Author's note: Ah, I 'm so behind with updating! I'm sorry guys! I wasn't really satisfied with the original chapter that I wrote, so I completely re-wrote it. I hope that it's alright.

My eye widen as I see the familiar faces walk up to me. Hibari's training with the Bronco at school today and I thought that I should get some more food. "Ken! Chikusa!" I exclaim. "When did you two get back?" I ask. I look at they're expressions. They look really serious for some reason. "Did…Onii-chan not manage to escape?" I ask a bit sadly. Ken nods. No wonder they're expressions are a bit serious. Even though I feel sad too, I manage to smile a little. "Well, Onii-chan made sure that the three of us escaped, so that means we'll just have to break him out, right?"
"Yeah!" Ken agrees enthusiastically. Even Chikusa looks a bit relieved. I'm glad that I was able to cheer them up a little bit.
Chikusa asks, "Hisoka, where have you been staying until now?"
"I've been living with Hibari-san," I reply. I'm a bit surprised that Chikusa asks me this for some reason. "It was a lot easier that way," I explain.
"With that guy?" Ken asks. "The duck?"
I nod. "Something like that."
"You are planning on coming back with us, aren't you?" Chikusa asks.
My eyes widen a little. I had planned to in the beginning, but… "M-Maybe," I reply slowly. I shuffle my feet. "Um, do you guys think I could get some time to figure something out?" I ask.
"Huh? What's the matter with you, Hisoka?" Ken asks. "Don't tell me you got attached to the duck."
"Ken," Chikusa warns. "Sorry for Ken's behavior, Hisoka. Just let us know when you figure something out."
I nod. "Okay," I reply. "Thanks, Chikusa, Ken." I watch as they walk off and go back to Kokuyo Land.
I poke at my food as I have dinner with Hibari after he comes back from his training. "Hibari-san?" I start. He looks at me. "Do you find me annoying?" I ask.
"No," he replies. He seems bored, so I guess that I'm not really annoying him if anything. "I've told you before, haven't I? You remind me of a small animal."
I nod. "I remember," I reply. "I never really did understand that though…"
"Small animals seem weak, but if they were, they would have already been defeated by now and would no longer exist," he explains, "They still exist, so even if they do see weak, they must have their way of surviving."
I think about what he said for a bit and smile. "Mmm, I can see what you mean." I giggle. "That really does kind of sound like me." That's so perceptive of him.
"What was your point though?" he asks.
"Oh, that," I start slowly. Well, there's no point in trying to beat around the bush with him. "Ken and Chikusa are back," I explain.
He seems to realize what this means because he asks, "Well? What do you plan on doing then?"
"Ken and Chikusa can't cook too well, so I know that they'll need someone to cook for them or else they'll end up eating packaged food all the time," I start. I pout. "But I want to be selfish sometimes too," I mutter. "What I mean to say was that, um, I guess that I like staying here with you though," I say. "I wanted to make sure that I wasn't annoying you though," I explain sheepishly. Hibari kind of just stares at me, so I look away uncomfortably. I thought crosses my mind. "Would it be alright if I stayed here with you, but went to deliver food to Ken and Chikusa?" I ask. My heart starts to beat quickly. I don't even know why I'm so nervous though. Finally, he nods and I smile at him. "Really?" I ask happily. "Thanks!" I missed Ken and Chikusa, but I'm happy here too. When Onii-chan comes back, I may have to reconsider, but for now, I think that I'll stay here. Besides, Onii-chan always said that I can do as I please.
I eat my dinner and look up when Kusakabe comes into the room. "I've finished the patrol. There's nothing to report," he asks.
"Hello, Kasakabe-san," I greet. "You seem like you're working hard as usual. It must be tiring. Do you want something to eat?" I ask.
He smiles at me and nods. "That would be nice, thank you. What did you make tonight?" he replies.
"Tofu soup," I reply as I get up and head into the kitchen to get Kusakabe a bowl. He's not surprised to see me here anymore. I guess my presence is starting to become normal?
I head to Kokuyo Land with a few bentos in hand. "Ken! Chikusa!" I call out. I fiddle with my hair as I wait for the footsteps to get louder. "Morning," I greet with a smile.
"Hisoka! Are you going to cook?" Ken asks. He seems really happy. I laugh as he starts to sniff the bentos. "There's food in here isn't there?"
"That's where you're supposed to put food, Ken," Chikusa says.
"Shut it, Kakipi!" Ken retorts, "It's not like you weren't looking forward to eating real food too."
I hand it to Ken. "Here. It's for you and Chikusa," I say with a smile.
"Why in a bento though?" Chikusa asks.
That's what I was waiting for. "Ah, well," I start. I look at the ground. "Um, I- I think that I'll be staying with Hibari-san for a little longer," I explain, "I'm going to deliver food to you guys all the time, but I'm going to continue to go to Nami-Middle."
"What? What's so great about the duck?" Ken asks.
"Ken," Chikusa says. He turns to me and nods. "Alright, Hisoka. You can just ignore Ken's comments."
I smile. "Thanks."
