"WE HAVE TO GO SAVE HER!" Kurogane yelled.
"I agreed." Syaoran nodded.
"It doesn't mater what you want to do…. She's probably dead…" A man sighed.
"SHUT UP!" Kurogane yelled trying to punch the guy.
"Kurogane stop." Syaoran said standing in the way. "What do you mean she's probably dead?"
"….. It's a monster…. That or its using her as a slave…. No one knows what will happen if the monster gets a hold of you…."
"Well I'm going." Kurogane growled.
"Now now Kirgy. Don't be so hasty." Fye giggled.
"Shut up. I'm going to go get Kai back! If you don't care about her enough to then you can stay here!"
Fye looked hurt but didn't say anything.
"Kurogane…" Sar said from the window. Everyone turned and looked at the cat. "….. I'm coming with you…. I know she's alive…. I can feel it…"
"But…" A man said.
"Kai's our friend… We're going to go save her." Syaoran said calmly. "Fye?" Fye had been silently walking to the door as they had talked.
"Let's go!" He smiled, but his eyes spoke of guilt.
"Right." Sar said jumping down next to Fye's feet.
"But…" Sauro blinked standing up.
"Watch Sakura for me." Syaoran said to Nano.
"K….. Be careful."
"We will be… And we will bring Kai back."
Kai moaned and sat up. She was above ground again. Sitting next to the lake. "….What the…." She gasped and stood up. "DOCSU!" She screamed.
Its okay. I'm right here. He said from the water.
"Docsu." She sighed. "What happened?" She hugged him as he climbed out of the water.
When I brought you to my home the first time you were unconscious so you weren't able to breath in the water…. This water has a strange property to it. When you are under the water you will slowly loss your energy unless you breath in some of the water….. Once you breath in the water you can breath under the water and its like being above only your wet…
Kai laughed at the last comment. "Well then I'll have to breath the water in once we go back."
You'll come back?! But your friends?...
"I'll stay with you and try to think of a way to help you be accepted by the town."

Kai nodded as he picked her up gently. She clung to him nervously.
Suddenly right as he jumped into the water Fye, Sar, Kurogane, and Syaoran came running into the clearing.
"KAI!" Sar yelled.
"GUYS!" Her yell was interrupted as they hit the water and the air from her lungs was squeezed out.
After Kai and the monster had disappeared under the water the guys stood there shocked for a minute.
"Kai….." Sar finally said breaking the silence.
"Lets go." Syaoran said walking towards the lake.
"Syaoran….. I can feel Sakura's feather slightly…." Mokona said from Kurogane's pocket.
"When did you get there?!" He growled.
"I've been here the whole time! You were just too worried about Kai to realize that." Mokona smiled.
"Whatever. Shut up or help." He growled throwing Mokona to Fye.
"Kurro-puu is being mean!" Mokona cried.
"Mokona are you sure you sensed the feather?" Syaoran asked standing on the edge of the lake.
"Yeah. Its coming from the lake bottom." Mokona said seriously.
"Then we're defiantly going down there." He nodded.
"Wait." Fye said walking over to the lake side. He sat down and dipped his finger tips into the lake. "Hmm….. This lake has a magical property to it…."
"What are you talking about?" Kurogane growled.
"I think this is a different type of lake…. I think the water will have some strange property that we should figure out before we charge in…."
"We can figure it out later!" Kurogane growled.
"Wait." Sar said. "Come look at this." Hidden on the ground covered for the most part was a stone tablet.
"Interesting…" Syaoran said picking it up. After a minute of looking it over he nodded.
"What?" Fye blinked.
"It says that the water in this lake has a curse on it…. Who ever breaths none of the water will die from weakness, and he who breaths the water in will survive to find the hidden treasure….."
"Breath in the water?" Kurogane blinked.
"….Breath in the water like air is my guess… I guess that's what I felt coming from the water…"
"Fine then. Lets go." Kurogane said jumping into the water. Fye, Sar, Syaoran, and Mokona followed.
Kai are you okay?
"…I'm just worried about my friends…."
Oh.. I can take you back if you want?...
"No… I promised I'd help you so I will…." She said stubbornly.
But…. Alright… But if you ever change your mind I will take you back.
"Thank you Docsu." She smiled. Then sat down against his side. "I guess first I have to figure out how to help you communicate with them…."
How are you able to?... What is that?
"What's what? " Kai asked as he stood up.
I'm not sure… I smell something…. Strange….
"Hmm…."
"KAI!" Suddenly Sar came out of no where and attacked Docsu.
"SAR!" Kai screamed as the cat began to claw the strange monster. Then Kurogane, Fye, and Syaoran came shooting in. Fye grabbed Kai and dragged her away as the other two charged at him with their swords. "NO! STOP!"
They all paused as Kai navigated out of Fye's hands and ran in front of Docsu. "Kai?"
"His name is Docsu. He's my friend."
"Kai he's a monster!" Kurogane growled. "Step back and let us kill it!"
"NO!" Kai growled. "He's not a monster. He's a poor man with a curse."
Kai….. Please don't put yourself in danger….
"….Hmm….. I think she's telling the truth." Fye said surprising everyone.
"WHAT!" Kurogane growled.
"Fye…" Kai blinked.
"After all. It hasn't hurt her yet. And apparently has never ACTUALY hurt anyone."
"Hmmmm…." Syaoran nodded. "I think Fye is right… but Kai how did you know?" He asked putting his sword away.
"I just did." She smiled letting out a sigh of relief. "Now can you guys help me convince the town about Docsu?"
"We can try." Syaoran nodded.
"Thanks." She smiled.
"AHHHH!" Kai sighed as the people all ran on sight of Docsu.
"Please stop!" She called out. Everyone froze and stared at her. "He's not going to hurt you!"
"KAI?!" Nano cried out in shock.
"Hi!" She waved. "Everyone. This is Docsu. He was put under a curse. He's not actually a monster. He's a man. And he's not going to hurt you. Please. Listen."
"HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS?!" A man yelled out.
"I can understand him somehow. Please. He's really kind."
"Wait did you say his name is Docsu?" Sauro asked stepping forward.
"Yes. The same man who was in love with you ancestor Nano."
"But…" Nano said nervously.
She looks just like my beloved Nano… He took a step forward causing everyone to back up.
"Docsu please. She's not your Nano." Docsu looked down at her sadly then backed up.
"….He really is the same man isn't he…." Nano said stepping forward next to her brother.
"Yes. And he is really sweet once you get to know him." Everyone began to set down their weapons realizing the so called monster wasn't really a monster.
"See. He's no monster."
Kai…. Can you please tell them I mean them no harm…. I just want friends….?
Kai nodded. Then repeated the message. Soon everyone was happily talking and introducing themselves to him.
