Chapter 14
(A/N: Really sorry for the late update guys! I've been busy!)
After getting hit by Aquarius's, both Lucy and Aquarius herself couldn't get up before too long.
"Damn, that attack was stronger than how I originally sent it. How is that possible?" said Aquarius.
"He controls gravity and force I guess. He just sent it back at us with more force." said Lucy.
"Heh. You are a smart girl." Jakkuna smirked.
He pulled his arm back like he was preparing to throw something and when he shoved his hand forward, a massive purple light formed in his hand and was sent at Lucy and Aquarius. They both moved, but the explosion was big enough that they both fell to the ground again. Aquarius soon disappeared.
"N-no. My power..." Lucy mumbled. Before she could get back on her feet, she felt something hard stomp on her back, pinning her down. She coughed up some blood and soon looked up to see none other than Jakkuna above her.
"Your stamina is impressive, but it can become annoying after too long." Jakkuna said.
He lifted his foot up and stomped on Lucy's back again, this time using some of his magic. It caused her to scream in agony and pain. But, before he could do it again, something unexpected happened. Somehow, Zander had broken free and jumped Jakkuna and, by using his magic to make himself have wolf fangs, bit near Jakkuna's neck.
"What!?" Jakkuna exclaimed.
"Zander!" Lucy shouted.
"You bastard! Leave her alone!" said Zander, not loosening up on his bite.
"You insolent brat." growled Jakkuna. He grabbed Zander by his hair and was able to pry him off of him and threw him against the ground near Lucy, who quickly went to Zander.
"Zander! Are you alright!?" said Lucy.
"Yeah, I'm fine." answered Zander, getting back onto his feet. The two of them stood side by side, ready to fight Jakkuna once again.
"Well, I'm impressed. No one has spilled a drop of my blood in years. Now I can truly not let either of you live." Jakkuna said.
Suddenly, when his eyes flashed, three purple magic circles appeared around the two of them, one on each side of them and one below them. They began to glow and it was soon hard for Lucy and Zander to breathe. And they then started coughed up a good amount of blood continuously.
"Wh-what's...happening...? I...can't..." Lucy choked out, still coughing up blood.
"This spell is called 'Suffocation Chamber'. It applies force to the inner organs, mainly the lungs and other arteries. Either the amount of blood loss or suffocation will kill you two." Jakkuna said with a smirk.
Lucy and Zander looked up at Jakkuna as if he was a mad man. But, there was nothing they could do. They both knew they were fading, fast. Lucy's eyes were the first to become completely blank and was first to have her knees buckle.
"L-Lu...cy...J-just...hang on..." Zander said, still choking as well.
"As long as I have my eyes on you two and maintain the spell, there'll be no chance of escape." Jakkuna said.
But, as he said that, a spiral of wind, metal, and fire was shot at him. Since he was off guard, it hit him dead on and smashed Jakkuna into the wall. Luckily, that caused his spell to be undone as well. Lucy and Zander were gasping for air after it was gone.
"Who do that!?" Jakkuna exclaimed in rage. He then saw who was. It appeared Zander wasn't the only one who was able to break free. All of the other Fairy Tail members were able to break free, along with Brass being back onto his feet.
"Y-you guys." said Lucy, rubbing her throat.
"Lucy, Zander, don't worry. We've got this guy." said Lisanna in her Tigress form.
"That's right. This all happened from our mistake, now we'll be the ones to fix it." said Erza.
"And this guy is really strong too. I'm all fired up!" Natsu exclaimed, engulfing his fists with flames.
"I just can't stand letting this freak continue living." Brass said. Lucy and Zander looked at the others and they both had the same look in their eyes. They both stood up and went to stand with the others.
"No way. This guy is our business too. Besides, that'd be missing all the fun of this." Lucy said, getting her daggers.
"We're not just sitting this one out." Zander said, getting into his fighting stance.
"Heh. It seems I forgot about my other targets. Thank you for the reminder. That won't happen again." Jakkuna said. Now that everyone was back and ready to fight, the tension in the air became so thick that is was suffocating. Each side could tell that hell was about to break loose.
