Kaida blinked as they landed. She looked up at the sky and blinked. The landscape looked familiar as she sat up. "Hey guys."
"Mmmm….. Five more minutes…" Syoaran moaned.
Kaida smiled as the others got up slowly. "It's a good thing we didn't land in the middle of a battle or you guys would be dead meat."
"Who you calling dead meat?" Kurogane growled.
Kaida laughed. "Just come on." She looked around. "Which way should we head?"
"Left." Fye said.
"Right." Kurogane said.
The two looked at each other and frowned.
"How about straight." Syoaran smiled.
"Right." Kaida nodded and started walking. Sakura and Syoaran followed her and the other two guys followed after a moment.
"Mokona can you sense a feather?" Syoaran asked.
"Mmmmmmm it's faint, but yes."
"I feel like we've been here before." Sakura blinked looking around.
"I know what you mean." Kaida nodded looking around.
"We'll figure it out sooner or later." Fye smiled. "Come on then."
"Right."
The group traveled for a bit and finally decided to stop and rest when suddenly a storm of dust came at them. Kurogane and Syoaran drew their swords and tensed.
The group of horse back riders stopped and the head man dismounted. "Hello."
"Hi." Fye smiled happily. "We're travelers, just passing thru. Nothing to worry about."
"We weren't worried." A man grumbled.
"Where are you travelers headed?"
"To the nearest city." Syoaran said putting his sword away. "How far is it?"
"Well our home city is about four miles that way. If you want to get to the nearest it's…. We'll I'll be." He laughed causing everyone to blink confused. "If it isn't the young princess Kaida."
"Huh…. You know me?" Kaida blinked.
"Probably just mistaking you for the Kaida of this world." Kurogane grumbled.
"Of course. It's been a long time so I'm not surprised that you don't remember me. Prince Aido."
"A…. AIDO!" Kaida gasped. "Is it really you?!"
"Yep."
"Then that means…." Sakura whispered.
"Why are you headed away from your home city?"
"It's a long story…. Ummm, do you think you could give us a ride to the palace?"
"Of course not. We are headed there any ways for your brother's hunt."
"Sar…" Kaida whispered.
"Men give the Princess and her friends a lift." Aido called climbing back on his horse. He held out his hand and helped Kaida up.
Soon the group had arrived at Sar's palace. The young prince was waiting at the gate and was shocked to see the gang.
"SAR!" She shot forward and hugged him.
"Kaida?! What… what are you doing here?"
"We just got back in town. Oh it's so great to see you again!"
"Yeah! Oh Kurogane, Fye, Syoaran, Sakura it's good to see you again as well."
"Hey." Kurogane grumbled.
"Come in. You must be tired! You can come and rest. Aido we'll be postponing the hunt till tomorrow if you don't mind."
"Not at all." He laughed.
