Kaida shivered as she drifted down under the water. She tried to un-strap herself, but couldn't. She couldn't breath. Her eyes closed and she shivered as everything started darkening.
She heard a splash, but was distracted by a bright light. She opened her eyes and looked at the light. She reached for it calmly. Light…. She wrapped her hand around the light source then everything went black.
"KAI!... KAIDA!" A voice called to her.
She coughed weakly and opened her eyes seeing Fye looking down at her. He was soaking wet, but he was smiling. "…Fye…."
He smiled. "Hey. You're awake…."
"What happened?" Kai whispered.
"You fell over bored. But look what you found." He held up one of Sakura's feathers.
"Sakura's feather….. Then the water… Is it all clear? Is the water no longer stormy?"
"Yep. You cleared up the sea." He laughed. "Kurogane is getting a boat ready so we can find Sakura and Syoaran."
"Right…" She sat up and looked over to see Daiki and Kurogane. "Who saved me?"
"That would be me." He smiled.
"Thank you." Kaida smiled and stood up. "No wonder you're all wet."
He laughed. "I had to save you didn't I?"
"I guess…. Thank you Fye." She leaned up and kissed his check. "That is my thanks for you."
He blushed and smiled. "Wow."
Kai blushed and walked over towards Kurogane and Daiki. "Hey guys!"
Fye watched her and smiled. Kai.
Kurogane hugged Kai as she walked up. "You're alright!"
"Yes. Thanks to Fye. Now come on. Let's go find Sakura and Syoaran."
Kurogane grinned. "Yeah. And that fuzz ball who can keep us from using you as a translator."
"Yeah." Kai laughed. "Fye come on!"
Fye smiled and ran over. "Come on Kuro-puu!"
"SHUT UP YOU!" Kurogane growled.
"Kaida?" Fye asked.
"He said shut up."
"Oh?" He laughed. "Kuro-puu you're so funny!"
Kai sighed as Kurogane started to chase Fye. "Jezz those two are idiots."
Daiki laughed. "Why do you travel with them then?"
"Because I care about them."
Daiki remained silent, but nodded in understanding. "That is a good reason to travel… I hope you are happy and remain happy as you travel."
Kai nodded and watching the two argue and run around. She knew that without them she could never be truly happy. They, Sakura, Syoaran, and Mokona had become her life. And she wouldn't give that up at all.
