Hi everyone! From this chapter onwards, there will be more action since the team are starting their missions...
Some chapters might connect to the anime in some way, so there might be spoilers...(You are warned XD)

OC Description:

Codename: Ying (which stands for the flower sakura in chinese)
Her real name is Sendo Erika. Her Messier Code is KS917. Also known as "Kuro no Tenshi" Her ability is to create black holes which suck everything that comes in contact with it to disappear. It can also be used to teleport things around. Her remuneration is to drink the blood of a man she likes (HINT). However, she normally just uses her own blood. Her mission out fit is a black hooded cloak, over her black top with black and white striped sleeve. Her pleated skirt is trimmed white at the bottom and she also wears black long socks with high heels.
Ying likes to keep her hair down.

Chapter 3: The First Mission

Hei, Yin, and I approached the point where we had arranged to meet. I felt it was somewhat strange, considering it was a children's playground. Yin propped herself on the swing as Hei lay down on the circular bench connected to a tree. I moved myself to the slide only to find there was already someone there. As I climbed the steps, a black cat raised its head and stared at me.

"So, are you Ying?" The cat spoke. Cats don't speak?!

The cat stretched with a yawn and stood up, making space for me to perch beside him. Instead, I picked him up and held him up to my face.

"MEOW! What are you doing! LET ME GO!" Mao clawed his paws in the air as I peered intently at him. I dropped him on my lap, then held out my hand. Mao looked up and I said with a smile on my face "Nice to meet you Mao, I am Ying." Mao placed his paw on my hand and in turn replied "Nice to meet you too, glad you know I'm Mao. So that one there is Hei?" I nodded as Mao looked at Hei.

"Are we all here?" came a new voice. I spun round and saw to my slight annoyance, a man smoking a cigarette and inching towards us. I'm not really a fan into smoking. "Okay okay, brief introduction. I am Huang." Huang took another huff and looked at Mao, waiting for him to do his bit. Mao said " I am Mao." "Yin" Yin whispered as she swung on the swing. I looked over at Hei who said in a lazy voice "Hei" I carried on the chain and said "I'm Ying."

"Here's our first mission, just to make you two familiar with how we work." Huang proceeded as he took his place beside Hei. "Hei and Ying are to retrieve goods from a warehouse. Mao, you just look out for things as usual and Yin, use your specture to track everything. Dismissed." Huang simply turned and walked off. Mao yawned again and said " Hey, do you two mind telling us what your ability is? It might make it easier to make plans." Hei got up from the bench and said " I can manipulate electricity, and I fight with a split blade" producing one out of his pocket while talking. Mao nodded and turned to me . "I can create black holes to simply make things disappear, or teleport something. I fight with a scythe." Swinging Kuro Sakura over my back so the blade curved just over my head. Mao gazed in amazement as Yin stared too at the sight of the scythe lengthening as it was exposed to the air. Probably at the fact that I produced it out of thin air as well.

Hei, who knew perfectly well about my abilities simply held my hand as Kuro Sakura disappeared. "Come on Ying, time to go." He led me out of the playground and towards our home.

I always thought Hei treated me as if I was his little sister. I trained with him when I was 6 but that was when he was 10, 4 years my superior. Hei was always very nice to Bai, and then to me as I grew closer with her. Now he was 23 while I was 19. Sometimes, I still have the feeling that he thinks that I am his little sister since Bai had disappeared. To be honest, I didn't have the problem with that, I liked it quite a lot.

It was like having a family I never had.

Night approached quickly, and soon it was time to attend to our mission. Both dressed in our assassin costumes, Hei and I skirted the roofs of various buildings, eventually coming out onto a deserted alleyway. Slowly proceeding along it, we approached the warehouse. Yin's voice came through the ear piece "There's someone in there." I could see her specter in a nearby puddle as it slowly disappeared. As we entered the warehouse, we heard a swish just up above. Immediately standing back to back, Hei held his blade at neck height, while I held Kuro Sakura so it just formed a arc in front of my waist. We looked around, not daring to make a move.

Suddenly, Hei shouted "UP!"

We rolled apart in the opposite directions, just in time to escape the ceiling that would have landed on us before. A man charged yet at me as my eyes glowed red and the blue aura surrounded me. Sprinting forward in order to make contact, I swung my scythe around and held him by his neck as I pulled, my hand stretched out just in case he doged the blade. My fingers were milimetres from him.

He disappeared.

Teleportation, I thought to myself as I put both hands on my weapon yet again, wondering where he will be next.

We were surrounded, Hei and I stood back to back once more. Thinking fast, I said "Hei, remember how we use to teleport?" Hei nodded and sudden realization flooded through him and replied "Okay, let's do this."

I knelt to the floor, slammed Kuro Sakura beside me and touched Hei's leg as my eyes glowed red once again. Hei disappeared into nothingness as I sprinted, circling the contractors, and targeting one, swung my scythe at him. His shocked face was etched into his face as he fell on to the floor. Someone approached my back and I quickly moved my weapon over my head, pulling after it curved on the attackers neck. I heard the crash and more foot steps. More contractors were running towards my front as others approached my back. I attacked my front and as the back drew their weapons into the air, I held my hand high and released my ability."Hei!" Everyone looked shocked as Hei materialized from no where and sent his ability through his wire and electrocuted everyone within the circle. His coat flashing in the air, Hei tightened his wire at another enemy and dragged him towards me as I twirled Kuro Sakura in my hands and brought him down.

Landing beside me, Hei and I smiled at each other as we remembered that we had worked together so well, even after so many years of not seeing each other. Well, I couldn't really see his face since it was behind a mask, but I could sense it okay?

We found the goods hidden behind a hay bale, it was a journal of some kind. I opened it cautiously, but found nothing to my interest written on any pages. "Come on, we should get this to Mao to give to Huang." Hei tapped me gently on the shoulder and took the journal from my hands. I frowned and looked at him with a childish angry face. He laughed and walked out of the ware house. I sighed, and followed.

Outside, Mao was scratching his head on a barrel beside the door. "Mao, take it to Huang." said Hei, and handed the journal to the neko. Mao nodded, and dashed away down the alleyway.

Hei and I took to the roofs again. Taking the fastest route, we arrived with no delay back at Misuzu. After taking a quick bath, I bid Hei goodnight and returned to my room, closing the door behind me. There I sank, quickly grabbing a knife and cut my wrist, slowly licking off the blood that dripped from it. I was glad I could postpone my remuneration for a longer time, I didn't want anyone to see such a disgusting side of me.

Hei sat on his bed, slowly rethinking the nights events. It felt nostalgic, to fight alongside Ying again. Somehow, she reminded him about Bai. It was like having her back again.
