Got to Get You Into My Life, 2:29

"Do you ever think about Derek and Casey?" Lizzie asks.

Edwin replies, "I dunno. Sometimes, it hits me that I may be Abby and George Venturi's oldest son if Casey murdered him."

"Well, they met when they were the age we were when we started this…uh…"

"Thing?" Ed smirks.

"We don't have a thing," she denies.

"Don't deny it. Neither of us has dated anybody else, since what, freshman year? Maybe our story will turn out like Derek and Casey's. True love," he sighs, fluttering his eyelashes.

"Please. I'm not dealing with another Sally."

"And you better not fall for any Scott-the-Snot's."

Lizzie giggles.

"Just think… we could have this every day of our lives."

"I could go for that," she whispers to him.

"Me too." He kisses her.

"Lizzie? Edwin? Supper!" Nora's voice comes from downstairs.

"Oh my god. It's my mother!" Lizzie pushes him back, and Edwin trips. "Get up! She can't catch us."

"Come on, Liz. It's not like they haven't figured out about Derek and Casey. Would it be that bad if Dad and Nora knew about us?"

"Yes! This isn't like Derek and Casey, Edwin. This is just us; it's just some fling until one of us gets bored. That's all, okay?"

He shakes his head emphatically, but she doesn't let him reply, racing out the door to intercept her mother at the stairs.
