Kai sighed as they landed in a clearing. They had traveled to many different worlds in the last few months. Kai had enjoyed spending time with them, but was slowly beginning to miss Sar. She looked around and watched as Syoaran and Kurogane headed off to get firewood and Fye went off to get food. That left her, Sakura, and Mokona to set up camp.

"Kai are you okay?"

"Just missing Sar." Kai admitted. "It feels like forever since I've seen him."

"I know what you mean. I miss my brother too."

"You've still got Syoaran."

"But he's not my brother."

"Yeah I guess… But he sure acts like it." Kai laughed.

Sakura smiled and sat down next to Kai. "This world is so peaceful….. It's nice."

"Yeah." Kai laid back and smiled. "If only all the worlds we went to were this nice."

Sakura nodded and smiled. "Of course Kurogane wouldn't be happy. Sometimes I think he lives off of the fighting."

"Yeah. He does love to fight." Kai laughed. "And Fye lives off joking."

"Especially when it comes to Kurogane." Sakura smiled. She sat up as they heard someone walking back into the campsite. "Oh welc-. KAIDA!" She cried out scared.

Kai shot up just in time to see Meniary and dodge his arms by rolling. "YOU!"

"Hello Kaida… It's been a long time. But you see I'm done chasing you. I'm getting your power now!" He shot forward and grabbed at her. She dodged and grabbed Sakura's hand and ran.

The two girls ran thru the forest as fast as they could, searching for one of the guys. Meniary was right behind them. FYE! KUROGANE! SYOARAN! Kaida tensed as they ran.

They gasped as they ran into Kurogane and Fye who were arguing. "Girls?" Fye asked as they hide behind them.

"Me-Men-Meniary." Kaida gasped breathing heavily.

"I'll kill that jerk this time." Kurogane growled drawing his sword.

"Stick close." Fye nodded pulling the girls close to him.

Sakura and Kaida nodded as they waited. Meniary came crashing through the trees a few moments later. "Well, Well, Well. Look what we have here. The little ninja and the magician. Where's the boy?" He smirked. "Just give me the girl."

"No way." Kurogane growled.

"Very well." Meniary waved his hand and a bunch of black ninja's showed up. Kurogane growled recognizing them.

Kaida tensed. Kurogane charged and started fighting them. Fye pulled out some darts and threw them, keeping the girls behind them. Meniary watched and frowned. He wanted to get his hands on Kaida as soon as possible.

A ninja snuck past Kurogane and shot at the girls. Fye's darts weren't hitting. He was about to use his magic when Syoaran shot out of the trees and hit it. "PRINCESS!"

"Syoaran." Sakura blinked shocked, but happy.

"Fye get them away." Syoaran nodded helping Kurogane.

"Right. Come on girls." Fye pulled the two after him. They stopped a while later and the girls collapsed. "You two okay?"

"Yeah." Sakura nodded.

Kaida stood up weakly. "Are they going to be okay?"

"Yeah they should be fine." Fye nodded. "They'll take care of Meniary as well."

Kaida looked down and nodded weakly.

"Kai are you okay?" Sakura stood up.

"I can't believe he's here… The guy who murdered my father…"

"Everything will be fine." Fye smiled looking at her. "Kurogane will take care of him."

"Yeah… I guess…" She looked around nervously.

"How does he plan to get your powers anyways?" Sakura asked looking between the two. "Now that you are aware of who you are and your powers you can work against him."

"I don't know." She frowned, but gasped as suddenly Meniary had her in a head lock.

"I can answer that." He smirked. "I have a friend who taught me how to take her powers." He pulled out a needle. He smirked.

"KAIDA!" Fye shot forward as Meniary plunged the needle into Kaida's shoulder.
