After walking around, for a few more hours, i found some civilisation. Great! I had mortal money and Greek drachmas. So, I walked into a wallmark and just got some food, that would last me a few days, hopefully, I paid, before I walked out to a park and ate. The funny thing is, you don't realise how hungry or thirsty you are, until you eat or drink. So, I was starving. To say the least.
"Hey, are you okay?" I heard a female voice ask. I rolled my eyes.
"Fine, why'd you ask?"
"Well, you have a sword in your bag and you're eating a salad, in a park"
"You can see my sword. Demigod, monster, god or what?" I questioned.
"Er, no." Then It hit me, like a big bag of bricks, some mortals could see though the mist! Why didn't I ever realise that?! I was thick at times.
"Right, mortal." I mumbled, this girl who could see though the mist had ginger wild hair and brilliant green eyes.
"You're the second person who asked me that." I raised an brow.
"Anyone called Perseus Jackson asked that?"
"A Percy Jackson." I nodded, rolling my eyes.
"Yeah, typical." I mumbled. "I'm Persephone Jackson, call me Peri." I smiled weakly.
"Rachel Elizabeth Dare."
"Great meeting you." I mumbled and decided to finish eating. Rachel smiled and walked off and I walked to a payphone. I phoned home, sighing.
"Hello?" An unfamiliar voice asked.
"Er, is Sally Jackson there?" I asked. The guy sounded old.
"Yeah, right here." I then heard footsteps.
"Hello?" Mum asked. I smiled slightly.
"Hi, mum, er, I kinda have a problem. But you're on a date, so I'll leave you be." I said quietly, before I hang up without an answer. I sighed, I didn't want to be an annoying kid, but I was lost, too weak and I was scared for Percy. What if he got hurt? What if Luke got hurt? I started walking around, this would be a fun few days...
After a few days, I had arrived in California. I had hitch hicked, walked, shadow traveled. Eh, I even jumped the subway. Now, I was here. I felt drawn to here. I did more walking and looked around. I was in an old area full of trees, then I saw a building. It looked over a hundred years old. I decided to stay here for the night. I lay on the cold stone cold and closed my eyes, hopefully nothing bad will happen...

I'm sorry for my lack of updates, but I've just started my exams, I had my French foundation AQA today. It was hell. So I wrote most of this to relax. I know it's short but At least I update.
