"Hey, Em? Can you grab a staple gun and give me a hand?" Thankful, Emily stands up, taking the staple gun from one of the boxes and practically skipping upstairs to help Paige. She steps onto the balcony, seeing Paige fiddle with a garland, trying to untangle it. "What do you want me to do," she asks, turning Snowy a little more to the left.
"Come over here," Paige answers, and when she steps closer, Paige hangs the garland over her shoulders. "Hold this for a second." Grinning, Paige slips her arms around her waist and pulls her closer.
"What are you doing? I thought you needed me to help?" She frowns, holding up the staple gun in her hand with confusion. Laughing, Paige leans in, pressing cold lips onto hers. Her eyes close as warmth tingles inside her, and it takes her a while to pull back a little. "You don't need any help, do you?" Shaking her head, Paige bites her lips, leaning in to kiss her again.
Blindly putting the staple gun down, hopefully next to Snowy, she loops her arms around Paige's neck, kissing her back. She feels Paige pulling her even closer, a hand slowly wandering to her butt. "No, stop, Pingy and Wingy are watching," she mumbles with a grin and Paige laughs into her mouth, stealing another kiss. She hums into it. "We should finish decorating before it gets dar-"
Paige shuts her off, kissing her firmly and determined. Briefly breaking the kiss, Paige whispers "Shut up." and Emily does, forgetting about everything that's not Paige for now.
They do have to make up for lost time after all.
