Lucy

So warm. I never want to leave this bed. Ever. Something pulls me closer to the warmth and a sigh escapes me. Natsu must have crept into my room again. Wait, he can't have I'm not home. My eyes snap open and latch onto the arm around my waist. My gaze follows the arm to it's owner. Jace smirks at me. I small squeak echoes through the room as I roll over and fall out of bed.

"Good morning to you to Blondie." Jace laughs. I rub my posterior, sit up and glare at him.

"You said you wouldn't try anything."

"Technically I didn't try anything I just did it." That god forsaken smirk appears on his handsome face. If only looks could kill, Jace would be bloody and torn to many tiny pieces by now.

"Well don't just do it!" I shout in anger my face reddening. Jace just shrugs his shoulders stands up and walks over to his walk in wardrobe. That pompous perverted jerk! He thinks he can get away with anything. Sighing I take a seat on the bed. I have to get out of here but I don't have my keys, I'm defenceless. There is a window I could probably jump out of that and make a run for it but Jace would catch me before I even open the dam thing.

"What are you thinking about Lucy?" Jace whispers in my ear. Shivers run down my spine as his soft hair brushes my cheek. He's to close. I spin around and push him away.

"No...nothing!" Why am I so nervous? My stomach flutters as his dark eyes gaze into mine.

"I don't think it was nothing Lucy." The way he says my name stops the flutter and turns it into a hurricane. "Don't tell me you were think of that dragon slayer?" All feelings of hurricanes and my blush disappear with that one sentence. Natsu.

"No, I wasn't thinking of Natsu." Jace places a calloused hand against my cheek, using his thumb to wipe the tears I didn't know had escaped.

"Don't cry over the likes of him. He does not deserve you." I nod.

"Now tell me what you were thinking." I new sweet Jace was to good to be true. I pull away from him.

"I said it was nothing. And it's non of you business any way." Jace stands and glides to the door.

"Fine fine, you must be hungry I'll go and get breakfast." This could be my chance to get away. Although I don't know how long Jace will be gone but it will have to do.

"Do not leave this room Lucy. I can tell what you are planning and I will only warn you once. I cannot protect you from all the men of this guild. If you leave this room without me, you're fair game to them. Do you understand?" Ok he sounds very serious about this. Well there goes my plan.

"Yes." I say in defeat.

"Good. I'll be back as soon as I can."

"Jace, make the preparations for the extraction. Phase two has begun." A smile slowly spreads across Mater Waru's wrinkled face.

"Yes Master I will get Lucy ready." Jace replies evenly bowing in respect for his malevolent Master.

"I must say Jace I am impressed with you. You have managed to gain that girls trust quite easily. She is either stupid or you are as conniving as I am." Master Waru laughs huskily, as though he has been deprived of water. Jace locks eyes with his Master.

"It's all part of the plan Master." Jace says with his trade mark smirk.

Jace returned a while later holding a tray of waffles and orange juice. I give him a weird look.

"So dark guild have waffle for breakfast too?" I ask trying to contain my laughter.

"Yes we do and if you do not want them I'm quite happy to..."

"No! No I'll eat them. I love waffles." I smile just as my stomach rumbles from lack of nourishment. I blush from embarrassment.

"And it appears that you are also hungry. Here." Jace says while chuckling. I thank him and quickly eat the delicious food. But I don't get half way before I start feeling dizzy. I place a hand to my head in hopes of stopping the spinning. I look to Jace for help but to see him smiling in satisfaction. Swaying slightly the tray falls to the floor with a crash, not soon after I feel my body follow. Strong arms catch me before I hit the ground. My mind tumbles in and out of consciousness.

"Goodnight Blondie." The blackness finally consumes me.

I know it's short but I am having a problem with writers block. If anyone has ideas please review them or PM me. They may help me get out of my writers block. And I am extremely sorry for the long wait.
