Chapter 30: The Witch Is Back

"Hody! Ivy! Wake up quickly!" Honey yelled as she ran up the stairs.

"What's wrong?" Ivy asked as she rubbed her eyes.

"What's going on?" Hody Jr. asked as he yawned.

"Hurry up and put on your clothes. We have to go, now!" Honey said as she ran to the twins' room. Hody and Ivy quickly got dressed and grabbed Teaur and Seaur from Honey as she headed down the stairs.

"Mom, what in the world is going on?" Hody Jr. asked as he came down stairs with panic written all of his face.

"There are marines surrounding the house!" Honey said as she ran into the basement with Hody Jr. and Ivy right behind her with the babies in their arms.

"Where's Hody?" Ivy asked as soon as they got downstairs and they shut the basement doors.

"He's already on his way back here now. Many people said they had spotted a Celestial Dragon ship right at the entrance of Fishman Island. It had docked there sometime this morning, but no one knows why it's here." Honey said as they all sat in a secret room farther back in the basement.

"Well I guess they know why it's here now." Hody Jr. said as Teaur pulled on his hair.

Hody Jr. looked over at Ivy to see that her head was hung low as she held Seaur tightly in her arms. He felt a slight twinge in his chest as he remembered how she had feared of the Celestial Dragons coming back for their children.

"Hey, I don't want to see that face. You have nothing to worry about, everything will be fine. I promise that they won't leave this island with our kids and I'm pretty sure no one else will let them take them from us again either." Hody Jr. said as he smiled down at her and gave her a small kiss on her forehead.

As soon as Ivy nodded her head and graced him with a soft smile Honey's Den Den Mushi rung. "We're already in the basement, they haven't come in after us yet." Honey said as soon as she picked up. "Good, we're almost there. We should be coming in through the back of the house." Hody said as he and a few other Fishmen ran towards the house.

"Now all we have to do is wait." Honey said as she paced back and forward.

"It still doesn't make any sense, why go through all of this trouble for our children?" Ivy asked as she played with Teaur's soft curls.

"I don't know, but I'm betting that it isn't a logical enough reason for the World Government to be involved in. Considering that fact that there are no ships or people from the World Government here with them, it means that they probably don't even know that their here." Hody Jr. said as his eyes followed his mother as she paced in front of them.

"Are you all alright?" Hody asked as he ran into the room from the hidden door in the wall.

"Yes, we're fine." Honey said with a relieved sigh.

"Alright, let's get you all out of here." Hody said as he led them all out of the door and not too far from the house where the others were waiting for them.

As Den and the others moved Hody Jr, Ivy, and Honey along to safety Ivy noticed that the others were staying behind with Hody. "What are you guys going to do?" Ivy asked as she stopped midway. "We have to make sure they stay off of your trail. If we can, we'll be able to drive them back so they'll finally give up on chasing us around. If we don't stop this now, it'll never stop." Hody said as he looked at both of his grandchildren, wife, son, and daughter-in-law with pain written all over his face. "This is the first time I've ever wanted to fight for a good reason, I have something that I can truly say that I want to protect. I won't let them stop us from living happily." Hody continued, then he and the others ran back to the house as more Fishmen and Fishwomen followed them with weapons in hand.

"Come on Ivy, we have to go." Den said as he moved her along as quickly as he could.

~A Few Minutes Later~

"Shit, they're not backing down at all." Hody said as he reloaded his gun.

"What are we gonna do?" One Fishman asked him as they both hid behind the walls of the house as the marines fired many shots at them without hesitation.

"We've got no choice but to keep fighting. Where are the last batch of grenades?" Hody asked as a Fishwoman not too far from him brought them to him.

He quickly picked up four of them, two in each hand, and pulled the cords. As soon as he threw them they went off with a loud boom that send most of the marines that were there flying back.

"I refuse to have any of this bullshit take place within my family. If they think they can do it to us easily, just imagine what they'll try to do to everyone else." Hody said as he gave them all a serious look. They all look terrified of the thought of their families being taken away from them.

"You don't have to remind us Hody, you know that we won't abandon you no matter how much danger we may face. We know of the many pains they have placed upon us." Anemone said with a small smile as the others agreed with her.

"Then let's bury these small fries!" Hody said as he charged forward and gave the marines everything he had, with the others not too far behind him.

~Ivy, Honey, Hody Jr.~

"Ivy, take the children with you. We'll handle everything here." Honey said as she, Hody Jr, and Den stood in front of Ivy as a large group of marines had them surrounded.

"There is no way that I can do that! You all are already hurt from fending them off, you'll die if you keep fighting like this! We can all get away if we run! We just need a plan!" Ivy yelled as she fought to hold back her tears.

Each of them had a good amount of bullets wounds on them and gashes where they had been cut by swords. Hody and Honey were injured the most out of them all. Hody had a long deep gash over his left eye and he had at least 12 bullet wounds on his body, most of them near his legs. Honey had at least 10 bullet wounds on her body with a few small gashes here and there, the worse bullet wound she had was near her left hip because it was bleeding very quickly.

"Ivy listen to me as not your mother-in-law, but as your new mother. As someone who cares for you very much and would protect you just as much as a mother should. Get out of here with my grandchildren, live on and be happy. We'll be fine, we will protect you." Honey said as she held her hands in tight fists.

"Well isn't that touching, look at how much she cares for you!" Saint Shalulia said as she walked in from of her men with a grin on her face.

"If you cared for her just as much you'd give me the children, that way you can live peacefully with your family." Saint Shalulia continued.

"I refuse to give my children to someone like you. I'd rather fight to the death with them just to make sure they live happily without ever having to be near you!" Ivy said with fire in her eyes.

"How rude, being with me will be the best thing for them. They'll never need for a single thing, although they will act accordingly until they are no longer of use to me." Saint Shalulia said with a giggle.

"It's not that your too good for them, it's that their too good for you." Ivy said as she grinned menacingly at Saint Shalulia.

"How dare you?! Get those children at all costs, and bring their smart mouth mother with them, I'll make you regret saying those words you piece of…" Saint Shalulia was not able to finish her sentence because all of the marines who stood behind were blow clean away by a big wave of water.

"You were saying." A Fishwoman said as she stood with almost everyone on Fishman Island behind her.

"You're not going anywhere with these children." Another Fishwoman said.

"And if you think you can then we'll give you plenty of room to try it." A Fishman said.

"Go ahead and kill me, the World Government will turn this filthy place upside down!" Saint Shalulia said as she tried to use her status to her advantage.

"I feel sorry for you, you don't have a single bone in your body that is willing to fight for anything, even the things you want most. What you fail to realize is that we're nothing like you, we don't harm others just because they're different from us because we know that there is nothing in the world that is meant to be the same as everything else. Tell you what, I and a few other Fishmen will escort you home, but you have to make a little deal with me first." Ivy said as she handed her children to one of the Fishwomen that were behind her and she walked up to Saint Shalulia.

"Do you know who I am?! Do you know what I could do to you?!" Saint Shalulia yelled as she slid to the ground in shock.

"Shalulia, take my hand and let me help you. I'm not here to hold my head above yours, I want you to realize that your head was never higher than mine, it will always be the same height. Whether I or you is harmed tomorrow, we'll both need time to heal, we'll still both bleed red blood. Will you help me if I help you? Will you finally save yourself without the aid of your puppets? What will you do?" Ivy asked as she held her hand out to her as she looked up to her with tears falling down her face.
