'Ichigo-chan you look so pretty na no da!' Pudding gave a small giggle.
'I really don't see the point for this,' Ichigo gave a sigh as she looked at herself again in the mirror.
'But you still look pretty cute,' Ryou grinned.
'Ryou…Shut up!' Ichigo growled angrily.
Ryou did as he was told but still had the grin in his face. Not wanting to make Ichigo turn red with anger, he left the room.
Ichigo silently cursed at him under her breath when he left, she looked back at herself in the mirror one more time. She was wearing a long red dress and her hair was tied up into two ponytails - like always. She was wearing high heels that made her look taller than she already was. There was a beautiful bracelet in her wrist and she was covered with make-up.
'Ichigo hurry up!' Ichigo heard Zakuro call from out of the room.
'I am coming,' Ichigo replied.
The café was beautifully decorated. The tables were all clean and there was no dirt on the floor. For the first time, it wasn't Ichigo who cleaned all of those up. The only people in the café was the Mews and – of course – Ryou and Keiichiro. There was no one else in there. Ichigo didn't expect anyone to be there anyway, the café was closed after all.
Ichigo felt a hand in her shoulder, she turned around and smiled. It was Lettuce.
'Happy birthday,' Lettuce smiled back as she gave her a present which was neatly wrapped in a box.
'Thank you!' Ichigo said giving her friend a quick hug.
'Why do you look so sad?' Lettuce asked.
'I am not sad,' Ichigo told her.
Lettuces looked at her for a moment but kept he smile on, 'Then let's go and cut your cake.'
Ichigo never saw such a beautiful cake. It was finely decorated with icing and chocolate. Just looking at it made her hungry but at the same time she felt a little guilty. The cake was nearly too pretty to eat.
'I baked it myself,' Keiichiro whispered in Ichigo's ear, 'Enjoy.'
Ichigo smiled at him, 'You are the best baker I have ever known, thank you so much!'
Keiichiro replied with a friendly smile.
Everyone started singing 'happy birthday' for Ichigo. When that was done, Ichigo blew the candles of her cake. She heard loud cheers as she did so. Pudding was jumping up and down in excitement.
Ichigo took a deep breath and looked at everyone, 'I am fifteen,' Ichigo gave a giggle.
Ichigo spent the rest of the night in the café with her friends but soon it was time to go home and the party was over. She could hardly believe another year had passed. Another year without Kisshu. She tried not to think about him but always managed to enter in her mind one way or the other. He did say that he was going to come back but she was tired of waiting and was starting to think he will never be back. After all, he lived in another planet. But if only she could find a way of seeing him…
Ichigo gave a sigh and went to stand over the balcony. It was nearly time to go home and it felt nice to be with her friends once in a while. Although she was only fifteen, she felt really old. Ichigo looked up at the night sky and watched the stars glistening. She loved the way they filled the whole sky with shiny lights. And somewhere at the sky, was Kisshu.
Ichigo closed her eyes enjoying the cold wind gently blow in her face, 'Kisshu…' she whispered, 'When will you come back?'
Ichigo was so busy daydreaming she didn't hear the quiet noise of footsteps. She didn't hear someone walking up to her.
Ichigo opened her eyes and turned around to leave. It was getting late and if she wasn't home on time her parents would be worried. But when she turned around she saw someone standing in front of her. Ichigo blinked a couple of times to see who it was.
And then, she gasped. There he was. Standing right in front of her. She has been waiting for him for so long and now he was finally here. She didn't know what to do.
He slowly walked up to her and smiled, 'Happy birthday.'
Ok guys, the next chapter is going to be the last chapter for this story. Once I finish this story I will start working on my next story but I don't know when that is going to be yet. So yeah...That's really all I wanted to say. So I will see you in the next chapter! Bye!
