CHAPTER 12

Naruto hummed happily to her self as she stirred the stew she had made earlier with the help of Shizune. Just as she put the pot of the stove and on to the counter, she herd the door being knocked on and answered, she smiled as she recognized the muffled voices that could be heard through the wall. Today was the first time that most of her family could be together to eat together.

Tsunade was watching the twins while Shizune welcomed everyone in, she watched as Kakashi and Iruka walked in hand in hand, with Ibiki and the Hokage not far behind. Tsunade showed them to the dinning room and laughed aloud with everyone when Anko jumped through the window shouting:

"I come for the food." Anko twirled around looking confused at the empty table and the laughing guests.

"Where is the food?" Asked Anko with a puzzled look on her face. This however only made the occupants of the room laugh harder. Anko's puzzled look turned into a sheepish look as she saw Naruto enter with the steaming stew and rice.

Once everyone was settled down they sat down and began to eat, talk and enjoy the evening and food. Most watched as Naruto feed the twins and use her hard earned reflexes to doge any food used as missiles by the terrible twins. Each person there smiled at the happiness that they could see in Naruto's face as she feed and played with her children. It brought each of them to think about how they had come to meet Naruto and how Naruto had changed them in one way or another.

###Hokage Flashback####

A lone baby's cry could be heard through the silent war zone, but only for a moment before the air was filled with victory cries and screams of relief and joy. The 3rd Hokage walked from the battlefield with a grim face and a crying bundle in his arms. Tears silently traveled down his cheeks as he laid eyes on to the child that reminded him so much of the two precious people that had a few moments ago given up their lives to protect Konoha.

A few days later the Hokage walked on to his towers balcony staring down at the gathered people of Konoha. He told them of how Minito had saved them and how he had done it. This was when he saw his village in a shameful light. Disgusted with his village he made a law to protect the bundle of life in his arms. It was Naruto who kick started the Hokage's will of fire again, something which he thought had died when his wife and son had died.

The following years would harden the hokage's resolve to change and protect the village that he loves.

#####Tsunade Flashback#######

Tsunade had retired for the night after a long night of making her debts worse and ridiculously bigger, and drinking her problems away. Usually Shizune would be there to reel her in to be manageable level, but Shizune was away to Earth country for a month to gather the annual medical herds that they needed.

She was about to lay down when the hotel rooms door was busted through by a dog masked Anbu with a small bundle that seemed to be moving.

Tsunade instantly feel into a defective position ready to pummel the idiot who decided to interrupt her this late at night. Only to stop dead in her tracks when she saw her old sensei behind the Anbu agent. His sad and defeated look was enough to sober Tsunade right away. She looked at the bundle and back to the Hokage, the slight nod was all she needed to know that the person in the bundle was her patient. She beckoned the Anbu agent to place the bundled person on to the bed. Once this was done Tsunade gently and slowly unwrapped the blanket that covered the persons face and body. Tsunade had to gasp at who she saw in the blanket, and almost immediately she felt shame and self-loathing fill her body as she did a visual examination of the blond haired child in front of her.

The child looked up at Tsunade with her ocean blue eyes, that still held innocence, even with the pain and sorrow present in the ocean blue eyes.

"Hi Honey, my name is Tsunade. The old man brought you here so that i can look after you," explained Tsunade in a gentle and calming tone.

Once Tsunade had done the medical examination her expression was grim and full of anger. See his students expression he explained what had happened and about Naruto's upbringing .

The next few months were Tsunade's happiest since the war , her purpose in life was now to do what she can for those in need and to protect Naruto with everything she had.

####Anko#####

"Damn witch, she is most probably waiting for the perfect time moment to betray the village just like her traitor of a teacher."

"Snake whore."

"Snake mistress."

Were some of the whispers that followed Anko as she walked down the streets, she put on her mask as a sadistic and cruel women, not showing how betrayed and hurt she felt by the comments and whispers made by those around her. However today was different today was Anko's birthday and she felt so alone. Her only friend was her boss, was busy interrogating prisoners. Unable to take the pain she went to the slums of the village and found an abandoned building to let her frustration and pain. By the end she was exhausted, she slide to the ground and pulled her knees up to her face and openly wept.

"Hey miss are you OK?" Asked a quiet voice.

This brought Anko to stop crying but she was to tired to put back on her mask.

"You know its OK to let your mask down once and a while, if you don't it just hurts more believe me I know," said the quiet voice.

Anko was about to respond that they couldn't possibly know what it feels like, until she saw the small blond haired boy step in front of her.

"This building belongs to me so if you do need to let down your mask or just talk just drop by," said the little boy as he gently gave Anko a hug. Something Anko had forgotten the sensation of.

Anko came often after that and had grown attached to Naruto. And once she managed to join Anbu she became one of Naruto's personal guards and friends. And after a while she and Naruto began to see each other as sisters (by then Anko new of Naruto's secret).

Anko had introduced Ibiki to Naruto who grew attached to each other, Naruto grew to see Ibiki as an Uncle.

Kakashi had known Naruto as a baby he was one of Naruto's Anbu guard and big brother from the beginning.

Iruka was one of the genin who watched over the Naruto when the orphan house refused to. As time passed Iruka's hatred for Naruto disappeared and it was through Naruto that he met his current boyfriend and near fiancée, Kakashi.

Naruto looked around and smiled, as she saw her twins smiling and trying so hard not to fall asleep. Naruto promised herself that the next family meeting would take place when, Jiraya wasn't busy and when Konohamaru wasn't at the academy.

She also thought about team 7 and team guy, maybe she should introduce them to the twins, sometime in the future.

Ino grinned as she saw her father retiring for the night, she waited another hour before she got out of bed and crept into her fathers study, she used her training to get into her father's files, s went through them until she found Naruto's. She frowned at the sear size of the folder. She then smiled thinking that Naruto was most properly a mental case or a psycho. She was so going to ruin Naruto's life.

Ino sat down and began to read and memorise Naruto's file. Soon three hours had pasted and Ino has cried and felt guilt more from just this flips into Naruto's life, then in her whole life.

She put everything back in their proper place before she retired to her bed to think over everything she had found out, the one thing she did know was that in the morning she was going to apologise to Naruto.

*****Omake 1******

Iruka had asked to look after the twins, so that he could get time with them. The one thing he didn't know was that he should never wake up the twins from their morning nap, he should have waited till they woke up. He would soon his lesson after the reaper twin got their revenge.

Ichigo and Orihime smiled innocently and politely as Iruka made them some dinner. This smiles soon turned malicious as they both looked at each other and nodded. Ichigo and Orihime began to cry and scream, scaring Iruka.

By the time Naruto came to pick them up Iruka had sung, cooked, read and run himself into exhaustion trying to please the twins and get them to stop crying. Not only that but the neighbours had been round again and again to complain and look disapprovingly.

The twins stopped crying the seconded Naruto came in they ran into her open arms and told Naruto about how much fun they had, much to Iruka's surprise and shock.

And as naruto said goodbye and turned around the twins glared at Iruka and held up a sign that read:

NEVER WAKE US FROM NAP TIME.

Iruka paled and pleaded with god that he wasn't their academy teacher, their mother was enough. Maybe he should just quit when they become that age.
