Hi guys, I should be able to get chapters to you much quicker now because I just got an iPad mini for when I don't have time to get on the computer. Hopefully, this will eliminate all of the problems with me not being able to update regularly since I can take it with me anywhere I go. I hope you all like the chapter and remember to tell me if you see any errors.

Chapter 18: A Damsel In Distress? Part 1

Who would have thought that it all would have ending up like this? A cold dungeon, shackles on her wrist and ankles, dry blood on the damp concrete floor, and hidden deep underground the Fishman District. Of all of the places she could have been taken to, of all of the days this could have happened, today was the day. Hot tears leaked from her dry red eyes that threatened to close as she felt like sleeping away all her troubles in hopes that she would wake up in their hotel room bed beside him. Although, she knew it was no use, she had already tried and was proven wrong several times. She wondered if anyone was looking for her and if the others were okay as she lay on the worn out mattress on the dungeon floor.

~Flashback~

Ivy smiled cheerfully as she held up the cute baby clothes that she decided to buy for her two unborn children. Just as she was about to pick up another outfit she saw a large shadow looming over here. Before she could turn around to see who it was her mouth was covered and she was carried out of the store through the back door.

"Hey, what's the big idea you asshole?!" Ivy yelled as she threw a punch at the persons face not caring that they could drop her.

"Is that any way to treat your father-in-law?" The man asked in a deep voice that slightly sounded a lot like Hody's.

"What? Father-in-law?" Ivy asked as she finally got a good look at his face.

She was in shock at how much they both looked alike. The only difference between them was their hair color, and the fact that Hody (the father) had facial features that were true to his age.

"Too shocked to talk?" Hody asked with a smirk.

"Aren't you supposed to be dead?!" Ivy asked in confusion.

"Yeah I was but I got saved by Straw Hat a few years ago. He gave me a deal that allowed me to live as long as I got along with humans and learned to understand them better. At first I was gonna just let them kill me but, I tried to do it for my family's sake." Hody said as he continued to run throughout the back streets.

"Well you made a good choice, I'm pretty sure Hody would be very proud of you when I tell him." Ivy said as she smiled up at him despite the awkward facial expression he was making at her.

"You mean if you tell him?" One Fishman said as they began to charge at Hody and Ivy.

~End Of Flashback~

Yep that's all how it began.

"You still crying girly?!" The Sailfish Fishman asked rather loudly with a deep chuckle.

"Leave her be Salem, before she bites through those shackles and kick your ass." The African Tiger Fishman teased while showing his acute teeth in a deadly grin.

"This little thing?" Salem asked as he howled in laughter.

"I hope you're little boyfriend has enough guts to come and save you or else you're going to that Celestial Dragon that wants you so badly. Do you know how long we've been looking for you? A pretty long time if you ask me. Every day, all day, just to search for one tiny ass human. I'll tell you this much for your own good, if it so happens that those Marine idiots are playing games with my captain, your ass is mine for the taking." The African Tiger Fishman said with a smirk as he left with Salem back above ground.

"Well I guess that's just too bad for you then." Ivy said flatly.

"I guess she was right about you after all, but are you okay?" A baritone voice asked from across the room in a slightly lit cell. In the right corner of that cell, Hody Jones sat with blood covering almost every inch of his body wearing a sad smile on his face.

"To think that I let them kick my ass like this, it makes me realize that I'm getting too old for this shit." Hody said as he tried to get up but slid right back down to the cold, hard, ground. ( Lmfao oh ohhh trouble, trouble, trouble!)

"Don't go beating yourself up over something like that! What we need to focus on right now is trying to get out of here. Can you think of anything?" Ivy asked as she sat on the springy mattress.

"If I could get my damn legs to work I could easily rip that cell door apart, but I can't even move one inch without falling back down." Hody said with a slight frown.

"By the looks of your wounds you won't be getting up any time soon. If you use up too much of your energy on one task you won't be able to move at all afterwards. There's got be some way we can use that last little bit of strength you have to our advantage." Ivy said as she racked her brain for any possible ways they could escape.

"That's it!" Ivy whispered loudly as she shook her head from side to side vigorously.

"What the hell are you doing?" Hody asked as he gave her a puzzled look.

"One thing that I never forget to leave home without is a few hair pins. Add a hair pin to a lock and what do you get?" Ivy asked with as bright smile as the hair pins she had holding up her hair fell onto the mattress one by one.

"A lock that's about to get picked." Hody said as he chuckled lightly.

Ivy quickly reached behind herself and grabbed one of the many hair pins she had and began to pick the lock that bound her hands together. She squealed in glee as she finally got it open and removed them from her hands then she did the same thing to her ankles. Once she was finished, she quickly opened the cell door and helped Hody out of his binds.

"Quick thinking...for a human." Hody said as his hands were released from the cuffs.

"You're not bad yourself old man, now let's get the hell out of here before those boneheads get back." Ivy said as she helped Hody to his feet as best as she could with her slightly medium sized belly.

Cliffhanger! I hope you all like my little twist in the mix here and please tell me what you think. Did I forget to tell you all how much I love you for sticking with me even while I was late as hell with updating my chapters? Well I do! XD
