Author's Note: Sorry, this came a little later than I expected. I had problems uploading this one for some reason. Anyways, I thought that it would be nice to have a chapter showing what Hisoka does for the Family as an adult. I hope you enjoy it!

Disclaimer: I do not own Katekyo Hitman Reborn.

I laugh lightly as I play with Lambo with Fuuta. "Ahh, I'd nearly forgotten how cute Lambo and I-Pin were ten years ago," I say with a smile.

"That's right. You played with us a lot when you went to Tsuna-nii's house," Fuuta says.

"You were pretty cute too, Fuuta," I add.

"I think that I'm the one who's supposed to call you cute now, Hisoka-nee," Fuuta replies.

I laugh. "I guess so. You're so much taller than me now," I reply. "It's too bad. I still remember when you were this short," I say, putting my hand down to around my waist show who short he used to be. "Aww, I want to go back and play with you three as kids again," I say. "I'd use my illusions and bring all those adventures to life." I smile at cow kid. "Isn't that right, Lambo?" He cheers.

Kyoya comes into the room and even Lambo stops laughing. Fuuta smiles a little and picks Lambo up. "Let's go find I-Pin and play a game, alright?" he asks. Lambo nods and Fuuta smiles at me. "I'll talk to you later, Hisoka-nee." I smile and nod.

I wait for them to leave before I turn to Kyoya. "I thought you liked children," I comment.

"That one isn't a child anymore," he replies.

"Huh?" I ask. "Wait- Don't tell me you're jealous of Fuuta," I say with wide eyes. He frowns at me. "Kyoya, please. Fuuta's nineteen. The age gap is inappropriate!" I decide to tease him, so I smirk. "Maybe if I was four or five years younger though…" I start.

He glares at me.

"What are you giving me that look for, Kyoya?" I ask. "You really are jealous, aren't you?"

He continues to frown at me. I take his hand and kiss him. "Don't be jealous. You know I love you, Kyo-" He cuts me off with another kiss.

I sigh. "We're nearly out of time, huh?" I say. It's quiet for a moment. I decide to put on a smile. "Well, I'll make to take wonderful care of younger-self."

"Of course you will," he replies.

I smile at him and stand up. "I should start making lunch now. What do you want to eat today?"

"Get Tetsu to cook it."

"Eh?" I ask. I laugh as I realize what he's up to. It's his way of saying that he wants to spend more time with me. He gives me a look and I beam at him. "I'll go find him then."

I sigh quietly as I end up at the main base. Since I'm good with PR type work, I ended up managing most of the communications for the Vongola Family. Unfortunately, I get some business that I have to deal with immediately. "Fran-kun!" I exclaim as the teal-haired boy appears on the screen.

"Can you not do that?" Fran asks. "It's always weird talking to you when you pretend to be cute an innocent. You're getting too old and wrinkly for that."

I sigh. "Alright. Let's get right to it then, Fran," I reply. "Things are all in order to commence the operation on your side, right?"

"Yeah, it'd be great if we had some capable people around though," he replies.

"Voi! I heard that, Fran!" Squalo exclaims in the background.

I chuckle. "You'd be better off keeping those opinions to yourself, Fran. I need you alive for a while longer. You still have some use after this, after all."

"You look too scary when you get that weird glint in your eye. It always happens when you start to talk about other people like pawns," Fran replies.

"Well, you are just a pawn, so it doesn't really matter what you think of me," I reply with a sweet smile.

"Your acting is too weird, Hisoka," he complains. "Your tones and expressions never fit your words correctly."

I give him a deadpanned look. "You're the last person I want to hear that from." I frown. "Aside from that, you're still addressing me so casually?"

"My tone is perfect." He gives me a thumbs up. "You're just like a little kid, so it's fine."

"I'm older than you!" I exclaim.

"You should try acting like it sometimes," he replies.

"I do," I reply with a quiet sigh. I smile a little and shake my head. He wouldn't take me seriously when he has a kid. It took a while just to get him to talk to me like this. "I'm the only one who's mature enough to let you talk to me like this without getting angry."

He seems to consider it. "You must be in love with me then," he concludes quickly. "Hisoka, that's really inappropriate."

"Kyoya would kill you if he heard that," I reply.

He gulps and then gives me this strange look. It's hard to describe. It looks like of like a puppet or a robot. "Please accept my sincerest apologies, Rokudo-sama."

"Apology accepted. You are pardoned for the time being," I reply. I shake m head. "All joking aside, if you're all set on your side, then we're done here. I do hope that our 'family-wide chess tournament' goes smoothly." I end the call. I sigh and prepare myself for the next one. I call the Cavallone Family.

Dino appears on the screen. "Oh, it's you, Hisoka," he says.

I nod. "Good morning, Dino-san. I'm sorry for arranging a business call so early in the morning," I reply with a faint smile. "I hope I didn't cause too much trouble for you."

He smiles. "It's alright. You're just checking in on us to see if we're prepared for the 'chess tournament,' right?"

"Yes." I nod. "Is everything in order?"

He nods. "We're all set over here."

"That's good to hear."

"Oh, thanks for sending your friend over to help with strategies," Dino says. "He's really good."

I smile. "I'm glad that he was able to help," I reply. "It's sure to be grueling on your side, especially with this regional-styled tournament going on. I do hope that your family can make it far enough to compete with us though."

"We'll do our best," he replies.

"Thank you." I smile at him. "Well, I wouldn't want to take up too much of your time."

"It's no problem at all," he replies. "Thanks for checking up on all of us to make sure everything is going well."

I laugh. "You're welcome," I reply. "Well, have a nice day."

"You too, Hisoka." I end the call.

The door opens suddenly and I turn to look. "Hm?" I ask. "Tsuna-san?"

"A-Ah, sorry!" Tsuna exclaims. "This is the wrong room!"

I laugh. "It's alright."

He nods, but then he looks at me blankly. "What are you doing here though?"

"Ah, that's right. You don't know yet, since I didn't start with this until about four or five years ago." I start. "You actually made me the Vongola Family's public relations officer of some sorts."

"I did?!" he exclaims.

I laugh again. "Why are you so surprised, Tsuna-san? You were the one who thought of it to begin with."

"I did?!" he exclaims again.

I smile at him and nod. "It was a wonderful move on your part, for that matter," I praise. "See, around seven or eight years ago, Reborn-san began to give me jobs from all around the world. At first, I thought it was because I was good with picking up languages, so it was easier to send me all over the place, but I noticed that I kept running into some really talented people. Naturally, I befriended them."

"'Naturally'?" he asks.

I nod. "I figured that they could be useful in the future either to help Onii-chan with his goals or help the family."

He gives me a deadpanned look. "Those are two really different goals, Hisoka-chan."

I chuckle. "Well, that wasn't really the point. The point was that I began to befriend gifted people who I could call on for favors in the future. With connections like that, it became an easy feat to create teams tailored to compete certain jobs," I say.

"Huh? Really?"

I nod. "For example, Reborn-san gave me a job to which required me to infiltrate and take over a heavily guarded building once. I was supposed to assassinate a man who was staying there.

"A place like that exists?!" he exclaims.

"Of course it does. There are lots of them, Tsuna-san," I reply with a laugh. "It was a hotel for the richest of the rich. It was pretty well known that a bunch of shady dealings took place there, but that's not the point," I explain. "Anyways, I happened to know a group of people who had done something very similar with me in the past, so I called them them. They were all trained assassins, but each had their own specialties, of course. My infiltrating team ended up being an extremely professional sniper, a cheery honeypot, a cunning martial artist, a gifted assassin, and an all-rounder. Behind them was a separate prep team with a genius hacker, a detail oriented strategist, a wannabe kudere Senpai in charge of our costumes, and a eccentric make-up artist. I also had a top-notch med team on standby just in case," I say. "I got them all into helping out by pulling favors and trades, which cost the Family nothing, letting me bring back most of the reward."

Tsuna's eyes are wide with a mix of amazement and fear. "Wow…"

"But most importantly, perhaps with Reborn-san's help, you realized that I was good with talking to other people and made me the representative," I reply. "Your reasoning was perfect as well. My appearance didn't make people feel intimidated and when combined with my personality, it was easy to create alliances and get many Families back onto friendly terms and keep it that way." I smirk. "And when all else failed, I let my personality do a complete 360 and scared them into submission."

Tsuna yelps and I laugh. He seems to calm down quickly though. "Ah, so just now you were talking to other Families?"

I nod. "Just checking up on everyone to make sure that the preparations for the worldwide invasion on the Milliefiore where going smoothly. If not, I would have sent people to go help out. Luckily, it seems like everything is in order."

"Wow… everyone grows up to become such amazing people," Tsuna says.

I smile at him. "You do too, Tsuna-san," I reply. "Don't forget that, alright? Keep going on as you always do and become the amazing Tsuna-san that even Kyoya and Onii-chan respect." My expression falls and Tsuna looks a bit surprised. "Everyone here… We all love you Tsuna-san. We all took it hard when you passed, so I'm glad that we have this chance to create a future where everyone can smile continue to live together in peace."

Tsuna nods. "Yeah," he agrees firmly.

"Good."

Tsuna looks at me and says quite suddenly, "Oh, I heard from Onii-san the other day that you and Hibari-san were planning on getting married right before things with the Millifiore got bad."

I nod. "Yeah, we put it on hold for now. It wouldn't be very enjoyable if we were all worried about fighting, after all." I chuckle. "Sasagawa-san says 'planning,' which makes it sound really organized, but in reality, Kyoya just gave me the ring one day during breakfast and said, 'Marry me.'"

"Eh?!" Tsuna exclaims. "Is that even proposing? It sounds more like an order!"

"Right?" I ask. "It's just like him though." I smile. "I'm glad that I got to talk to you like this, Tsuna-san. I really missed talking to you. You should get back to training though. Kyoya'll be upset with you if you don't reach his standards."

"Right…" he replies with a sigh.

"I'm sure that you can do it. You've always managed to. I believe in you, Boss." I smile at him and head out of the room only to find Kyoya right outside the door waiting for me.

"You took your time with the herbivore," Kyoya replies.

I smile at him. "That's no way to be talking about your boss-to-be, Kyoya," I reply. "Or are you just jealous again?" He gives me a look and I continue to smile at him as we head down the hall together. He takes my hand though. Oh? That's rare...

We nearly make it back to our side of the base when Reborn comes over to us. "Hisoka, Ganinni said that another family needs to talk," he says.

Kyoya glares. "Alright, I'll get to it right away," I say with a sigh. Reborn nods and leaves. "I'll be back soon, alright?" I kiss him on the cheek and head down the hall again.

When I get back to our side of the base, I change into a yukata because Kyoya changed out of his suit. I sit down next to Kyoya and put my head on his shoulder after I finish changing. "I'm exhausted…"

"You took a long time again." He frowns at me.

"I know… It was that really slow family in Greece again," I reply. "It took them a bit to wake up." I sigh. "Well, at least we're alone now." At that moment, Sasagawa chooses to invade our base and pick a fight with Kyoya. I sigh as I have some tea and watch the two of them fight. We're really not going to be able to spend any time alone today, are we?
