Chapter 15
The entire was slowly falling apart at the seems. Explosions were happening everywhere and many people were evacuating the castle. All of this was happening because of the fight happening between Lucy and the others and Jakkuna. They were all practically chasing him through the entire castle, he was always dodging their attacks. Everyone was just throwing out random attacks everywhere, but they weren't landing anything on him. Soon, they all stopped when they reached the first level and were right in front of the doors.
"Damn! We're getting nowhere with this guy!" Lucy grunted.
"With a magic like that, how are we supposed to beat him?" Wendy said.
"We just have to keep fighting." Erza said. Suddenly, they were all blown away thanks to one Jakkuna's attacks. Lucy, Natsu, and Zander were the first ones back on their feet.
"FIRE DRAGON: ROAR!" Natsu shouted.
A massive stream of fire was sent at Jakkuna, but he easily sent away from himself. While he was doing that, Lucy went behind Jakkuna and was about to cut him with her dagger. But before she could, he grabbed her neck and slightly lifted her off the ground. It caused her to drop her weapon and gasp for air.
"Did you honestly think you could sneak up on me?" Jakkuna said with a smirk. Lucy didn't say anything, actually, she let out a low snicker. Jakkuna looked at her puzzled.
"So that's you weakness." Lucy choked out.
"What?" said Jakkuna. Lucy smirked at him.
"You didn't use that magic your so proud of on me. You can only do it on one thing or in one place at a time, huh?" said Lucy.
Jakkuna's eyes shrunk once she said. That's when Erza came up from behind and swung a sword down, which just barely missed because he moved out of the way. That also made him let go of Lucy. She dropped to her knees and coughed and hacked after almost being choked.
"Lucy, are you ok?" asked Erza.
"Yeah. And I learned something." Lucy said. She got back onto her feet and picked up her weapon.
"Everyone! He has a weakness! He can only use his magic on one thing at a time!" Lucy called out. That caught everyone's attention.
"In that case, we just attack one after another instead of all at once." Brass said. After saying that, he sent one of his wind slashes and Jakkuna sent them away, but Zander began attacking Jakkuna not even when Brass's attack was done.
"ICE WOLF: HOWL!" Zander shouted. A spiral of ice was sent at Jakkuna and it actually managed to send him smashing into the wall.
"SKY DRAGON: ROAR!" Wendy chanted.
Jakkuna deflected that attack, but couldn't block one of Gray's ice lances. That process continued for everyone else until they got Jakkuna down on one knee after being beaten up by all of the members. Lucy was the first to stand in front of him and she put one of her extended daggers near his head.
"Give up Jakkuna. We know your weakness now, you're beat." Lucy said. Jakkuna didn't raise his head.
"...Hehe...Haha..." Jakkuna chuckled.
"What's so funny?!" Lucy sneered.
"You honestly think you've won?" Jakkuna mumbled. Lucy gave him a puzzled look, but suddenly, Lucy's eyes widen and she coughed up a good amount of blood.
"Lucy!" everyone exclaimed. She fell to her knees and dropped to her weapon, letting Jakkuna get back onto his feet. Zander and Lisanna got down beside.
"Lucy, are you ok!? You bastard! What did you do to her?!" Lisanna shouted.
"Hehe. You fools must've not seen what was on her back." said Jakkuna.
Everyone's eyes widen and Lisanna pulled up Lucy's shirt and her face almost instantly paled. On Lucy's back, there was a mark of what looked three massive claw marks scarring over a demon eye. What was even worse, it was a magic seal mark and, at the moment, it was giving off a bright purple light. The brighter it got, the more blood Lucy coughed up.
"Oh god...You didn't..." Zander choked out.
"What? Do you know what this is?" Natsu asked.
"That mark was made with a special body link magic. When I am in need of more magic power, whoever bares that mark will have all of their magical power transferred to me, willing or not. Sadly though, in this process, the barer of the mark will slowly but gradually have their life drained. Eventually, killing them." Jakkuna explained.
"What?!" Gray exclaimed.
"Oh no!" Wendy cried.
"You bastard!" Zander and Lisanna growled.
"Dammit! Get that off of her! Now!" Erza ordered.
"Haha. Even if I wanted to now, I couldn't do it willing. If you want to save her, you'll have to take my life." Jakkuna said, wiping some blood around hi moth, now looking perfectly fine.
"In that case, that's exactly what we'll do! You sticking bastard!" Natsu shouted.
