Hello everyone I know I have been of the grid for a while but I had a disturbing amount of exams and a few conferances to join. Bit busy. But all is well I am writing chapter 6 now. Also if anyone is bothered by the timeskips I would like to tell them that the point of this story is how Percy Jackson being Dumbledore's grandson effected things at Hogwarts. I also won't write much about what was going on with the camps because of it. And for the people who think I made Percy overpowerfull by making him Hades' champion I would like to remind them that Percy is forbiden to fly high by Zeus so he needs to be able to shadow travel back and forth. And admit it him being able to command the Hogwarts ghosts was just too cool to pass up.

Chapter 6

Percy Jackson was tense as he boarded the Hogwarts express to go back to the castle for his third year. This year Harry Potter was coming to Hogwarts. Also his dear grandfather decided to hide Nickholas Flamel's Philosopher's Stone at the school. He didn't understand how could his alchemy mentor possibly agree to it. He was sensible if a little old. He grumbled as he found a compartment with the twins.

" Hey Perce what's bothering you mate?" one of the twins asked.

" Harry Potter is coming to Hogwarts this year, there is going to be some serious trouble." The Gryfindor heir stated to his identical friends.

Unknown to them somewhere in Hogwarts express Harry Potter was befriending one of the redheaded siblings who would be joining him in his many adventures. And the third member of the future trio was helping the shy and clumsy Longbottom heir in his usual task of tracking his elusive toad.

So they talked some forming amazing friendships, some making aquintice with people they would be spending the coming years with. The rest just brought their friends up to speed about what's been happening in their lives. The train reached the Hogsmeade Station not long after the nightfall.

As they exited the train Percy could hear Hagrid calling the first years. They took the boats traditionaly but the returning students would be taking carriges pulled by Thestrals. They always liked him because of his father and patron. He was looking forward to putting Slytherins to their place this year. Snape or not the House Cup belonged to Gryfindor this year. He took his seat at his house table with his friends as these things went through his head. He watched sorting with extra care since that McLaggen person got sorted in Gryfindor.

He had a serious chat with the sorting hat after that about the values of his house. And he was fairly sure arrogant and annoyingly bossy wasn't among them. But unfortunetly what was done was done. Admitedly the hat's argument was mildly exceptable as he didn't fit anywhere else and was had more muscles than brains like some others in Gryfindor. But the hat did know better than to pull something like that unless he wished to end up as a pile of ash.

Pushing these thoughts he focused on the sorting. He noticed Susan Bones go to Hufflepuf and was happy for her. He knew her calm nature and knew she was better suited for Hufflepuf as Gryfindors was actualy harsher to their housemates than they were given credit for. He noticed some others get sorted in Gryfindor like Lavander Brown ( he tried not to groan), Nevile Longbottom ( he so saw this coming) and Hermione Granger who peaked his interest. He wasn't too surprised when Harry Potter got sorted into Gryfindor. What suprised him was how long it took as obviously there were more possibilities. He didn't think it was Ravenclaw as he didn't see that glint in his eyes that marked him as one of Rowena's eagles. And he was also fairly sure it wasn't Hufflepuf as they were in many ways calmer and less abitious version of Gryfindors. That left Slytherin. So we have another one who is dying to prove himself, he thought. This is going to be a hell of a year.

Done. Sorry it's short. And more of a filler chapter but I felt the need to open Percy's thoughts a bit. The story will be going fast for a while till I can get Percy involved with the trio. I have many surprises for you. And I guarantee you at least one of them will be something noone saw coming. By the way guys I'm considering writing a story on Chuck categorie or a PJO Chuck crosover. What do you say?
