Meta-Cooler looked about the barren city, scowling. The Big Gete Star had been nearly destroyed by a wizard and his coven, enough that no more Meta-Coolers could be produced. It had been all Cooler could to transfer his consciousness to a new body, grab a small piece of the Big Gete Star, and flee with his life. He'd need lots of energy to restore the Big Gete Star to factory potential yet every city on Earth he checked was barren. This was stupid! Last time he was on Earth, the planet was full of life. Before Cooler could glass the surrounding area out of frustration, a hand went over his mouth and a stabbing pain was in his chest.

"Shhh, don't move" a voice laughed from behind him before the tail started sucking on his chest. Meta-Cooler chuckled at the grunts of confusion behind him, no doubt finding out that he had no flesh to suck on. Cooler flicked his tail, slamming the creature away. Cooler turned around and got a good look at the creature. It could best be described as a green version of him with a stinger, no mouth, wings, and crests.

"Well, your energy will do" Cooler laughed, tossing the chunk of Big Gete Star away so it would be safe from the chaos of battle. Cell snarled, confused as to why this creature had no flesh. It made no difference though, it was dangerous and needed to be eliminated. Meta-Cooler flashed forward faster than Cell could see, kneeing the bio-android in the face. Cell staggered back before being stomped downward by a flying kick.

"You're stronger than I thought" Cell growled, knowing he was inferior to this new foe. It didn't mean he couldn't win though. Cell put both hands to his face and screamed out "SOLAR FLARE!" Meta-Cooler screamed in pain as the light assaulted his eyes before hearing a chant.

"It can't be" Cooler murmured, horrified as his mind told him the opposite.

"KA...ME...HA...ME...HA!" Cell roared, firing off the blue beam from behind Cooler. Cooler wailed in pain as the beam tore off his lower half. "Hehe, guess I'm just too strong" Cell gloated when suddenly, Cooler's lower half grew back. Cooler mentally praised himself for bringing the chunk of Big Gete Star with him, were if not for that, he would have been dead.

"As long as the Big Gete Star remains intact, I'll never die" Cooler mocked to the stunned creature. Cooler then prepared a huge Supernova, preparing to destroy Cell, he was too dangerous to be drained. Cell grimaced as he stuck out his hands, preparing for the pain. The Supernova flew forward, slamming into Cell's hands. Cell staggered back, the ground breaking apart as his feet scrabbled for traction. Cooler laughed insanely as the energy ball pushed Cell back. Cell eventually fell to his knees, knowing he only had one choice.

"KAIOKEN!" Cell roared, thanking Goku for once and gaining the energy to get to his feet.

"W-what?!" Cooler sputtered as the ball began lifting off the ground. This was becoming incredibly familiar, but he couldn't remember exactly why.

"Tri-Beam!" Cell roared, combing the Tri-Beam's kiai properties with the Kaioken to push the Supernova off of him and straight towards Cooler.

"Oh, now I remember" Cooler managed to grunt before his own Supernova slammed into him, carrying him into space. Cell panted, exhaustion lining his muscles as the Kaioken left him. He could still feel Cooler's ki, the battle wasn't over yet. Cell raised his arms, knowing this was his one chance. Cooler flew back a minute later to see Cell simply standing there with his arms up.

"Oh, are you back from being sent into the stratosphere?" Cell mocked, hoping the taunt would make Cooler act predictably. Cooler smirked before firing off his Finger Blitz Barrage, the small energy shots blasting away chunks of Cell's flesh.

"How are you still alive?" Cooler questioned as Cell stood in the same position. His answer was the bits of flesh growing back. "Well, that's annoying when I don't do it" Cooler muttered as Cell regenerated. Cell then thrust his arms forward, causing Cooler to enter a defensive stance. When nothing happened for several seconds, Cooler dropped the stance and began laughing in triumph. Cell growled, he needed to distract Cooler just a bit longer.

"Death Beam!" Cell said, extending his finger and blasting it at Cooler. Cooler slapped the thin beam away, shocked not due to pain, but because of the technique.

"How do you know that?" Cooler said, clenching his fist in anger. "Only the Cold family knows that attack" Cooler continued before slapping Cell away with a kiai. Cell recovered in mid-air, but he was tired and he still needed a bit more time. Cell raised his hands like he was holding dinner plates before energy crackled between his fingers. "He wouldn't, he couldn't" Cooler raged, angry at his family's techniques being stolen.

"I would, I did" Cell mocked before firing off two pink discs, the Death Saucers. Cooler yelped as he just barely dodged the first pass before blasting one to pieces. Cooler flew about, dodging the strikes and attempting to blast the last one apart. A Lock-On-Buster eventually destroyed the last disk, though not before slicing off his tail.

"Any other tricks?" Cooler hissed as his tail regenerated.

"Just one that your brother knew very well" Cell smirked before pointing up. Cooler looked up to see a huge green Spirit Bomb gathering above his head.

"Y-you bastard!" Cooler managed to scream before firing off a Supernova at the Spirit Bomb, to no effect. The Spirit Bomb pushed through, slamming into Cooler and forcing him down. "N-no! NOT AGAIN!" Cooler shrieked as memories of being pinned under his own Supernova came flooding back. When the Spirit Bomb exploded, it was brighter than the Sun. Chunks of Cooler landed everywhere, only to be trampled underfoot by Cell's multiforms which he had deployed right after Cooler was pinned.

"In the end, you were nothing special" Cell laughed as he squished the last piece of Cooler before returning to his search for the Androids.
