Janet stood before the large metal door Aoife and Lyrica stood to her right Sayuki was on her left. Vasuki was holding up King who was barely awake but she didn't need to be fully awake. Lupe was holding Ajaw by the shoulder not much was needed to persuade Ajaw to do what they wanted. Janet looked to Lupe then Vasuki, "Open them."

Vasuki lifted King's hand up and placed it on a panel it scanned his hand before a voice spoke, "Code please?"

King coughed a bit of blood, "By my blood and by my soul I am Royal" She was then dropped to the floor by Vasuki. By my blood and by my soul I am Royal

Ajaw put his hand on the scanner on his side then spoke up, "By my blood and by my soul I am Royal" He then fell to the ground twitching two needles sticking out of his spine.

Lupe smiled, "So he won't do anything stupid."

Janet nodded and watched as the door slowly rose up she shrunk down and got ready to fight, "Be prepared for anything."

This area was a stark contrast from the room before the floor was gold with accents of Yule marble to help it glow. The walls were rhodium and the ceiling was engraved platinum the entire room was lit through the walls small pin sized holes were in specific areas removing all shadows. The throne however was the center piece it had two pillars one made of African black wood with its trade mark black and white the other was pink Ivory they were each carved in a spiral pattern with a crown like shape at the top. The back of the chair was made of three large gems cut perfectly to shine in the light the gems were painite, musgravite and alexandite. The seat was made from a single crystal one that came from a certain cave in Mexico. The seat had fabric mode from vicuna wool and one could only guess what the pad was stuffed with. The entire throne sat on a pedestal made from all the expensive materials of the throne it was indeed a throne for an emperor.

Emperor sat on it his cape draped behind him in his hands was a large sword the blade was made of polished rhodium wrapped in golden thorn covered vines coming from the cross guard. Then grip was wrapped in platinum chain and the pommel was a solid piece of benitoite the sword was passed down from Emperor to Emperor for who know how long yet it lookedas if it had just been made. "So my King and Ajaw were useless." He gripped his sword, "Then I guess it is up to me to end this." He slowly rose up it was only then that the size of the sword could be determined it was at least five feet long, "Now then shall I take all of you on at once?"

Lupe stepped forward, "Janet we are taking what we were promised."

Janet nodded, "You kept up your end and did as you were told I will let you two go after him first."

Lupe looked to Vasuki, "let's show him what we can do." He drew out four needles as Vasuki pulled out two knives, "No need for strategy let's just do it."

Vasuki nodded charging in over his shoulder he felt the wind of Lupe's needles a nice cover attack. He watched as King tossed his cape over his arm the entire thing turned white and became solid the needles bounced off it. Vasuki closed in at that second going down low then popping up with a knife intended for Emperor's neck. Emperor kicked the sword flicking it up towards Vasuki who stepped back before his blade could touch Emperor neck. Emperor's cape became soft again just in time for him to spin around letting go of his sword to throw a punch right into Lupe's jaw. Lupe had circled around trying to attack from behind but was caught before he could attack Emperor would grab his sword as he finished spinning and thrusts it at Vasuki who crossed his knives to block the tip yet be pushed back and fall to the ground. Emperor flipped the sword over his right shoulder hitting Lupe as he got up. It seemed to those watching that Emperor was toying with the other two. Vasuki threw both knives at Emperor as he got up Emperor blocked them with his cape this time only the points the knives touched became solid. Vasuki caught his knives as they came back to him. Vasuki tossed both knives Emperor not even moving as they went passed his head. Lupe caught the knives on the other side of Emperor then they both flipped sideways the wire attached to the knives would twist and tighten around Emperor's neck. At least that was what was supposed to happen Emperor however ran forward placing his shoulder on the flat side of his sword and slammed into Vasuki's chest as he was in mind air. Vasuki was sent flying backwards dragging Lupe forward. King would drop out from between the wires roll passed Lupe as he got close then to add insult he would kick Lupe in the ass.

Lupe rolled across the ground letting go of the knives as he came to a stop, "He is toying with us."

Vasuki spat to his side, "I know he hasn't even used the edge of his sword."

Lupe got up, "This time you follow me." Lupe ran forward taking out 80 needles he through them up in a high arc. Then dropping down onto one knee he braced his back Vasuki would run up his back and leap into the air flying over the king Vasuki released a dark blue smoke from his mouth at the same time as a green smoke.

Vasuki landed on the on the ground and released his orange smoke running in a circle around Emperor then in a hoarse, "explode in praise from deep in my soul!" He struck his knives together creating a spark the orange smoke exploded inwards at Ki Emperor ng.

Emperor spun around his cape turning white taking the explosions force before he flipped it over his head just as the 80 needles broke through the smoke above his head. The needles fell onto his cape but did not bounce off they stuck to it creating a spiked wall that would slam down into his back. Emperor knew all of Vasuki's smokes he had used a corrosive smoke along with his poison smoke. The corrosive smoke gathered onto the needles like moisture and melted them enough so when they hit the cape they would eat through the hardened cape and stick to it the poison would have been drawn in with the corrosive liquid coating the needles in it. He undid the clasps and tossed the cape aside they had taken his shield. "Very good now let's see if you can keep up to me now." Emperor placed the tip of his sword on the ground again holding it by the pommel with his left hand.

Lupe took several needles in his mouth then pulled out two scalpels ones he knew Janet would recognize as he had used them on her. "We will."

Vasuki spun his knives in his hand holding them at the end with the blades pointed down he then charged in stopping just out of Emperor's range he unleashed a cloud of blue smoke. He hated this gas more than the rest because it burnt his throat and forced him to no longer speak.

Emperor let go of the swords pommel quickly bringing his right hand to the handle he created a powerful slash upwards the wind behind it dispersing the gas. Emperor would release the sword at the end of his slash turn around and kick Lupe in the chest. Lupe would take the kick and thrust both scalpels down towards Emperor's leg. Emperor pulled his leg back grabbing his sword midair he would bring it down right at Lupe. Lupe jumped back and Emperor dropped to the ground as Vasuki slashed at him. Emperor rolled to the side popping up he thrusts this sword right at Vasuki who knocked it down and then stepped on it with a smile. Emperor let go of the sword and through his fist at the shocked Vasuki who thought he had trapped the blade. Vasuki would stumble back as the fist hit his jaw he would recover quickly and charge in determined to keep Emperor from picking up his sword. However Emperor was quick to grab his sword with his left hand and do a full spin to give him a bit of space as Lupe had tried to close in at the same time.

Emperor placed the tip of his sword on the ground again holding the pommel once more with his left hand, "five minutes is all I need to end this." As he spoke a purple timer appeared in the air with five minutes on it. "Say when?"

Lupe nodded, "When." He charged in slashing at Emperor with his scalpels but found his target was gone.

Emperor had let go of the pommel with his left hand and ran straight at Vasuki he would catch the sword with his right hand flicking it back so the blade ran along his arm. He would drive the pommel right into his sternum with enough force to send Vasuki flying across the room.

Vasuki could not react it was too quick, no that wasn't it king had disrupted the air flow made a blind spot. That was al Vasuki thought before the pain hit him all his lungs releasing their smoke creating a cloud of color with a trail that followed his body. He felt every second of pain until he passed out when his head hit the wall he was done the clock reading 4:45. It took only 15 seconds from when the Emperor said he was going to get serious to stop Vasuki now it was up Lupe to end this for them.

Lupe watched this stunned for a second then he laughed an evil laugh, "Well he did better than I thought." Lupe charged towards Emperor slashing rapidly with his scalpels each slashed blocked with ease by Emperor who kept his sword in his right hand still pointed down. Lupe would spit forward a needle at Emperor's neck, Emperor would simply lean out of the way this exchange of slash and block went on until the timer read four minutes.

Emperor would then step to the side swinging his sword hard and fast into the side of Lupe the sword had no truly flat edge the golden thorny vines made sure of it. The strike would break four of Lupe's ribs the thorns creating puncture wounds that would begin to drip blood. The force of the hit would contort Lupe's body into a c shape then he would go flying hitting a rhodium walls denting it in.

Lupe would get up slowly his left side covered in blood his right arm dislocated at both the shoulder and elbow. Lupe stumbled a bit coughing up a bit of blood as a gash in his forehead broke open when he spoke blood dripping into his eyes, "You think pain like this can knock me out." He gripped his right forearm with his left hand and then held it out to his side before he dropped down onto snapping all his bones back into place. He pushed several pins into his chest reinforcing his broken ribs, "Have you forgotten I feel no pain."

The Emperor placed the tip of his sword on the ground holding the pommel with his left hand and the handle with the right, "I know that but there is other ways to stop you now you might want to hurry and win you only have 2:30 left."

Lupe pulled out more needles throwing them at Emperor who simply ducked under them and charged at Lupe who was doing the same. They met in the middle of the throne room Lupe had placed more needles in his mouth and was spitting them rapidly at Emperor. Emperor would dodge them with quick movements before swing his blade at Lupe who jumped back and dove in behind the swing slashing at Emperor with a scalpel. Emperor flicked the blade so the pommel came up striking Lupe's arm and blocking the slash. Lupe flicked his foot up four needles would come straight at Emperor's throat. Emperor leaned back letting the needles scrape the chin of his mask lifting his right leg up at the same time he would kick Lupe in the chest pushing him back. Emperor stepped in towards Lupe, who was stumbling backwards, Emperor came with a quick single handed upwards slash that Lupe easily dodged. Emperor would let go of the sword with his right hand just as his left hand was coming down and grabbing it he would come with a powerful downward slash right onto Lupe's right shoulder driving him into the ground. Emperor would grab the sword with both hands and with a golf like swing hit Lupe in the stomach ripping the flesh with the thorns on his sword.

Lupe made an odd sound as if everything tried to escape his body at once the swing sending him sliding across the floor leaving a trail of blood. For the first time in his life Lupe was confused he was not scared not in pain he was confused his body did not do what he wanted. He tried to get up only to fall down landing in such an odd way his right leg snapped under him. It felt like his body was betraying him like there was not his anymore he could not speak his lungs so void of air they could not make his vocal cords word or maybe they just refused. He looked up after a few seconds to see the dark shape of a person hidden behind a red curtain. He reached up at it then felt it strike him hard over and over until there was nothing but blackness and he was lost in his mind a place he had never felt so vividly.

Emperor walked away from Lupe's body swinging his sword until all the blood had rolled off it the timer above him had hit zero just as Lupe had blacked out. "Well now Janet I think it is your turn." He stood in the center of the room tip of his sword touching the ground left hand on the pummel right hand on his waist.

Janet had held herself back for the entire fight she wanted to jump in but knew she couldn't and it didn't hurt seeing Lupe get his ass handed to him. It did feel kind of good and yeah she knew that sounded bad but he deserved it. "I believe it is." She looked to each of the girls, "Let's do this the smart way go with wasp plan 1."

Sayuki nodded, "Got it." She ran backwards almost to the door they came in from.

Lyrica ran to the right in a wide arc before setting her back to a wall and opening up her shields hiding so only her eyes and nose were visible. Aoife raised her hands up the lonsdaleite on her arms formed boxing gloves as she took a peek a boo stance this time on raised toes as her lonsdaleite on her shins coated the tops of her feet she then rushed forward.

Emperor let her close in before quickly weaving in and out of punches thrown at him he did not move more than an inch in any direction. Emperor kept his hand on the sword as if using it to keep a good distance from Aoife to dodge her straights. He shook his head for a second only to feel a punch from Aoife right to his face then he lost sight of her taking three acid bullets to his chest than falling to one knee as Wasp hit the back of his right leg with her stingers. He would jump back he knew this would be the harder the other two worked well together but they did not have what these four did. He looked around him and smiled, "Do you know why the floor is gold?"

Aoife was not going to let him talk and recover she knew they needed to keep him from centering himself. She through a fist only to have it blocked by the Emperor's sword she through a shot to his body with her right fist only to have the sword strike her glove and send her off to the side and rolling forward. "Lyrica keep him dazed."

Sayuki began to fire her blood bullets to make him block them instead of attacking an open Aoife. Lyrica sent out another powerful blast of sound and watched as Emperor stumbled a bit then fall to his side as Janet hit him in the right side with her stingers.

Emperor moved back again, "Enough of this." He pushed the tip of his blade into the gold floor until the tip of the gold vines touched the floor. The floor sent out a ripple from the center of his blade the girls would all feel it then Lyrica could be seen flying from one side of the room to the other. Just before she would hit the wall a coil of golden thorny vines shot up out of the floor and whipped around hitting Lyrica and sending her towards Sayuki.

Sayuki would catch a semi conscious Lyrica jumping out of the way with her as several thorny vines whipped at them. "He is controlling the gold."

Aoife was punching at vines that were whipping up at her stopping them and sending them away. "I can see that! Is Lyrica okay?"

Sayuki yelled, "She will live just out for a bit."

Janet was flying away from vines chasing her and trying to cut her off, "We need to get close again Sayuki can you lay out some cover!"

Sayuki kept pulling Aoife with her just narrowly missing getting hit, "Give me a second! Lyrica open your shields I need you to cover me!"

Lyrica looked up a bit dazed, "Shields...I have shields?" She laughed a bit and looked at her arms, "Your right I do." She raised up her arms, "Shields go!" Her shields opened up blocking a heavy vine attack that pushed her across the ground.

Sayuki ran backwards with Lyrica who was still laughing, "Here we go!" She let fly as rapidly as she could her acid bullets creating a wall that would hit Emperor.

Emperor got on one knee as he did the vines stopped attacking vanishing in a split second before they shot up all around him twisting around him in the shape of a flower bud. The acid bullets would hit the bud and splash harmlessly off the gold. Janet would fly around it and regroup with Aoife, Sayuki and the still out of it Lyrica.

The vines would go back into the ground and standing there was the Emperor his mask now solid gold the back of his head encased in gold hiding his hair. His suit had become gold as well now it was like armor with vines engraved on it as if he had wrapped his body in them. On his left arm was a shield in the shape of a rose in full bloom. As he stepped forward the armour moved like the cloth it had taken over he quickly went from a walk to a run grabbing his sword and lifting it out of the floor. The gold floor would ripple once more this time the Emperor would be riding on it as if it was a wave. The ripple would lift him up high into the air now forming a full wave that launched him forward. He swung his sword down hard Aoife and Janet quickly getting out of the way Sayuki was grabbing Lyrica who raised her shields and took the full force of the powerful hit. The force shattered half of Lyrica's left shield as it pushed her into Sayuki both were sent hard into the ground which seemed to push up at them and meet them Sayuki coughing up blood at the strike as Lyrica completely passed out now. Sayuki would begin to crawl away only to have four vines shoot up around her two to each side they would slam down across her back making her scream before she passed out.

Janet was now fully enraged two of her girls were out she yelled loudly and flew straight at him firing her stingers only to have them blocked by his sword. Janet would fly over his blade as he slashed at her she flew right over his shoulder and began to fire at him from behind. The gold vines would shoot up out of the floor and stop the shots. Aoife closed her distance and began to punch rapidly at the Emperor she two was angry but keeping it more in check. Yet her punches were still blocked either by his shield or sword. Janet was now dodging vines trying to shoot at Emperor but each time she did the attack was blocked. She flew in towards him only to be turned away by a wall of vines. Then it happened Janet saw Aoife's head fly back as she was lifted off the ground followed by her body bending over itself as Empeor had spun around and with that full force hit Aoife in the stomach sending her flying like had done to Lupe earlier.

Janet hovered in the air watching this as if time had slowed down her mind replaying what had happened. Aoife had thrown a large right hook a bit too quickly her left not having come back from a straight to cover her. It was then that four vines shot up they had curled over themselves as if they were now a solid fist. The vines would strike Aoife's chin like a powerful uppercut that would lift her up with just sheer force. It was quickly followed by the spin attack by Emperor then Janet caught it Aoife had turned the lonsdaleite on her left arm into a flat bar that cover part of her body she still took the full force of the hit but this made the impact much less. Aoife would hit the wall and cough struggling to get back up gasping for air. Janet was then brought back to regular speed as Emperor thrust his sword at her and Janet had to dive under it and fly backwards almost being hit by a vine from behind but able to roll away from it. Aoife was slowly getting up but was quickly grabbed by five vines that held her to the ground.

Emperor swung his sword and placed the tip on the ground holding the pommel with his right hand. "Now Janet it is just me and you and if you could not take me down with four people I do not see this fight ending in your favor."

Janet was hovering in the air about 10 feet away from him, "You forgot one thing Emperor." All the yellow in Janet's costume began to glow, "You are wearing gold." Janet tapped her neck her glasses changing reforming into her wasp's face shaped mask she gave a little smile, "And I don't have to hold back!"

Janet flew straight at the Emperor she raised her hands and fired her stingers Emperor using his shield to block the shots not able to raise his sword in time. It was with the first three hits he felt his whole body fly off the floor. His hand left the pommel of his sword leaving it standing straight up then he felt four more stingers hit his chest and knocking him parallel with the floor. He would raise his head for a second to see Janet over his chest her entire body seemed hidden by the yellow light that her suit gave off and the Emperor knew this was it. He was hit several times in the chest driving him straight down onto the floor. Janet would be growing in size landing on him she would punch his face several times before flipping off him and kicking him across the floor as he slid the gold that would peel off his suit until he was laying there in his black two button suit and a cracked mask.

Janet shrunk down again and charged forward she was going to make him pay make him feel the pain she did from each of his commands, "You are finished!"

"I would not do that if I was you Janet!"

Janet stopped midflight the sound of the voice shaking her to the bones, "Who are you!" Every person should be out except her and Aoife who was slowly getting up.

A second voice spoke up, "Oh her she is one of my Anax the special girl you met way back when you were trapped in that hole in the ground."

"The Choir Angel!"

"Very good Janet, Now then allow me to introduce myself." The back of the throne room went black then a picture began to form in the darkness. First there was a solid gem stone throne Janet could not even place the stone in her head sure she had seen almost every gemstone but this was something she may have only heard of. Beside the throne a figure took shape it was of a woman in a long white dress she had blond hair and pale blue eyes her skin almost a translucent white. On the woman's neck was a red scar the only bright color on her flesh. Then taking shape in the thrown was a second woman this one wore a three button suit Janet recognizing it as a Caito suit one she had seen only in drawings from the designer saying he would never make it again. It was flat black sewn together purple silk thread that came from wild silk worms. It did not have pants but rather a skirt that was only three inches above the knee. On the woman's feet were black leather the shirt beneath the suit was a white silk around her neck was a purple tie with golden thread weaved into it. She had on a solid gold mask engraved into it were delicate filigrees going up to the base of gold crown. Within the filigrees at the sharp turns and in the tips were pieces of perfectly cut and polished poudretteite it was also in the high points of her spiked crown. "Now Janet in all fairness I will tell you my name...well the name I go by I am the Empress. I am the true leader of the Royals not the man on the ground before you he is my figure head. Long ago the first empress determined that people were stupid and that people would follow only a male leader. So she decided to create a man she could control and called him the Emperor. He had two jobs relay her orders to the rest of the Royals as if they were his own and lead them in her vision. His second job was to make anybody who stumbled upon us to chase him take all the hate of her so she could rule without fear if he died she would just replace him which is why we all wear masks makes it easier to replace him."

Janet looked at the man lying there motionless then back to the women in the image, "How can I believe you maybe he set this up."

The Empress laughed, "That man could do nothing of the sort if you don't believe me check for yourself I am sure you will agree there is no way he could have done this."

Janet grew in size and walked over to the Emperor and reached down ripping off his mask she dropped it and stepped back, "No...no there is no way he can no...how?" She fell to her knees and began to cry looking back at the Empress "This, this can't be true? How long?"

"Almost 2 years now one of the longest Emperors I have had most tended to start to believe that they are in charge and try to cut me out but not this one. He listened well and only did what I asked." The Empress looked back at the Choir Angel, "She has been getting much better at her job too she can even make him switch back when we don't need him yet he still gives us what we need."

The Choir Angel bowed, "Thank you Empress I do what I can for you."

Janet knelt down and placed her hand on the man's cheek, "But why him?"

"Because he was close to you Janet and he could get what I wanted." The Empress shook her head, "You think she would have gotten this."

Janet leaned down and kissed the forehead of the man, "I am sorry Brian." Laying there was her head of the fashion division her assistant and personal friend a man she had trusted for many years even before she hired him. Now he was hurt by her laying beaten and broken by her own hands because she did not know she could not pick up on any difference in him no matter how closely they worked together, "And his wife?"

"Yes Audrey she is fine she thinks he is on a business trip for you so does all your employees and I bet even you did. Most of the trips he has made for you were really for us even his honeymoon he spent as the emperor we gave him and his wife a nice memory of that island you sent them too." The Empress was enjoying this loving how even though Janet was down she could still kick her, "Oh yes I have one more surprise for you look behind you."

Sayuki was standing there over the body of Lyrica and she smiled, "It was fun Janet." Sayuki fired her acid bullets into the back of Lyrica's neck, "Can I take this stupid thing off too?" She was rubbing the metal band around her neck.

Aoife was only a few feet away she should have been able to move but all she could do was watch in horror as Sayuki killed Lyrica. For the first time in her life Aoife could not fight back all she could do was watch in horror as this happened and she cried tears she had not seen since her mother died.

The Empress nodded, "You may and Mia escape is in the back corner of this room I will see you in a few weeks."

Sayuki smiled and removed the metal collar from her neck her little Asian accent disappearing entirely and in its place was a thick Australian accent, "By my blood and by my soul I am Royal." She began to walk to the back of the room stopping to look at Janet for only a second, "I did have fun with you girls." She walked to the corner putting her back to it she gave he same innocent smile they had all seen hundreds of times before, "ooroo." A curved metal wall wrapped around her and a second later the corner broke off from the room and then blasted upwards.

Janet ran over to Lyrica finally out of the shock of what had happened she turned her head to the side once she got close Lyrica's head only held to the rest of her body with scraps of flesh and muscle. She fell down crying hard she promised to keep these girls safe train them so they would be ready for anything but this was something even she could not see coming. Janet held Lyrica's hand in hers she could no longer speak she just screamed and cried.

The Empress sighed as the image began to fade away, "I think I broke the Wasp."

I saw this done on many of my favorite comic books when they came to the end and I liked it. This is a way for the writers and staff to say how they feel about ending something they worked on and well I have to say I am happy and sad at the same time. This is the first time in a long time that I wrote something and finished it but I guess you all think I didn't finish it I just broke a hero you have come to love and cheer on well I just have to say people change with experiences in life and so did our true wasp. Even for a hero who is strong cheerful and an anchor for an entire universe you can only do so much to her before this happens and she can't do anything. Now I also know you all will want to know what happens next to her I mean come on this is a comic book universe people don't stay broken or die they always come back well just because you have read this I will give you a hint she will be back. But not for a while I feel the need to push out a few ideas in my head in a series of one shots so look for those.
