Kai leaned up against Kurogane's chest waiting for him or Fye to wake up. Daiki had left to talk to someone, at least that's what he had told her. She shivered worried about her friends and still cold from the water. She snuggled closer to him enjoying the warmth she got.

"…Kai…" Kurogane whispered.

She looked up and blushed. "Sorry." She pulled back and shivered.

He frowned and pulled her back close wrapping his arms around her. "You're cold."

She nodded relaxing her head against his chest weakly. She smiled in comfort.

"Kai are you okay?" Kurogane whispered.

"Yeah." She whispered.

Kurogane smiled gently then looked up. "Where are we? Where's the kids… And the fuzz ball?"

"I don't know…. Daiki said he's going to look for them…."

"Daiki?" He frowned.

"Yes. He's the guy who found us… We were in a river and he fished us out." She smiled gently. "He took care of us… He said he'll look for Sakura and Syoaran."

"Oh." He nodded patting her head.

"Uh…." Fye moaned from where he lay.

"Fye!" Kai shot out of Kurogane's arms and rushed over to him and smiled. "You okay?"

He smiled. "No… I'm a little wet!" He laughed.

Kai giggled. "That's good. Now we just need to wait for Syoaran and Sakura to be found."

"They are missing?"

"Yeah."

"Kai?" Kurogane asked.

"Yeah?-"She was interrupted by the door opening and Daiki and some other men walking inn. "Did you find them?!"

"No I'm sorry… They were probably washed up on one of the other islands…" Daiki sighed. "But I see your friends are awake now."

"Yes. Daiki this is Kurogane, and Fye." She turned but blinked seeing the look of confusion on the guys faces. "What's wrong guys?"

"Kai…." Kurogane frowned looking at Fye. "It's Mokona."

Fye nodded. "Wait Kai… You understand us?"

"Yeah…" Kai blinked confused. "What's wrong?"

"Without Mokona near by we can't understand each other…. Like right now everything Kuro-puu and your friends over there is complete gibberish to me!" Fye laughed as if he'd just told a joke.

"What's that stupid wizard saying?" Kurogane growled.

"That he cant understand what you or Daiki is saying…"

"Yeah… Same here… Without the fuzz ball here we cant understand other language…. The kid hopefully has the fuzz ball with him…"

"Kai?" Daiki asked. "What are you talking about…. Can you understand your friends?"

"Uh… Yeah… I guess you could say I'm a translator… Kind of…"

Daiki blinked confused. "That's strange…."

Fye frowned. "Kai I can understand you… But not the others…"

Kai blinked and frowned. "I guess I'll just translate for everyone…" She smiled like it was normal. "Daiki, and friends, this is Kurogane and Fye. We are traveling together with three others. Sakura, Syoaran, and Mokona. Guys this is Daiki and his friends."

Daiki nodded and started introducing the men with him. "… Kai… We searched for your other companions… But couldn't find them… I'm sorry… I believe they truly are on another island."

"Oh great…" Kai sighed.

"Syoaran…." Sakura whispered weakly.

He moaned waking up and looked at her. "Sakura…. What's going on?... Where are we?... Where are the others?"

"We got separated…" Mokona said from Sakura's shoulder. "Someone fished us up and not the others."

Syoaran nodded sitting up. "Lets get going. We need to find them and look for the feather… Mokona?"

"Yeah there is one here I can feel."

Syoaran nodded calmly. "Okay."

"….I hope the others are okay…. Kaida…."

"I'm sure she's fine. After all she has Kurogane and Fye to look after her." Syoaran smiled. "Come on Princess."

She nodded weakly.

"Oh good your awake." A man said walking in. He had spiked dark blue hair and purple eyes. "My name is Daiske."

Syoaran nodded. "Thank you for helping us. I'm Syoaran and this is Sakura and Mokona."

"Nice to meet you."

Syoaran nodded to Sakura. "We have to go now."

"Go where?" He blinked confused.

"To find our companions." Sakura said quickly. "There are three of them. A girl and two men…. Have you happened to see them?"

"No… I'm sorry…. But I'll send the word out. You should rest here for a little. I'm sure your friends are okay."

Syoaran frowned but nodded. "Can you tell me… Are there any legends of a feather here?"

"A feather…. Yes, there is."

Syoaran smiled. "Can you please tell it to me!"
