OK Shikamaru you are next." Foregoing his catchphrase he began, " I like sleeping, clouds, strategy, and a girl. I dislike work, loud noises, and most blondes. Dreams for the future take over my dad's job." While a little surprised Anko went next, " I like poisons, dango, pranks and an idiot. I dislike spicy things, blood, and predictability. Dreams for the future be a good ninja and have a family." Naruto who had just opened a somehow cold bottled cola began, " I like soda, ramen, kenjutsu, and maybe someone. I dislike perverts, a certain book series, and uniformity. Dreams for the future are make bonds and become the best kenjutsu master." Somehow he had said that all without pause and finished his soda.
" You may be wondering why you were put on a team like this. well the answer is so very simple. You three will be taught everything I know and become my legacy."
( Present Time)
" WTF! Are you serious?" Anko was obviously happy with the arrangements if a bit suspicious.
" Yes I am one of the few who can be this awesome!" Naruto was having delusions of grandeur.
"Why?" Leave it to Shikamaru to Shikamaru to be the party pooper and the voice of reason.
" To answer your question Shikamaru each of you has an aptitude and or an interest in separate fields that I have a form of mastery over. You Shikamaru will be taught the scientific and ninjutsu aspects of the ninja world. You Anko have been chosen to receive my Snake taijutsu and ninjutsu. Lastly you Naruto will be taught kenjutsu and fuuinjutsu." As Orochimaru finished his monologue he had to laugh at the star-struck expressions that appeared on his students faces.
" Troublesome. Okay I will deal with this training but only that training. At least I have decent teammates." This was the official beginning of a legend.
(Time Skip 1 Week)
The team was once again sitting in their cave and just beginning training for the day. They had all finished their physical training and were beginning to get serious. On one side of the clearing Shikamaru sat with an Orochimaru clone. Specialized training was just beginning so he was reading. Today the book was a book about the elements and various uses of them. the goal was to allow him to counter and use the elements effectively.
Elsewhere Anko practicing the first stances of the snake style taijutsu. 'punch, punch, sweep kick, chop…". Pure repetition used to slowly ever so slowly memorize the moves. " Enough anko it is time for you to take the next step in your training." Anko's eyes widened as because she knew what that meant. " Yes it is time for you to sign the snake contract." Appearing in a puff of smoke behind him was a large scroll out lined by purple on both sides.
Then there was the horde. A mass of things swinging swords in a way that seemed to be pure chaos. But no this was Naruto abusing the shit out of the shadow clone jutsu. Yet that was not the most horrifying thing. No that was the fact that even more narutos were sitting there reading and writing. The smiles on their faces suggesting utter joy yep naruto was utterly in love with fuuinjutsu.
