Well here we are, the final chapter. I can't believe we are already here. Thanks for all the positive reviews. This wasn't the easiest story to write considering I had to think of good parodies that did the story and their original songs justice but your positive reviews made the whole thing worth it. Thanks again and let' wrap up this story.
Act 2: scene 10: At the New York Airport.
"I still don't see how you can forgive me so easily after everything that I have done." Elsa said as the team arrived to the airport. Elsa had decided it was time to go back to Arendelle with Anna and take her rightful place as queen. The rest of the X-men were there to say their goodbye's and show moral support.
"You were deceived Elsa" Xavier said "You where tricked into believing something that wasn't the truth so as a result take the actions that you thought at the time where right.
"Yeah but I killed people. How can you just let me get away with something like that." Elsa said still not sure about herself.
"Hey Logan has a much higher body count then you and he's still on the team." Scott said pointing to Logan.
"Guilty as charge." Logan said
"Besides Elsa, the only people you really killed where Creed and a few of those mutant hunters and all of them where either terrorist or convicted murderers on death row so there was really no loss." Xavier said
"Also the apostle Paul was a murderer before he repented to become the most famous apostle in the bible so if he can be forgiven and do good so can you." Kurt said
A happy tear fell from Elsa's eyes as she hugged Kurt. "Thank you for not giving up on me, even when I didn't want you around."
"Of course dear." Kurt said "That's what I'm here for." When Kurt let go of Elsa he took a bible out of his pocket and handed it to Elsa. "I was hoping maybe you might give this a second chance now that you are finally at peace with yourself. I highlighted some passages that you might find useful if you are ever struggling with anything."
"I think I can give it another try." Elsa smiled before turning to the rest of the team. "Sorry that I won't be a X-man anymore, considering I'm going back to Arendelle."
"Elsa , no matter where you are you will always be a X-men," Xavier said. Rather it is here in New York or all the way in Arendelle." A voice came from the loud speaker saying that passengers on the next flight to Arendelle would be boarding within five minutes.
"Guess you better start getting your things on board Elsa." Logan said. A tear came from Elsa's eyes as she ran to Logan and gave him a huge hug.
"I love you Logan." Elsa cried as she hugged Logan goodbye.
"I love you to kid." Logan said as a tear came from his own eyes.
"Will I ever see you guys again?" Elsa asked as she released herself from Logan.
"Hey, don't forget that you found us in Arendelle," Jean said "ME and Scott has a summer home over there, we will be seeing each other again trust us."
"Plus Anna invited us all to your coronation ceremony next week" Rogue said.
"You guys are coming to that?!" Elsa screamed in excitement.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world." Xavier said with a smile. Elsa and Anna heard the call for all passengers to board the planes so Elsa gave them all a final goodbye hug as she and Anna boarded the plane to Arendelle. As the X-men watched as the plane flew off in the distance a tear fell from Logan's face.
"Logan are you crying." Scott said is a teasing voice.
"What, it's not like you've never shed one before." Logan said in defense.
The X-men made good their promise to show up for Elsa's coronation. The whole team piled out of the Blackbird, wearing their finest suits and dresses. Even Logan who always hated the idea of wearing suits sucked it up for one day and wore a full tuxedo.
"I can't wait to see Elsa again." Storm said excited "I bet she looks beautiful"
"I just wonder how she is feeling." Iceman said "I know if I was about to be crowned king I would be so nervous I would be sweating."
"I'm sure she's feeling just fine." Gambit said
Gambit couldn't be more right. Elsa was feeling more then just fine, she was jumping up and down out of excitement, she couldn't believe this day was actually here
(For the first time in forever: Parody of for the first time in forever from Frozen, sung by Elsa and Xavier.)
Elsa: People are screaming and chanting my name, I can't believe this day has finally came.
Wow I forgot how the size of this place
For years I've been dreaming of this day
now nothing is standing in my way
Finally I'm about to complete the race.
I have struggled for so long, now nothings in my way
It's time to blow all my doubts away.
Cause for the fist time in forever, everything is as it should be
cause for the first time in forever. I am happy to be me
No more doubts no more worries the past is in the past
cause for the first time in forever its going to be a blast.
"Come on Elsa the crowds are waiting to see you" Anna said gleefully
"Open up those gates Anna, let's get this show on the road" Elsa responded as the gates where opened and Elsa walked into the courtyard to be greeted by thousands of screaming people exited to see the queen back
Elsa: People are happy and throwing flowers
none of them are scared of my powers
I can happily let it flow
They don't care that I'm a mutant
finally I can be content
finally I can proudly let it go.
This is amazing this crazy, this is totally bizarre.
Nothing like the life I've lived so far
For the First time in forever There'll be magic there'll be fun
for the first time in forever I am proud of what I've become
It is totally crazy knowing I am bout to queen
for the first time in forever I know what happiness means.
The door to the cathedral opens, Elsa walks in and everybody stands up. The X-men is in the front row with Xavier at the side in his wheelchair.
Xavier: no need to fear you are free
free to be the queen you were meant to be.
It's done, we've won.
I've seen you grow
I treated you as if you were my on.
But now your finally free
Elsa: now I'm finally free
Xavier: To be the queen your meant to be
Elsa: To be the queen I'm meant to be
Xavier: There's nothing left for me to teach your free
Elsa: I'm free
(Insert random Rapunzel and Flynn cameo here)
Elsa: Cause for the first time in forever
Xavier: no need to fear you're now free.
Elsa: I'm getting what I'm dreaming of.
Xavier: free to be the queen you were meant to be.
Elsa: I'm Back to where I really belong
Xavier: it's done
Elsa as the crown is placed on her head: Back to the place I love
Xavier: It's done, we've won it is over
Elsa as she picks up her scepter and orb: Never again will I fear the power I possess cause for the first time in forever, for the first time in forever. I've put my fears to rest.
The crowd claps and cheers as Elsa is decreed as queen. Logan actually cheered and clapped the loudest out of everybody in the room.
In the ball room everybody was dancing and having fun, Anna was dancing with her boyfriend Kristoff, Jean was dancing with Scott and Wolverine was tearing up the dance floor dancing solo with moves that would impress Michael Jackson. Elsa watched on proudly. Eventually Logan came up and offered Elsa a dance and accepted the dance even though she was not much of a dancer. She didn't care though she was just happy to be back in Arendelle.
A while later the whole party was outside getting ice skates on.
"You guys ready" Elsa said. The whole kingdom nodded then Elsa turned the courtyard into a giant ice rink and everybody started skating and having fun.
"It's good to have you back Elsa." Anna said skating up to her.
"I am never running away again." Elsa said
(Let it go from Frozen. The closing number: sung by the cast)
Anna grabbing Elsa by the hand: let it go, let it go, can't hold it back anymore.
Elsa: The snow blows white on the mountain tonight not a footprint to be seen,
a kingdom of isolation and it looks like I'm the queen
the wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
couldn't keep it in heaven knows I tried
Storm skating up to the crowd: Don't let them in don't let them see
be the goods girl you always have to be
conceal don't feel don't let them know
well now they know
The whole cast: Let it go, let it go can't hold it back anymore
let it go, let it go, turn away and slam the door
I don't care what they're going to say
let the storm rage on. The cold never bothered me anyway
Rogue: It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small
and the fears that once controlled me can't get me at all
Knightcrawler grabbing Elsa by the hand and skates to the front of the pack: It's time to see what I can do
To test the limits and make through
no rights no wrong no rules for me I'm free.
The whole cast: Let it go, let it go, I am one with the wind and sky
let it go, let it go, you'll never see me cry.
Here I stand and here I stay let the storm rage on
Wolverine skates to the front as he leaps in the air and does several Olympic style twirls on the skates making all the ladies in the crowd scream with glee and throw roses at his feet.
Wolverine: My powers flurries through the air into the ground
my sole is spiraling in frozen fractures all around
and one thought crystallizes like a icy blast
I'm never going back, the past is in the past (ladies screams louder when he hits that high note)
The cast: let it go, it go, And I'll rise like the break of dawn
let it go, let it go.
Just Elsa and Wolverine: that perfect girl is gone
Wolverine: Here I stay and the light of day, let the storm rage on (Girls screams again when he hits the high note)
The whole cast: The cold never bothered me anyway.
The cast takes a bow as the audience stands up and cheers. Roses are thrown into the stage as the curtains close.
BONUS SCENE: This idea wash pitched to me a couple chapters back by JJ12 and I thought it was too good to pass up. Even though the real story ended with the cast singing Let it go think of this as a alternate ending or a end credit scene like you see in all those Marvel movies. Enjoy
A Limo pulled up in front of Broadway and Elsa, the X-men as well as Anna and Kristoff piled out of it. Wolverine wasn't with them however.
"How did you get us in a limo?" Iceman asked
"Hey when your the Queen you have the authority and the money to get whatever you want." Elsa said "Now hurry we don't want to be late I got us the best seats in the house."
"Why are we going to see this play again?" Gambit said
"What you didn't read the cast." Elsa said pointing to the board on the outside that had the name of the play and the star.
"Les Miserables, starring James Logan as Jean Valjean." Gambit said as he read the sign. "Huh, so they did do that recast."
"Yes they did no come on!" Elsa said hurrying them all inside. Elsa payed for all the tickets and led them to the auditorium where they sat in the front row. The lights dimmed and the curtains opened. Elsa and the X-men cheered when Logan came out and started singing the opening number. They clapped and cheered every time he stepped up on stage and sung. When the play ended and Logan took a bow The whole team gave him a standing ovation as they cheered.
"Wow you weren't kidding when you said he said he had a Broadway star in him." Elsa told Jean
"Told you so." Jean said
"He does know I am going to have fun with him about this." Scott said as he clapped
"I think I like Colm Wilkinson's version better." Kristoff whispered in Anna's ear.
"I wouldn't tell him that to his face." Anna said
Wolverine took his final bow and the curtains closed for the final time
The end.
