. From what I've seen, they'll definitely be needing your help."

Onua sat in silence as he sat near the entrance to the deep Archives with Bomonga, Dosne, and three other guards as they waited for the last of the squad to arrive.

"So, Bomonga," Onua asked as he turned his head to the pacing Rahaga. Bomonga looked at the Earth Toa, wondering what he had to ask. "Do you have any idea of what this possibly is?"

Bomonga shook his head. "No. Whatever it is, it's powerful. Dangerous." Onua became quiet at this statement. Sudden foot falls told them that last of the squad was nearby. Soon, Damek and Kaj returned with a warm surprise to the team: Takanuva.

"Brother, what a welcoming surprise! So you've come to help?" Onua asked him, standing to greet the Toa of Light. Takanuva smiled lightly, seeing that the Toa of Earth was still enthusiastic as always. But before he could say anything, there was sudden coughing, startling the two Toa, Rahaga, and the rest of the squad. Everyone was now tense and ready to fight, unsure of what made the coughing sound. Bomonga turned on his light, to brighten the direction that the cough sounded. Much to their surprise, a Toa of Iron stood before them, with a "deer in the headlights" expression. His dark golden "pupil" unfocused and brought his hand up to block the light.

"Oi…. Kindly turn off the light…." He said, sounding a bit hoarse, as if someone or something punched him in the gut or throat really hard. Onua was the first to notice his wound.

"Brother, what did this to you?" Onua asked him, approaching the wounded Toa. Grimacing, he looked back from the direction that he had come.

"You probably wouldn't believe my story if I told ya. Bloody hell, I still don't believe it." He replied to Onua, looking at him. His form seemed to waver, shirking, and revealing a adult human. "Cheeky that kid…. Cheeky.." He muttered, before collapsing. Onua, Takanuva, and Bomanga started at him. Onua looked to the others.

"I'll take him to Turaga Whenua, you two take the squad and figure out who did this to him." Onua said, taking the male carefully by the arm and lifting it over his shoulder.

"Understood." Takanuva said, then turned to the others gathered there and said, "Alright, everyone, let's move out!" With a bellow in reply, the Matoran began to enter the Deep Archives.

"Takanuva." Bomonga said, activating is rotors to keep up with them. Takanuva looked at the Rahaga as he flew next to him and pointed his staff at the tunnel. "We best stick together. There's much strength in numbers." Takanuva nodded, but something bothered him.

"What do you think he meant when he said 'Cheeky that kid'? He asked the Rahaga of Earth. He looked ahead, deep in thought.

"I believe that it's one of those "humans" that you've told me so much about…" Bomonga answered truthfully. "But I may be wrong."

The light lit the pathway of the tunnel, I ducked behind a stasis tube as my prey turned around to check for anything. I've been hunting this scum for the last few days, and it's been really tough for me to track. As it stopped looking around, I quickly took stock of my Kanoka Disk supply. A nagging voice spoke softly in my head. Kill the Matoran. Kill them all!

Brother, why are you attacking innocent Matoran? Spoke another, female, pleading. Please stop this! Ignore her, kill them! They are the servants of your most hated enemy! Shaking my head to stop the voices temporarily, I took out a Regenerate disk, then aimed it at the pillar right beneath it when I realized that it had left the area. I growled in annoyance at losing it again, then realized that some voices were coming closer. Well, even if I lost the prey, I can still get a few of HIS vessels, I thought as I picked up my staff and prepared to move position.

Leave them! They've done no harm to you! The female's voice pleaded again, having an air of famierance to it.

Fool, are you weak or are you going to survive?! The male voice said in a partially commanding tone. Get rid of them!

Agreed, I thought, then loaded the disk launcher and headed out. For I will NOT fall. The female's pleading voice was drowned out by the male's commanding one. As I left my position and began to close in on the voices, only one thought went through my head:

Let the hunt… begin.

Takanuva suddenly felt uneasy. Something was close by, and whatever it was, it dulled the light that Bomonga had, and the shadows seemed to swallow the remaining light from the lightstones on the walls.

"Stop." Bomonga said as he stopped walking and readied his Rhotuka launcher. The Matoran, now realizing that something was wrong, stopped and looked to Bomonga for orders. He narrowed his eyes as he looked to the sides. "It's coming." Takanuva wasn't sure what he meant, but it felt like the opposite of of his own power was coming. Gripping his staff so it was ready to strike, he used his Mask of Light to start to light up the area when he saw the dull glint of a Kanoka disk launcher pointed at Damek. Takanuva acted only out of instinct, he quickly shot a beam of light just as the disk was launched. The beam knocked Damek out of the way just in time, as the disk shot harmlessly by them and hit a broken stasis tube and the tube began to repair itself. Takanuva glared from where the disk came from, noting that footfalls were coming towards the steps came closer, he began to hear a song being sung in a childish voice:

"Ring around the Matoran,

A backpack full of Kanohi,

Slashing, smashing,

They'll all fall down."

Takanuva was now becoming very nervous, remembering how Sydney told him some old, childish rhymes that young children would sing. 'If not crazy people too...' Were her words to him when he asked her about her world's strange culture. After the song had been sung a fifth time, both the song and the steps stopped for a few seconds, then one of the Matoran let out a scream as an arm made of darkness grabbed his leg and threw him at the wall. Takanuva swung his staff at the arm, striking it. The shadowy arm retreated, only to attack again and aim directly at Takanuva. Takanuva jumped out of the way as the arm slammed into the ground, then shot a ball of light in the air, causing for the arm to disperse and for the enemy to finally be revealed. The figure, realizing that he had been discovered, gave a toothy grin and exclaimed with great enthusiasm, "Heeeere's Mikey!"

"Kra-Toa!" Bomonga gasped, staring in horror at his black and dark grey armor. Takanuva stared at his blood red eyes, noticing that there seemed to be in conflict in them, then the eyes became more focused.

"You've answered correctly!," the Kra-Toa said, then a Rhotuka launcher popped up on his shoulder and aimed it at the Rahaga. "For that, sir, you get a free RHOTUKA TO THE FACE!"

"Down!" Bomonga ordered as the launcher began charging, and the group obeyed without any hesitation as the Rhotuka disk flew over their heads and flew towards a support beam. As it hit the beam, the beam became black for a few seconds, and then it began to shrink until there was no more of it.

"Awww, it missed." The Kra-Toa said in disappointment and looked sad for a few seconds, then visibly brightened and said, "Well, at least there's still the consolation prize!"

"Everyone, run!" Takanuva shouted, and the group got up and began to run, heading back towards the surface.

"As Oprah would say:" The male said as he took a Panrahk staff out, then aimed it at Dosne, who was straggling behind the others. He gripped the staff with both hands, and quipped "You get a destruction blast - " Takanuva grabbed Dosne and pulled him out of the way just in time, the blast from the staff would have killed the Matoran, "-And you get a disintegration blast-" The second blast just barely missed Nuparu as he tripped and fell. After this, the Kra-Toa lifted the staff and began spinning it wildly, then shouted, "-EVERYONE GETS A DISINTEGRATION BLAST!", and let the staff fire wildly in all directions.

"This way!" Bomonga said as he waited at the exit. As the Matoran started to enter, the cave system began to collapse due to lack of structural support.

Michael grinned as he watched his prey try to escape from him.

You ain't getting away that easily! he thought as he was about to chase after them when he felt the ground begin to give out underneath him. He frowned as he realized that he didn't have much time left.

Use your Rhotuka to create a portal. That way, you'll be able to escape. The male voice told him as he dodged a slab of stone that fell near his position.

Brother, please, stop this madness! The female voice begged as he readied his Rhotuka launcher. Are you truly willing fall to-

Shut it, woman! The male voice shouted at her. You're not the one in control here!

"Oi, cut it out, you two!" Michael said as he fired the Rhotuka at the wall, and ran at the portal. "You're both giving me a headache." Once he had entered the portal, he could barely see in front of his hands for a few seconds, then it began to lighten up until he could see roughly eight to ten feet away. Let's see, Michael mused as he began to calculate how many steps he had to take, If my prey was 30 feet by 5 feet away, and my steps are 3 feet per step, then it should take me roughly 12 steps for me to escape. Michael took 11 steps forward, turned left, then took three steps and then stopped.

"This should be about right." Michael muttered, then shot his Rhotuka launcher forward for three feet before it activated and a portal appeared in front of him. It's showtime, he thought, then ran at the portal and came out to find his prey running right at him. The smaller prey screamed as he appeared, which is something that he thought never got old, and then he grinned with a smile from cheek to cheek and said, "Did you forget about me?"

NO! The women's voice cried, as if desperate to stop him from hurting anymore of his prey. At the same time, the man's voice shouted out in glee, Yes. Yes! YES!You PROMISED Michael! You promised me! You promised that you would fight him!

Wha- Michael's head started to hurt as he thought about what he had just heard. Who exactly was this voice? Had he promised her something?

Takanuva glared at the Kra-Toa, who had been grinning psychotically at them, now frowning. Again, his eyes seemed once again unfocused, as if in conflict with his inner self.

"Bomonga, take the others to the surface. I'll take care of this." Takanuva growled. readying his staff. The Rahaga looked at Takanuva and nodded, concerned for what the Toa of shadow had going through his head. "And try to get any of the other Toa down here to help." The Toa of Light also stated, looking over his shoulder slightly toward Bomonga.

"And you?" The Rahaga asked nervously. The Kra-Toa looked like he was on the edge, ready to explode, his eyes more unfocused than before.

"I'll fight him off the best I can, hopefully figure out what in Mata Nui's name has driven him to this point." Takanuva answered him, eyes still narrowed at the Shadow Toa. He seemed to be refocused, and now was glaring back at the Light Toa.

"I know who you are, Son of Mata Nui." The Toa said as he gripped his staff and his Kanoka disk launcher and prepared to attack him. "Now DIE!" Takanuva barely had the time to dodge the blow that the Toa had delivered to him when a screech reverberated through the tunnel. Takanuva twisted around towards the source to find a Rahkshi of Heat Vision jump down in front of the Matoran and began to charge at them.

"Ah, so my original prey returns." The Shadow Toa said as he held his staff like a spear, then threw it at the Rahkshi. This is not my day at all… Takanuva thought, looking at the two of them fight. Then it hit him. Why would someone who truly followed Makuta fight with one of his sons, let alone go against them? Maybe, he's being controlled by the Makuta! With this in mind, Takanuva quickly came up with a plan to defeat both of his enemies, then turned to Bomonga and asked him, "Bomonga, can you trap the Kra-Toa temporarily when I give a signal?" Bomonga looked at him as if he was crazy.

"And if he breaks free?" He asked.

"We free him, he's not with the Makuta." Takanuva told him. Bomonga snorted at this.

"A Kra-Toa that's not with the Makuta? Please, that's just as likely as a water-loving Po-Matoran!"

"But didn't you notice his eyes when he reappeared? It was like he was trying to fight something." Takanuva retorted. Bomonga contemplated this for a while, then sighed.

"Very well." Bomonga said, still sounding a little doubtful. Takanuva looked to the Matoran.

"Get ready for the signal." Takanuva said, then charged the two combatants and cried out, "Rahkshi, Kra-Toa!" The two stopped fighting for just a second to see Takanuva charging them head-on, then the two separated and backed away for a short distance.

Michael growled as he saw the Toa jump into the middle of his fight. What's he doing? This is my fight!

Ah, well. He thought as he took his staff and split it into two daggers. All the more pain to spread! The Toa of Light seemed startled by this, but continued his charge.

FOOL! The male's voice shouted as Michael blocked the Toa's strike and took a swing at the Rahkshi. What are you DOING?! Stop fighting them both and help the Rahkshi take down the Av-Toa!

No! Fight the Rahkshi! Fight him! He's the reason why we're all here! The female's voice said as he shot a Freeze Kanoka disk at Takanuva while sliding under the Rahkshi's legs and avoiding the heat blast aimed at his previous position.

While the two voices continued quarrelling, Michael grabbed his head as pain shook through it. Shut up, shut up, shutupshutupshutupSHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUP-

As he fell to his knees, he lifted his head up to the 'heavens' and yelled out from the pain, "SHUT UP!"

Takanuva looked at the Kra-Toa in surprise, but his suspicions were confirmed. The real Kra-Toa was at war with something in his mind. Clearly knowing that he wasn't going to get up soon, Takanuva turned his full attention to the Rahkshi.

"Now! Trap him!" Bomonga and the Matoran obliged, and the Earth Rahaga shot a spinner at the Kra-Toa, causing for him to be covered in a thick layer of earth except for his head. Takanuva swept his staff downwards to trip up the Rahkshi, then ran over to the Kra-Toa who was now struggling to escape.

"Easy brother! Let me help you!" Takanuva said, keeping his staff in hand. He only kept struggling, his eyes squinched shut, mumbling the same thing over and over; "Shut up, get out, get out, shut up." Takanuva looked at him, realising that he may have no other choice if this didn't work. Taking a deep breath to collect himself, he then put his hands on the sides of the Kra-Toa's head, then focused his power into his hands in an attempt to purge whatever was affecting his brother Toa. Be at peace, brother.

Michael roared in pain as he felt a wave of something go back and forth in his head.

NOOOO! The male's voice cried out as Michael felt it become fainter and fainter in his head. So close. I was so close!

Leave….. And don't come back Makuta! The female's voice said, and it clicked in Michael's head. Sydney, he thought, and his mind turned to an old, but familiar memory of the two first meeting up for a Biology project…

/Flashback - Begin!/

Michael was sitting at one of the 6 lab tables in Mr. Adam's room. He hated being the new kid, no one was really talking to him. Sure, he had been drawing a Bionicle in his binder, but that didn't mean that the other kids had to label him as an outcast.

"Hi!" A pipey voice made him look up. A girl with brown eyes and short hair stood a couple of feet away from him, clutching an overloaded green binder, a light blue and dark blue binder. "Wanna be partners?" She asked politely to him.

"... Sure." Michael said as he closed his notebook and grabbed his purple notebook he used for Biology. The girl quizzically looked at him.

"You like Bionicles, too?" The question was so sudden that he looked at her in shock. "It's ok, I like them too. Want to see my drawings of them?" She said quickly, seeing that he was shocked and a little suspicious from her earlier statement. Before Michael could answer, she pulled out several papers, and handed them to him. His eyes widened at the sight of hordika like Bionicles. "I made them look a little more organic…" She muttered, looking down. "And I really loved the Hordika saga."

Michael stopped staring as he began to realize that he wasn't the only 'outcast' in the school. He began to smile, then took out his notebook he was working on earlier and replied. "Meh, having them be organic gives them a bit of a realistic look. Well, at least that's what I think, anyways." He said as he flipped from page to page with the girl looking at them with an eager look in her eyes. "Though for the record, I think that the Inika saga was the best." She chuckled.

"The Piraka Rap was cool, though it didn't stick for me. And the Mahri saga made me cry in the end, may Matoro rest in peace." She told him. "Oh, names Sydney by the way. Sydney A.R. Watson."

"Michael, Michael Black." Michael said as he took the pre-offered hand and shook it. Sydney smiled, but then frowned, and looked around cautiously.

"Can I tell you something? You've got to promise you won't tell anyone." She said hurriedly. Michael looked around the room, checking to see if no one was paying attention. He turned his head back to her and then nodded to show his agreement. Sydney then grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil, and wrote down something., and handing the paper casually to him. Michael looked at the paper and read; The Toa Nuva are real. Michael looked blankly at it, then reread it four times to make sure he read it right. He looked up at Sydney, then shook his head and threw the paper back at Sydney. "You honestly expect for me to believe that?" Sydney frowned looking a bit down.

"I have a photo to ya know, if you want to see it…." She muttered, looking down. "But it's ok, no one would believe me if I told 'em" She said looking back up, "Sorry, though."

Michael's face softened as he saw Sydney's downtrodden face, then sighed. "Look, I'm as big of a fan of Bionicle as you are, and I'd really like to see that Bionicles really exist. However, unless you can provide me some actual evidence instead of just this statement, then I'd believe it a bit more." Sydney nodded, understanding, then looked outside and made a horrified face. Michael heard her mutter softly; "Oh dear lord, they followed me."

With confusion written all over his face, Michael looked out the window just in time to see something bright green duck under the window sill, something yellow dive behind a truck and a blue object behind a minivan. Nah, it couldn't be, Michael thought as he took out a pair of glasses he used to see objects that were far away and put them on. Could it? Sure enough, the green thing peeked back up and then shot back down, seeing that he was still looking out. Michael's eyes widened. No way, Michael though as he looked back at Sydney, who was glancing at the other students and was mouthing the words; Go home! Someone might see you!

"Sydney, is there something wrong?" Mr. Adam asked, seeing that the teenager was looking terrified.

"No Mr. Adam, it's nothing just remembered something, thats all." She said meekly, looking abogectic to the teacher. Michael looked at Sydney, then back out the window just as the green figure poked his head up again, only for a red hand to grab him and pull him back down.

/Flashback - End!/

"She wasn't lying…." I muttered, feeling suddenly very tired. Sydney's voice was now gone, and Takanuva was looking curiously at him. Grinning lightly at the Toa of Light and eyes heavy, I told him; "Sydney wasn't lying…." The world went black, but not before he saw Takanuva's eyes widen in realization of his friend's name.

Takanuva's eyes widened even more as he watched the now unconscious Kra-Toa shimmer for a second, then shrink until the only thing in the earth pile was a boy with shortish black hair and black triangular markings just below his eyes.

"Bomonga, help me get him out." He said, looking over his shoulder to look at the earth Rahaga. Bomonga looked curiously at the kid.

"Is this another one of those 'humans'? He's smaller than the other one that we saw." Bomonga asked, studying his organic features, and freeing him from the earth that covered him

"From what I can tell, he's only a teenager, younger than the other one." Takanuva said, lifting him up. I hope that this is the end of the craziness.. Takanuva thought, sincerely hoping that it was.

Toa-of-Spirit: Well another chapter done! Again please thank Thanatos's Scribe for helping me out. Now all six of the humans are at the Coliseum, and waking one by one, they meet each other. Friends are made and reunited. But will they discover what has happened to them? Sure enough, chao's will be insured. Anything you'd like Thanatos's to say?... Thanatos's?

Takanuva: He left a little while ago…. ^^;

Toa-of-Spirit: Ahhh, didn't know that… Ah well…. should be getting to updating the other stories TT^TT running out of ideas….. Hey Taka-chan, what ever happened to Pohatu?

Takanuva: Jessica I think is still chasing him.

Toa-of-Spirit: Dang, I feel bad for him. I'm not sure the next time that I see him if I should warn him about Jessie having a baseball bat….

Kopaka: Doubt that you'll find him… went into hiding somewhere.

Gali: I had a feeling that this was going to happen to him. Told him not to do it, but does he listen?

Lewa: Yes?

Toa-of-Spirit: OHNOES! DD88 *runs away in fear*

Lewa: O_o why'd she quick-run?
