Chapter 8

Summary: "Sorry didn't get the memo maybe next time when a bitch invites me to a high class party I'll remember to bring my stilettos." Kagome said glaring at Kagura before turning to leave. She didn't even spare her sister a glance as she left, leaving the entire house silent.

Friday, June 13th, 2014

"Hey babe and Kags." Inuyasha greets kissing Kikyou's cheek. He sat beside his girlfriend and across from her twin. "Hello too you to." Kagome says looking at her laptop. Things have been a bit distance between Kagome and the Taisho brothers. She knew it's not Inuyasha's fault for his brother's actions but she can't help to wonder if the younger brother felt the same. She understood why Inuyasha was so kind to her in his own rough way, all because of Kikyou. I'll be leaving in a month and a half so none of this will matter. She thought bitterly.

"Hello Inu, I'm surprise that Miroku isn't with you." Kikyou says sipping her lemonade from her glass. The tension at the table is thick. So thick that it's making the inu hanyou a bit uncomfortable. If only he knew what Sesshoumaru has talked to Kagome about maybe he could help cut this tension down. The snapping of the laptop drew Inuyasha out of his thoughts to see Kagome getting up from her seat. "I'll catch you later, Kikyou." She says walking away from the table. Kikyou lets out a sigh looking over at her boyfriend with a defeated look on her usual emotionless face.

"She's been acting distant since Sesshoumaru spoke to her at the club. I don't know what to do. I know that we're not close but she's my sister." Kikyou says looking over to where Kagome was sitting previously. "I'll ask Sesshoumaru but I doubt he'll tell me anything." Inyuasha says scratching his head. "Oi, there is a party at the house tonight. Kagura and Yuki will be back tomorrow morning so don't worry about any drama." Inuyasha adds quickly grinning at his girlfriend. Kikyou nods at the information and hopes that Sango could talk to Kagome about attending.

At the Higurashi's house

Kagome is lying on her bed looking up at the ceiling that is generously mocking her poor class lifestyle. She lets out a sigh rolling on her side thinking about what Sesshoumaru told her three days ago. Ever since their little chit chat she has been avoiding everyone even her sister. She never realized that within two weeks that some asshole could squeeze his way into her life. She can't believe how much she actually likes the ice prince. She glares at her wall before turning on her back letting out an angry huff. Closing her eyes to relive the horrible memory.

Kagome follows Sesshoumaru as he leads her towards the back of the club where the noise is a dull beat in the background. She watches with curiosity as to why he needs to speak with her. Once he thought that they are far enough away so only they could speak without shouting. He stops bluntly causing Kagome to crash into his back side, stumbling back a bit she looks at him with a glare. "I thought telling you in person would be simpler." He spoke turning to look at her.

Whatever anger she had disappear to be replaced with confusion "Huh?" she asks uneducated. Sesshoumaru didn't want to say what he's about to say but he must keep this miko at a distance. She'll be gone when the summer ends so what's the point to become attached? "They're only nice to you because Kikyou is your sister. No one actually cares about you." He said harshly. Kagome gasp at his words before glaring hatefully at him.

"How dare you! You have no right to say that." She says pointing a finger at him. "You're corrected about my motives. I only see you as another notch to my bed post but even I grow bored with you." He said giving her a bored look. Tears swell in her sapphire blue eyes, her pride is keeping them at bay. "Your nothing when compare to your sister. Kagura is correct, your nothing but a country bumpkin whore." His cold cruel words slice through her. She gasp loudly before turning around to let the tears fall. "Your wrong." She whispers brokenly. She knew this would happen, this is all too good to be true but that's not what hurts. What hurts is that Sesshoumaru is saying this to her.

Kagome doesn't know why it hurts as much as it does. She doesn't even like him! Somehow this ice prince manage to squeeze his way into her heart and being the kind of person she is, she fell for it, head first.\

Kagome's eyes open to let the tears steam down her face. She sits up on her bed to draws her knees to her chest. "Kagome?" Sango's voice calls to her. She sits there nonresponsive to her best friend in California or who she believed to be. The door opens slowly reviling the dark hair slayer walking into the room. Kagome has her curtains pulled open which is a surprise since she has kept them close and her door locked as well. Sango spots the said girl sitting on her bed with her arms wrapped around her legs and her forehead press against them.

"Kagome, please speak to me." Sango pleas closing the door to walk over to where the miko is sitting. Kagome lifts her head with teary eyes "Is this all for show? Is this all fake?" she says in a level voice. Sango looks stun by Kagome's words "Well? Do you all take pity on me because Kikyou is my sister?" she shouts, more tears made their way down her cheeks dripping onto her pants. Sango shook her head in disbelief at her friend "No! Why on earth would you think that? I want to be your friend." Sango says caringly.

"Sesshoumaru thinks otherwise." She mutters but Sango hear it loud and clear. She stands up making Kagome jump a bit looking at her friend in awe. "That's dog! He's such an asshole!" Sango shouts clenching her fist. She turns to face Kagome once again "Everyone enjoys you here. Sesshoumaru is being a selfish asshole. He can't get his head out of his ass for one moment too see that you are a perfect match for him!" Sango says heatedly causing Kagome to blush.

"Anyways, there's a party tonight and you're going!" Sango says wholeheartedly causing Kagome to snap out of her depression to laugh at her best friend. Why did I ever doubt her? She thought smiling as Sango is busy going through her closet. Sango comes back moments later with a grey tank top with a denim jean jacket and a pair of denim shorts with Kagome's old dusty brown boots. "Since Sesshoumaru is an idiot let's show him how much guys think you look cute with your country twang!" Sango chirps tossing the clothes on the bed before fishing out her some clothes as well.

After two hours of getting ready both girls walk into the kitchen of Kagome's home to find Inuyasha, Miroku, and Kikyou in there. "Oh wow." Miroku says getting a sharp elbow in the side from Inuyasha. Sango is wearing one of Kagome's white sundress with a pair of yellow wedges, her hair is straight and flowing down her back. Kagome is wearing her grey tank top with the denim jean jacket with her denim jean shorts and her favorite pair of boots. Her hair is pulled back with the ponytail done of lose curls. Both girls smile warmly at their friends Kikyou smiles back knowing that Sango must have talk sense into her sister.

"Let's go party like a rock star!"

Friday, June 13th, 2014; Night

The five of them show up at Inuyasha's house to find it packed full of fancy cars and people. Kagome felt a bit nervous but knew she can pull through this, this is nothing compare to what will happen tomorrow night. They walk up the stairs of the front porch to the open front door to see how much in swing the party is. Everyone went their own ways except Sango stuck by Kagome as they wonder off to find drinks. They walk into the kitchen to find Kouga and his cousins playing a round of beer pong. Kagome and Sango watched until the round ended, "Can I play?" Kagome asks sweetly wanting to show them up country style.

"Sure, let's see what miss twang has!" Kouga says laughing. At the moment Sesshoumaru walks in with two girls on his arms. Kagome glares at him "I want Sesshoumaru to play on your team and I'll have Sango." She states. "Uh Kagome, I don't play." Sango says not wanting to be a part of this. Kagome turns to her "Please, I know how to play and I promise we'll win." She says smiling. Sango is still unease by it but agrees nonetheless as Kouga starts setting up and grabbing the beer "Wait, we should play with liquor. It's more fun that way." Kagome chimes to him. Kouga shrugs his shoulders not caring what they drink.

After everything is set up Kouga gave a ball to Kagome. "We'll shoot to see who goes first." He explains. Kouga shoots and misses the cup making him groan, Kagome shoots and does a trick shot making the ball swirl around one cup but fell into the one beside it. "What the hell did I agree too?" Kouga groans again.

Sesshoumaru smirks at Kagome's skills but she is no match for him at this silly human game. "Ladies first I suppose." Kouga says before smirking at them. Sango grab a ball and hands the other to Kagome. Sango shoots first making it into the first cup. Kagome shoots and makes it into the far left cup smirking at they both take a shot from the solo cups.

After three rounds of liquor pong, Kagome gives the final shot and laughs as she made it into the cup. By this time it came down to Sesshoumaru and her playing since Sango was too drunk to continue and Kouga didn't want to get shown up. "I'm done." She declares smirking at her victory. Sesshoumaru shook his head at his defeat but glad that he was able to spend the evening in her company. The music is still playing so Kagome having great amount of liquor courage grabs Sesshoumaru's hand to drag him out to dance with.

She surprise herself at not tripping over anything but thankful to be a bit graceful even drunk. Once out of the dance floor they start moving with one and other as if they've been dancing together for a long time. Sesshoumaru places his hands on Kagome's hips as she moves along with him. Her head is resting against him as her eyes drop closed.

The feeling of Sesshoumaru body pressed against her is making her head spin. Sesshoumaru can smell her arousal that is cause from their actions so he decides to spin her around earning a gasp from him. Her sapphire eyes snap open to see his dark lust fill golden orbs staring at her. She shivers from the lust fill glaze from him, she bites her lip wanting to let out a moan from the look he is giving her. So she decides to grab his hand once more to lead him up the stair case.

Sesshoumaru took the lead as he catch on to where she is heading, he is surprise to see where she is trying to lead them. He weave them in and out of the various people in the hall down to his room. He opens it allowing Kagome to enter first before closing the door and flipping on the light. She stands there in awe at how huge and beautiful his room is. She sees the big comfy looking king size bed lined up by the huge bay window. The red, golden, and black colors suit him well in this room. Sesshoumaru stares at how beautiful Kagome looks in her normal attire, she looks so at peace standing there in her dusty brown boots, her favorite ones, his eyes travel up her long tan legs to see her denim jeans shorts covering her ass nicely and mold nicely as well. Finally her grey tank top that she hide with her jacket early that she left down stairs in the kitchen along with her hair down from its ponytail in lose curly waves.

Sesshoumaru walks over to her standing behind her, Kagome can feel his youkia licking at her back side. She slightly turns her head to see over her shoulder to find him standing behind her. His strong warm hands brush her hair back giving him access to her shoulder. He dips down to place a hot kiss to her expose skin earning a throaty moan from her.

Kagome turns around to give Sesshoumaru a kiss of her own. The passion and raw desire made him growl wrapping his arms around her form pulling her close to deepen the heated kiss with enter passion and desire.

The tuck of her shirt gave her access to bring the kiss letting him pull the tank top over her head before attacking her mouth once more. Kagome didn't like the odds of her less clothes than her partner so she pulled his shirt over his head stepping back giving a smirk at his displeasure of her breaking the kiss. He looks at her with darken gold eyes staring at her as she walks away swaying her hips tauntingly. His beast stirs inside of him growling at him to claim her as his mate. He walks over to her as she kicks her boots off to climb into his massive bed to prop herself up against the headboard teasing him with her body. He growls at her climbing into his bed kicks his shoes off as well as he crawls up to her.

He kisses her calf get a gasp from her. He smirks against her skin working his way up to her trailing his nose before stopping at her thighs. He gentle bites her inner thigh earning a throaty moan once again from her. He looks up at her seeing her head back with her eyes close panting lightly. Placing a kiss where he bit her trailing upwards toward her lips. He kisses her throat, her jawline, the corner of her mouth, then her hovers above her lips. Kagome opens her eyes to meet with glaze golden eyes fill with lust and want. She reaches up to kiss him to end the torture that he so desperately has been inflicting.

Feeling a bright light hitting her face, Kagome groans pulling the covers up to shield her face turning to her left to snuggle up to her warm firm pillow. A soft purring noise fills her ears, Buyo isn't in Cali with me she opens her eyes to close them tightly from the annoying sunlight. She reopens her eyes to see a sleeping and purring Sesshoumaru. SESSHOUMARU!? Jerking upright a little too quickly threw her off balance and over the edge of the bed. "The hell." She mutters sitting up from her spot, she notice that it's a bit cold on the ground. She looks down to see that she is stark naked. "Holy hell!" she screams alarming her bed mate to roll over to see Kagome sitting in the floor pissed.

"Good morning to you too." He says in a huskily sleepy voice. She jerks her head up to see a half awake daiyoukia staring at her with a bored express. "Fuck you!" she shouts at him before cringing at the volume of her voice. "Looks like I already did that."
