Figure it Out

Not only was Crowley planning something grand for his darling Clara, but he had to fix the damage he caused. She wasn't going to be happy until something was done with the Cromwell clan. Clara wanted them protected against everything, not just by Hell. He hated to do it, but to make his Queen happy, he would.

He summoned Nerilla and Juliet and once both began walking with him, he began communicating what he wanted.

"The Cromwells are going to be taken to a safe location until this is all over." He said and Nerilla remained silent, probably confused. "You will plaster the bloody place with sigils of all kinds and anything that tries to get in will be terminated. Understand?" he asked and she hesitantly responded.

"Sort of."

"Juliet will watch the perimeter and you'll be on the inside as their last defense." He added and she quickly voiced her concern.

"I'm your Lieutenant. What if you need me here? No one can replace me." she said and before she could continue, Crowley spoke with a grave voice.

"I need you with the Cromwells because any other demon will fail." He said and she remained silent, realizing that that was as close to a compliment as she was going to get. She smiled slightly and nodded her head.

"You got it." she said and Crowley stopped and turned to her, his eyes dark as if something was on his mind.

"But when Clara is in labour and ready to deliver, I'd like to say forget the Cromwell's and come to her defense, but if the angels get a hold of them, they might use them in some sort of hope for an exchange." He said and he didn't have to clarify: Nerilla knew what he meant. Never would Clara exchange her baby for Anne and her family. But, it would hurt Clara all the same. "Stay with Anne and do what you must." Crowley added and she nodded her head.

She left to fulfill his command as he went to the office to gather a few things. The blueprints he created were great, but he was going to add a few things into the construction to guarantee that his Queen and daughter would be safe.

Crowley gathered some of the spells and sigils he collected over the years and placed them into a folder and walked back to the location of his grand project. Nikolai was there, supervising the demons that had already begun the construction. Crowley was a little impressed: never had he seen his demons move so quickly when he gave an order.

He walked up to Nikolai and he slapped the folder against his chest. His hands shot out of his pockets to take the folder and to look inside. He flipped through the spells and the sigils and glanced at Crowley with an arched eyebrow.

"Once the walls have been formed, I want these done." He said as he watched his demons work harder than they ever did their whole existence.

"You want me to do these?" Nikolai asked and looked through them again. Crowley glanced at his Knight and frowned.

"I'll do them, you just notify me when the walls are up and ready." he said and Nikolai nodded and closed the folder, meeting the dark eyes of his King.

"Some of the spells here are for when you –" Nikolai began, but Crowley cut him off.

"Don't think I know that?" he asked with a sharp tone. "It's for Clara and Keara." He added and Nikolai nodded his head and looked back at the demons. He was a little impressed by his King's selflessness and his love for his Queen and daughter. It was almost undemon-like. "Speak a word of it to anyone and you'll –" Crowley said and Nikolai glanced at his King with a smirk.

"Oh save your idol threats." Nikolai said and saw a slight twitch at the corner of Crowley's mouth, like he was fighting a grin. "You can't do shit to me and I plan on keeping these morons clueless anyway." He added and then Crowley grinned. "I told one that you were building a church of Hell while I told another it'll be a court of law for asshole demons." He said and Crowley then glanced at him with an arched eyebrow. Nikolai met his gaze and grinned.

"You have a twisted sense of humor." Crowley said and Nikolai smiled as if that was a compliment.

"Don't we all?" Nikolai asked and glanced at the demons who occasionally glanced over their shoulders to see if the Knight and the King were satisfied so far with the work that they have done. When Nikolai snapped and put some fear into the demons, Crowley knew he had it all under control and left him to supervise.
