As always, thank you ALL for reviewing. Sorry I updated late my friend told me to try out league. I tried it. I got through to level 3 on versing AIs. the moment i join actual people i get called rude things and I just /cRiES/ but whatever since I'm a beginner/noob/dumbass :V Then I had to leave midgame cuz mY PARENTS DONT KNOW HOW TO WORK A TV.
"For what?" Levi curtly asked Mikasa, giving her a knowing look, "Is it because of how guilty you feel?"
Mikasa didn't say anything. She only scowled. She ignored him and walked on, heading to the dinner table where it all began.
Eren, who had somehow stripped of all his clothes and put fresh ones under a few seconds, bursted out of his room, almost bumping into Mikasa while he skid. He immediately apologized and walked into the dining room. His eyes widened as his eyes skimmed over from the wooden table to blue eyes. He screamed.
"Armin!?"
Armin Arlert jumped from his seat as soon as Eren screamed. He smiled nervously at Eren, his bright, burning embers of eyes staring into Eren's ocean-like ones. "Hey, Eren. I haven't seen you in a month," Armin's voice- no, Armin himself had matured over time- from that 'I want to be useful' look to a confident and knowing one. Armin's hair was still the same, and he had grown into Eren's previous height, 5"7, whilst Eren stood tall at a 5"9, somehow not growing any taller than that (which disappointed him). Even though Armin changed physically and a bit mentally, he was still the same, sweet, kindhearted man.
"Armin!" Eren grinned, rushing over across Armin and sticking his hand out.
Armin grinned and reluctantly clasped onto the hand, eying the brunette's features closely. Eren hadn't changed much. The same, shaggy brown hair, those same thick pair of eyebrows, and the same kind of teal eyes. He was about to close his eyes until his eyes fell upon a marring bruise on Eren's neck which was a dead give away that he belonged to someone.
The blonde choked on his spit as Mikasa Ackerman came into the room, "A-A hi-hi-!"
Eren's grip tightened on Armin's hand oh-so suddenly, his grin clenching into a fake one.
"Ah..." Armin looked at Mikasa, who was expecting Armin to say something, "A-hiya!" He grinned.
Mikasa rose an eyebrow.
Armin chuckled, "It's my new way of saying hello! Do you like it, Mikasa?" he queried, letting go of Eren's hand, holding in a sigh of relief as Eren's grasp slackened on his hand before he let go completely.
"Sure." Was Mikasa's short response. She continued to eye him.
Eren smiled nervously, "Armin do you have any bandages on you? We kinda ran out a few days ago when mom broke a piece of glassware..."
Armin blinked twice, "O-Oh!" Armin slid his hand into his pocket and rummaged for a bandage, feeling glad when he had one. He always had some on him, just in case of an accident since he was always so clumsy sometimes. He slid the wrapped bandage out of his pocket and stuck his hand out to give it to Eren, "Here!" He smiled before noticing that another presence was in the room.
Armin jumped as he found nostalgic grey eyes boring holes into his blue ones, "U-Uh!" He slowly stuttered, as he eyed the famous star.
Eren tentatively took the band aid and ripped the wrapper open, carefully sliding onto his neck on the spot which he knew from the odd pain he felt in that area lay the mark that made him Levi's.
Levi smirked at him, "Hello, brat. Haven't seen you in awhile." He crossed his arms and leaned on a wall, avoiding the picture of a beautiful midnight sky littered with stars beside him. He adjusted his long sleeves, his raven-like hair shifting ever so slightly.
"L-Levi!" Armin's face turned from dull shock to one filled with happiness, "Levi! Levi it's really you!" Armin stuck a hand out to greet him, standing up, "It's been so long!" His gaze on Levi was reassuring and firm, slowly turning into a look of confusion.
Levi quickly shook his hand, not wanting to disappoint Armin, before pulling back and reverting back to his old position. He eyed Eren. Eren did the same back, making funny faces at him, causing him to smile.
"But Mikasa..." Armin said as he sat back down on his seat, "I thought you disliked him?"
"Hated," She corrected before nodding, "I did. I dislike him now."
"Oh," Armin furrowed his eyebrows, "alright?" His voice turned a bit squeaky near the end.
"Anyway," Eren smiled, eying the contents of the dinner table. Fresh caesar salad topped with croutons and spaghetti. Eren grinned. Although dinner was simple, this seemed more than enough for him. "Can I eat?" He snapped his head up towards Mikasa for permission, "And where's mom?"
"Yes," Mikasa slowly answered before Eren let out a loud 'woo!' She then added on to her sentence, "and mom is coming home late today. She told me over the phone that she would hang out with a few friends-and she said something about dad hanging around with the wrong kind of people."
Eren took two tongs full of spaghetti with meatballs and one tong full of caesar salad in a separate bowl, "Wrong crowd?" He rose an eyebrow as Levi took the seat beside him, earning a glare from Mikasa, who had reluctantly moved over and seated herself next to Armin, who worriedly smiled at the death glare.
"What kind of wrong crowd?" Armin queried as he stole the tongs from Eren, earning a little 'hey!' of annoyance. He took his share of food and picked up a fork, before dropping it back down. He then began to pray.
Mikasa was about to speak, but then paused when she saw Armin fold his hands. She smiled and quickly took the tongs before Levi could.
Levi gave her an irritated look.
She smirked and took her time scooping salad out into her bowl and placed it back down. The time it took Mikasa to do so, Armin had finished praying.
"Sorry," Armin smiled, "go on?"
"What a nice Catholic boy," Levi commented slyly.
Eren gave him a punch on the shoulder.
"That was not sarcasm, Jaeger," His silver eyes shifted to glare at the tall brunette.
Armin chuckled.
"I'm not sure myself, actually," She took a fork and stabbed it into her dressing-covered lettuce, "I didn't even know dad hung with the wrong kind." She took a bite out of it.
Eren chomped down on his food, not bothering to comment.
"Define wrong kind." Levi said as he shoved a forkful of spaghetti into his mouth.
"I don't know," Mikasa rolled her eyes, "short people? Black hair, specifically pale with silver eyes? Probably look like you, too," She commented with a snort.
Levi snapped back, "I'm dating your brother."
Everyone choked on their food.
Levi smirked.
Mikasa hurriedly swallowed her food and sat up, "You-!" she coughed before pausing, her eyes turning blank as she sat back down, "Actually," she continued on in a calm voice, "that was expected."
"Bloody..!" Armin coughed, "So that hickey-!?"
Eren's face turned horrified whilst Mikasa's turned livid.
The dark haired woman narrowed her eyes and slowly turned her head to glare at the pale superstar, "What did you do?"
Levi shrugged, "Just letting everyone know." He smugly replied, a frown on his face as his eyes remained void of any emotion.
"That doesn't mean you could just give him a fucking hickey, Levi," she hissed, "I personally don't care about it, but when our dad sees it, he will kill you. Not joking. He's the one against homosexuality in this family- and talk about homosexual-" she turned over to Eren, her face softening visibly, "sorry about insulting you Eren. I know this is your choice, and I really shouldn't be such a bitch about it. I'm so sorry, and I was just so alarmed! I didn't think-!"
"Ish okei!" Eren spoke with a mouthful, grinning as he chewed away at his meal, "Ai don't giffa frigg," he swallowed, "plus I know you didn't mean to do it on purpose," he happily beamed at her. "You're way too nice for that."
Mikasa's mouth opened slightly. Her hands flew to her neck area and she began searching for the scarf Eren had given her before her parents were murdered by a notorious group called 'The Titans'. She then realized she didn't have it on her. She bit her lip and let her blush show, "See? It's at times like these when I really need it."
Armin chuckled before looking at Eren in the eye, "What did she say?"
Eren continued to eat before swallowing, "She said something about being gay is wrong."
Armin let out a scoff, "Seriously?" He chuckled, looking at Mikasa, "You? Of all people? But back then," he placed his fork down, "you're the one who made Eren like Levi- not to mention all those gay books you hid-" cue Mikasa's blush darkening, "- yellow? No, yaoi? Yawi? Those Japanese things you can read- I'm not sure-." He was cut off by none other than Mikasa Ackerman herself.
"Shut," she slapped a hand over his mouth, causing him to flinch, "up."
Levi rose an eyebrow.
Eren's eyes widened in realization, "Oh yeah! Those! The stuff under your bed!" He grinned, "Those things! I read one- it was really funny! I mean, the bottom guy was going all like 'Oh, no! Don't do that!' and I was already dying by that time!"
"Oh, what!?" A blush spread throughout Armin's face, "Y-You read one?"
Mikasa's face darkened, her eyes shadowed over, casting an evil look on herself, "I suggest you shut up as well, Eren," a smirk graced her lips, "because you never know." Her voice turned coy, "Maybe you'll be the one screaming those next."
Eren's mouth dropped open.
Levi chuckled.
Eren sighed as he opened the door for Levi, crossing his arms as the cold night's chill entered his house, passing through his hair, causing him to shiver.
Levi stepped out the door wearing a dark brown winter jacket which was thick, long and a bit too big for him (because it was Eren's) over his thin black jacket. He turned around, looking at Eren. "Today was nice, Jaeger." He smirked slightly, his silver eyes glowing bemusedly.
Eren smiled, "Was it? I guess, yeah, but my neck still kinda hurts," he pointed at the area on his neck with a band aid on it.
"Not saying sorry." Levi turned around and took a few steps away from him.
"Yeah, when are you ever?" Eren laughed playfully, closing his eyes.
"Hm." Levi hummed as he began to walk. Just as he got to the sidewalk, he heard Eren yell from behind him.
"Wait!" His frantic voice was followed by the sound of feet hitting wood and the dry, cement pavement.
Levi turned around, and immediately received a hug from Eren. He looked up to face the boy only to have his face descend to meet his lips. Warm lips attached with a pair of cold ones for a brief moment in a sweet, chaste kiss.
Eren pulled away and smiled, "It's official. I like you."
Levi tilted his head down so that the brat wouldn't see the blush on his face, "Idiot, I already knew that. Plus, that was really, really damn quick." He looked up and smirked, "I guess that means I'm getting ass?"
Eren pushed himself away from him slightly, latching onto the shorter man's shoulders, a wild blush on his face, "No!"
Levi chuckled.
"You're blushing."
A quick, hard flick was delivered to Eren's head, "It's because it's cold, brat. No other reason." Levi turned around and began to walk away, not missing Eren's little smile as he turned around. "Bye," Levi waved to him without turning around.
"Bye, you liar!" Eren cheerfully replied, waving back, knowing well that Levi wasn't looking at him.
Levi smiled. Eren could already tell the difference between the truth and a lie, hm?
