Fye tensed as Meniary held a gun to Kaida's back. "I'll shot her now if you move. I've got what I want." He smirked sliding the needle into his pocket. "Now then back up. I'll let her go once I'm gone."
"How do I know about that?" Fye asked tensely.
"You can't." He laughed. "But so you know. This bullet if it grazes the skin it will because an intense burning felling." He smirked.
Fye frowned. "Kaida don't worry." Kaida nodded felling extremely weak. "Kai?!"
"Oh looks like her power is more intertwined with her than I thought." Meniary shrugged tightening his grip. "Now come along little one."
Kaida was too tired to struggle as he tugged her along. She was starting to black out as he dropped her. She heard some noise and then felt some one pick her up. "KAIDA!"
"Uh…." Kaida opened her eyes and looked up to find Fye holding her. "Fye?"
"Hey… You okay?" He asked smiling gently. "I was worried about you."
"What happened?"
"You passed out." Sakura said from behind Fye. "Kurogane and Syoaran chased after Meniary."
"Oh…." Kai nodded weakly and closed her eyes. "So tired…"
"Kai." Fye whispered.
"So tired…." Kai whispered weakly.
"Is she going to be okay?" Sakura whispered.
"I think Meniary took more than just her powers." Fye frowned. "We just have to hope that Kurogane and Syoaran get Meniary before he leaves this world."
Sakura nodded weakly. "Poor Kaida…."
"Someone's coming." Mokona popped up on Fye's shoulder.
They all turned to see Kurogane and Syoaran. Syoaran looked tired and Kurogane looked extremely pleased as he pulled an unconscious Meniary.
"Good job Kuro-puu!"
"The kid made me not kill him." Kurogane growled.
"Fye the needle! Kaida!" Sakura said looking at Meniary.
Fye got up and ran over digging thru Meniary's pockets. He pulled out the needle and ran over to Kaida. "This might sting a bit." He poked it into Kaida's shoulder and returned its contents to her.
Kaida moaned and shifted slightly, then rested her head against Fye's chest.
"Now we wait."
