Demyx awoke in a void, pure darkness surrounding him. He felt that he could walk around a bit, but there was only pitch black, and he couldn't see his own hands in front of his face. The young man got up, and walked forward, or at least what he assumed was forward, unable to actually see where his feet were taking him. Then, he felt something. A form tangled around his right foot, then his left, Demyx was screaming at the top of his lungs, calling out to darkness.

"Zexion! Cmon man lemme out! I'm sorry I'll never touch your book again! Xiggy? Xemnas? Man even Saix, if you're there that would be great too!"

Demyx screamed the names of everyone in the Organization over the next minute, when a deep, dark voice shattered the otherwise silent abyss.

"YOU. YOU HAVE DISTURBED MY TRANQUILITY."

"Tranquility? You're hilarious!" Demyx laughed back, which only angered the voice, the forms on his legs tightening.

"AND YET YOU DARE MOCK ME?"

Demyx knew he really screwed up with that joke. His legs were losing feeling, and he screamed in agony and apologetically, for Demyx was truly scared now. Suddenly his breathing got shallow, and he gasped for air as he reached for his neck. Forms, this time shaped like chains, reached for his arms and pinned them to the ground. Demyx was standing in an X shape at this point, choking back words as the voice began to rumble and begin another phrase.

"DEMYX. YOU KNOW NOT WHAT YOU HAVE ENTERED INTO. THIS LEXICON IS MORE THAN JUST SOME SIMPLE SPELLBOOK. AND AS OF NOW, YOU KNOW FAR TOO MUCH OF THE MINIMUM POWER."

Minimum...Demyx thought, as his eyes began to water and he felt nearly about to pass out. You mean this little book can do even more?

The voice spoke once more, but this time it sounded afraid itself.

"Demyx...why did you have to touch the book. There's a reason...-"

The voice cut out, and Demyx was released from his chains. He fell to the floor, and calmly got up. He made a small chuckle, then gasped. The room had lightened up, but what he saw around him was not what he expected.

There was Zexion, lying on his bed. But he looked younger. Demyx scanned the room some more. It wasn't in the Castle. So where was he?
