Hi y'all! It's been a 1,000,000 years since you've heard anything from me! Well, I'm not dead, I was just busy. :)
I don't own Star Wars the Clone Wars... but I can dream, right?
Obi Wan slowly nodded back into consciousness only to be met with a world of pain. His head was still pounding from the blows of the ignorant droid general. He began to try and move, but found himself unable due to the fact that both his arms and his legs were bound by shackles. As he tried to get a better look at himself to assess any injuries, he felt something shift on his neck. Obi Wan glanced down to see a force inhibitor strapped just below his chin... so much for breaking the chains.
His attention was brought to the glowing ray shield, when it flickered off and General Grievous stepped in. "General Kenobi, I see you have woken up."
"No, really? I didn't notice." Obi Wan dead panned, regretting it after he received a swift, mechanical blow to his head.
"Retort all you want, Kenobi, but none of your pathetic Jedi friends will ever find you... until we deliver your cold corpse to them." Grievous rasped before falling into a coughing fit.
Obi Wan watched as the General regained his composure. "If you're finished, would you be ever so kind as to tell me why the Jedi won't find me?"
"Because they won't dare to go near here, Kenobi. They'll leave you for dead once they learn where you are."
"And where would that be?" Obi Wan had a growing feeling in the pit of his stomach about his whereabouts, but he refused to believe it.
"I thought you'd recognize it from the last time you were here. To verify, you are at the Citadel, and here you will rot." If Grievous could grin, an evil smile would be plastered to his face.
Obi Wan closed his eyes; he had been, unfortunately, correct about where he was... and he knew it would take a lot of fire power for the Jedi to rescue him. They had barely made it out the last time, and he was sure that security had been doubled since.
"What's wrong, Jedi? No witty response? I had hoped for so more!" Grievous' taunts didn't get passed Obi Wan's ears as he was focused on the open door. If only he could break the chains... but with the force inhibitor, that was out of the question.
"Well, Kenobi, I'll let you get used to your new home, and tomorrow, the fun will really begin." Grievous hissed as he trotted out of the room, the two magnaguards following.
...
Anakin paced back and forth monotonously in his and Ahsoka's quarters on the Twilight. "Where would Grievous take him?" Anakin repeated that question multiple times before listing off just about every planet in Seperatist space.
"Master, just think. It wouldn't just be any planet. Master Kenobi is one of the most famous Jedi. Capturing him is a huge gain for the Separatists. It would be a well held down planet." Ahsoka could tell the wheels in her Master's head were working over time on where Obi Wan was.
"There are still a lot... I mean... too many to thoroughly search." Anakin tried yet again to reach Obi Wan through their bond, but the opposite side was vacant.
"Well, what's the planet with the highest security?" Ahsoka began.
"The Citadel, but they wouldn't take Obi Wan there... would they?" Anakin knew in his heart that the Citadel was the most likely place for them to take his former master, but he could only hope that they hadn't.
"We should inform the Council." Ahsoka said, apAnakin nodded, silently praying that Obi Wan was somewhere else... anywhere other than the Hell that was the Citadel.
