Chapter 12: Morning Hugs And Goodnight Kisses Part 3

~A Few Days Later~

"I'm going to kill you!" Ivy yelled as she threw a pillow at his head.

"Will you please calm down? You're not making anything better by being mad at me. Besides you had a part in it too." Hody said flatly.

"Are you kidding me?! You're the one that came to me!" Ivy yelled in rage as she threw another pillow at him.

"That doesn't mean anything; you had every right to turn me away." Hody said.

"Oh really, Mr. I'm-not-gonna-let-you-go-so-easily?" Ivy said as she rolled her eyes.

"You still never said that you wanted me to stop!" Hody said in annoyance.

"Knock it off you two! What the hell is going on in here?" Honey asked giving them both a stern look.

"We just found out that we'll be having..." Hody said but was cut short by the pillow that hit him in the face.

"I wanted to speak with you personally about my choice of staying here permanently, if that's okay with you?" Ivy asked with a forced smile.

"Of course you can stay here permanently, but you have to help around the house especially with the extra member that should be coming in about 8 or 9 months." Honey said with a bright smile.

Ivy was once again gob smacked by Honey and her special ability to figure out things on her own. Ivy sulked into her big bed and groaned in frustration.

"Now, now, there is no need for all of that. Do you want to keep the baby?" Honey asked simply as she sat next to Ivy on the bed while Hody watched.

"Of course I do." Ivy said with a small smile.

"I don't even have to ask you because I know you're a sucker for children. So then, what's the problem? Both of you want the child so what could be wrong?" Honey asked with a look of confusion.

"I'm scared to have a baby. You have to protect it, give birth to it, and make sure it's happy. What if I'm a terrible mother or I completely freak out when my water breaks? What if people hurt my baby because it's both human and fishman?" Ivy asked as she began to panic. Honey laughed at the young girl.

"This baby will always be happy with you two around and you will not be a bad mother. This child may change the world one day because of their background. How many children can say they have human and fishman blood in their bodies?" Honey asked with a smile.

"Plus you'll have me there with you when you have the baby, you'll be fine." Hody said as he smiled at Ivy.

"Yeah, you're right." Ivy said as she calmed her rapidly beating heart.

"I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMOTHER!" Honey yelled in excitement.

"There she goes." Hody mumbled as his mother did a happy dance and pranced out of the room to tell the whole world.

"Should I be scared?" Ivy asked Hody.

"Be ready to be pampered and spoiled rotten because that is exactly what's about to happen." Hody said with a grin.

"Oh dear god." Ivy said as she fell back on her back.

~One Month Later/Doctor's Office~

"You're doing great. Everything is as it should be. Do you have any questions?" The doctor asked as she finished checking Ivy.

"No, all of the questions we have will come when I get close to 5 months." Ivy said as she laughed.

"Well I will see you again next month. Make sure you take all of your vitamins and keep away from too many snacks. If you have any problems or concerns please call me." The doctor told her as they both left.

"8 more months to go." Hody said with a smile as they walked hand in hand.

"I can't wait until the baby gets here. I get overly excited just thinking about it." Ivy said with a big smile.

"That'd be too cute of the baby looked like mom." Hody said with a faraway look in his eyes.

"I could just imagine how adorable that would be." Ivy said as they soon reached their home.

"Welcome back!" Honey yelled from the kitchen.

"How'd everything go? Is the baby doing well?" Honey asked.

"The baby is fine, but I am starving." Hody said as he smelt her cooking.

"Your plates are on the table, have a ball." Honey said while laughing as her son practically ran to the kitchen.

"The same as always." Ivy said as she rolled her eyes.

"We better get moving before he gets to it all before we do." Honey said as they walked back to the kitchen.

Yes, I know this chapter is not that long but sue me. It's 8:00 in the morning and I have been up since 12:00 midnight writing chapters for all of my other stories too. See ya guys next chapter! XD
