Purvi went back to Mumbai. Rajat took the leave of more 30 days. Soniya was coming back towards the life. She writes a letter for her mother and kept it in to its place. Fairies gave the letter to her mother. Rajat was trying his best to make his daughter happy and he got success in it at some extent.
Now Rajat decided to talk with Soniya. In morning he came to her room. She was sleeping with pillow in her hand instead of her head. (like me..).
Rajat sit beside her and started looking at her and spread his hand on her face lovingly. In sleep she moved little and grabbed his hand. He smiled and said: Soniya beta uth jao…
Soniya with half opened eyes: nai..utna…abi ..or sona hai…
Rajat :acha…..papa ke pass ap ke liye aik surprise hai ..jaldi se utho …fresh ho kar ao…
Soniya: kia surprise hai?
Rajat (made her sit on bed): nahi pehle aap fresh hon gi…phir breakfast or phir surprise…
Soniya ran to the washroom and Rajat smilingly made his way towards the kitchen.
After breakfast Soniya asked impatiently: papa…jaldi bataein na…kia surprise hai?
Rajat : surprise ….(thinking): kon sa surprise…yaad nahi aa raha.
Soniya glared at him so spoke: acha….surprise… ye hai ke…aaj papa…or soniya play land jaaeinge… phir lunch karein ge phir movie dekne jaaein ge…phir beech per...
Soniya(excitedly): papa….or phir hum na ….ice cream bhi khaein ge….
Rajat was happy to see his daughter like this.
And they left to enjoy their day.
They first went to play land. Soniya was enjoying there and her father too. After some time they went to food court for lunch. They placed the order and waiting for that.
Rajat : soniya beta…
But she didn't listen to him as she was looking in another direction when Rajat looked there he found a couple enjoying the food with their children. He looked at his daughter and found her still looking at them.
So he called her: beta kia dekh rahi ho? (although he know but still he asked)
Soniya: papa…ap bhi mumma ke sath aatey they yahan…?
Rajat has no answer. He felt bad for his daughter.
Then their order came and they had a lunch.
After that they went for shopping. After that they went to beech.
They were sitting on sand and enjoying the ice cream. When Rajat started as
Rajat : beta papa ko aap se kuch baat karni thi.
Soniya(concentrating on her ice cream):hmm..
Rajat : papa apni guriya ko….Mumbai le kar jana chahtey hain…aap chalo gi mere sath?
Soniya: han papa me jaun gi …abhi to mere holidays hain na….phir school ho ga to…wapis aa jaaein ge…
Rajat : lekin papa ki job to Mumbai mein hai na…?
Soniya grabbed his hand and said: nahi papa…me akele kese rahoon gi…please muje chor ke mat jaein.(and she put her head on his shoulder and started crying).
Rajat separated her and cleared her tears. Then said: arey meri princess…papa aap ko chor kar kahin nahi jaaein ge…me apni beti ko apne sath hi le kar jaaun ga…or aik achey se school mein us ka admission karwaun ga… ab theek hai haan?
Soniya smiled lightly then said: papa wahan per play land hai na or beech?
Rajat smiled and said: han wahan sab kuch hai….or pata hai wahan aap ke bohat saarey uncle or aunties bhi hain…
Soniya: or Purvi aunty..?
Rajat : han han wo bhi hain….
Then they returned home after sometime.
After some days they started their packing as there are lots of things to be packed.
One night after having a talk with Purvi Rajat went to Soniya's room. She was holding her mother picture and talking to her.
Soniya: mumma aap ko pata hai..hum kal Mumbai ja rahey hain wahan papa ki job hai na… wahan mera school me admission ho ga…lekin mumma…fairies ko wahan ka address to pata hi nahi hai to wo letter kese dein gi aap ko…kia karun kia karun…han aik kam karti hun papa se puchti hun.
Then she turned to go…Rajat who was standing at door step cleared his eyes. She saw him.
Soniya: kal hum Mumbai ja rahey hain na…to ab me mumma ko letter kese dun gi papa…fairies ko to wahan ka address hi nahi pata hoga na…
Rajat smiled on her innocence and said: aik kam kartey hain…hum us jasmine ke plant ko apne sath le chaltey hain …theek hai?
Soniya: what a great idea papa..thank you…
Rajat smiled and said: acha chalo so jao…subha jana bhi hai na…
And he lay down her on bed. And she slept after some time in her father's arms.
Next morning they started their journey. The reached home after some hours. Rajat took out the luggage from the car and moved towards the main door. They unlock the door and entered inside. Soniya looking at the house excitedly. After sometime she said
Soniya:wow…kitna acha ghar hai…
Rajat smiled and said:ab se Soniya or Papa khoob mazey karein ge yahan..or..
His cell phone rang. It was Purvi who asking him about his journey and Soniya.
Days passed and Soniya now settled down in her new circumstances. Rajat took Soniya to the beauru to introduce her with team where she received very warm welcome. She was very happy to receive their love.
Soniya got admission in school. In morning Rajat dropped her and in noon she come home by school van as he also joined his duty.
One day when Rajat returned home she was not present in the garden where she waits for her father usually so he found it unusual so he asked to the maid who told him that she was in her room since she returned from school didn't took lunch also. Rajat moved towards her room hurriedly. When he entered in side he found his daughter sleeping when he looked at her face he found her eyes swelled and some tears are present at the corner. His heart pinched. He ruffled her hair and sit beside her.
After some time he called her softly: Soniya…beta utho papa agaye hain…
She opened her eyes and saw her father...suddenly she hugged him tightly. He rubbed her head. After some time she became relax so he separated her and said
Rajat : kia hua meri guriya ko han…kisi ne school mein kuch kaha hai?
Soniya:papa…ap muje chor ke to nahi jaaein gen a….(Rajat was surprised on her question but stay quiet and she continued)meri classmate ki cousin ki mumma chali gaein to us ke papa us ke liye step mother le aye …or phir us ko hos…hostel bhej diya…(then looked to wards him with teary eyes)…muje aap ke pass rehna hai…sirf aap ke pass…aap mere liye step mother to nahi laaein ge na …please muje hostel nahi jana…muje aap ke pass rehna hai…
And she hugged him again and stated crying loudly…Rajat also has tears in his eyes. He controlled hi emotion and separated her and cupped her face and said.
Rajat :just remember only one thing…papa loves you a lot….papa ke liye aap se zada important ….or kuch bhi nahi hai….me apni guriya ko kabhi apne se door nahi honey dun ga…(after taking a pause)acha chalo ab ye aansoo saaf karo…aap ko pata hai na papa aap ko aise rotey hue nahi dekh saktey…chalo jaldi se apna face wash kar ke aao… aap ke liye aap ki aik favorite cheez ai hai…
Soniya smiled lightly and went towards washroom and Rajat closed his eyes in pain..but after some time he moved out from the room.
Soniya came to the hall and saw his father in deep thoughts she called him: papa..
No response
Soniya(loudly) papaa….
He came out from thoughts and said: h..han ..han …kia hua beta…?
Soniya: aap muje kuch dene waaley they na…
Rajat showed her some box and then opened it.. she became happy to see her favorite pizza flavor in it…
Soniya(happily): papa…its my favorite….thank you….ye laaney ke liye…
Rajat : welcome my doll…wese thank you mera nahi kisi or ka karo…
Soniya(confusingly): kis ka?
Rajat : Purvi ka…usi ne ye bheja hai tumharey liye….
Soniya: Purvi antie bahut sweet hain na papa…
Rajat : bohat zada…
Soniya started eating
and he started smiling thinking about Purvi but his sweet thoughts were disturbed by his mobile ring tone. It was Sachin's call who was asking him about some file..
time passes and Rajat 's tension increased because Soniya's behavior is very weird it seems like she become totally dependent on her father she cant able to do any thing without him…she become extra possessive for him which is a very alarming situation for Rajat …
on the other side date of their marriage is also near… so he decided to share his tension with his life partner. One day he left his home for beauru but didn't go there. He went to Purvi 's house. She was on leave because of some personal work.
Rajat reached to her house and rang the bell. She opened the door.
Purvi smiled to see him and said: arey …aap ..aiye na..andar aaiye.
Rajat entered inside. He was looking quite.
Purvi went to the kitchen and bring glass of water and gave it to him. He drank it and placed the glass on the table. he is now sitting with down head . After some time she broke the silence.
Purvi : Rajat …sab theek hai na…Soniya kesi hai wo theek to hai na.?
Rajat said yes with down head.
Purvi worriedly: to phir baat kia hai aap pareshan lag rahey hain?
Rajat took a deep sigh and said:muje kuch samajh nahi aa raha.. me tum se kia kahun or kia nahi…kiun ke me khud sure nahi hun ke me karna kia chahta hun…
Purvi : jo bhi hai aap muje saaf saaf bataiye…
Rajat looked at her and said: Purvi… kabhi tumhe mujh per ghussa nahi aaya…(she looked at her shocked)ke me ne tumhe itna wait karwaya… apne dil ki baat bolney ke liye…or phir tumhe wo sach bataya jo…shayad kisi bhi larki ke liye digest karna itna easy na ho…tumhe kabhi bura nahi laga..
Purvi: jin ko dil se chaha jata hai na Rajat ...un se juri hui har cheez or har insan se pyar ho jata hai…jo kuch bhi hua…. Us mein us maasoom ka to koi kasoor nahi tha…(after taking a pause) ab aap muje asal baat bataein jo aap ko pareshan kar rahi hai.
Rajat was shocked and happy he thinks: koi kisi se itna pyar kese kar sakta hai..
Purvi feeling his silence waved her hand in front of his eyes.
Rajat : h…han..k..kia hua?
Purvi smiled and said: ye to aap bataein ke kia hua hai?
Rajat : I am sorry …but muje lagta hai ke me tumhare sath bahut ghalat kar raha hun… meri samajh nai aa raha ke kia karun…meri bachi ki zindagi mein bhi wohi khaali pan hai kahin na kahin jo meri zindagi mein tha.. wo mere alawa kisi ko apne aas pass bardasht hi nahi karti hai… or na hi mere pass kisi ko…usey lagta hai ke koi usey mujh se cheen le ga..muje dar lagta hai kabhi kabhi to…I am sorry yar…
She cuts him with: koi baat nahi Rajat muje koi problem nahi hai…me sahi waqt ka intezaar kar lun gi… wo abhi bachi hai… bahut barey dukh se guzri hai wo …jis ka andaza aap ko or muje bahut achi tarha hai…
Rajat : lekin kab tak wait karo gi tum mera…han kab tak…is se behtar nahi ke tum apni life mein move on karo…khush raho..
Purvi (in hurt tone): aap ko lagta hai ke me aap se door reh kar khush reh paaun gi…han.. bas itna hi jantey hain aap muje…
Rajat feeling guilty
Rajat : I am sorry me tumhe hurt nahi karna chahta tha..
Purvi stood up from sofa and came towards him and sat on floor in front of him. She took his hands in hers and said: meri khushi aap ke sath hai Rajat …or humara pyar kabhi haarey ga nahi… bas thora waqt dijiye sab theek ho jaye ga.
Then she stand up and sits on sofa beside him and he took her in a side hug and they closed their eyes praying for their future.
After some time Rajat went to pick up Soniya from school.
AFTER 10 YEARS
A man in his mid forties was standing near a window pane looking out side and thinking some thing.
A woman in her late thirties entered in the room and smiled seeing the man She went near him and tapped his shoulder and said: kia soch rahey hain ?
Man turned towards her and smiled: me soch raha tha ke hum zindagi ko kabhi kabhi kitna mushkil samajhtey hain na? lagta hai …mushkilain kabhi khatam hi nahi hon gi..,lekin..
Woman: lekin dekhain…sab theek ho gaya..
Man: han Purvi …. Tumharey sath ne sab theek kar diya…pata hai kabhi kabhi me sochta tha…shayad me ne tum se bohat zada maang liya..shayad tumhare sath na-insaafi(injustice) kia … muje aaj bhi yaad hai jab me ne tum se shadi postpone karney ka kaha…to me kitney din tak pareshaan raha…dusri taraf mujh se apni beti ka akelapan bhi nahi dekha jata tha…wo andar hi andar ghut rahi thi…apni maa ko roz letter likhti thi or me jab bhi us ke letters parhta tha… mera dil karta tha ke…koi magic trick mere hath aye or me us ki zindagi mein khushiyan bhar dun.. …lekin me darta tha ke agar me ne us se apne or tumharey baarey mein koi baat ki to shayad wo apna aik bohat acha dost kho de..kiun ke mera manna tha ke wo…tumhe sirf or sirf apni dost dekhna chahti hai mere sath jurey kisi or rishtey mein nahi….tumhari taraf dekhta tha to dil mein aik ajeeb ahsas hota tha guilt ka…phir shayad ooper waley ko bhi hum teeno per rehem aa gaya or us din.
9 YEARS BEFORE
There was some competition in Soniya's school in which parents or some other member of the family also have to participate with their children. Rajat had some important meeting on the same day so he excused himself…Soniya was very sad because her name was almost cancelled from that competition. She went to school that day with off mood. At the time of event when teacher was announcing the names of participants, Purvi gave a surprised entry and introduce herself as the family member of Soniya. Their team won the competition. That little girl was very happy.
When Rajat returned to home Soniya told him about the competition very happily and excitedly and.
Rajat : us din us ki ankhon mein jo khushi thi…wo me lafzon mein nahi bata sakta…me us din yehi dua maangi ke..ye khushi hamesha ke liye rahey.
Purvi pressed his hand and smiled: acha hua aap ne pehle se muje bataya hua tha is competition ke barey mein…or dekhein to kitney sayog ki baat hai muje us din Acp sir ne chutti bhi de di… nahi to bechari ka dil toot jata…
Rajat smiled and said: or phir us raat.
Rajat was in his room and talking with Purvi and Soniya was in her room drawing something. After talking to Purvi he started reading a book. After some time Soniya came and sit beside him and put her head on his shoulder. He closed the book and kissed her head.
After some time she said: papa…
Rajat while ruffling her hairs: hmm…
Soniya : muje kuch chahiye..
Rajat smiled and said:kia chahiye meri beti ko…batao papa aap ko kal hi la kar dein ge.
Soniya: Purvi aunty…
Rajat surprised: Purvi aunty….acha me un se kahun ga ke kal humarey ghar aa jaaein…theek hai…
Soniya separated from him and shook her head in no and said: hum kal un ke ghar chalain ge…or me un se kahun gi ke wo ab se humarey ghar mein rahein…
Rajat was happy ke us ki beti ne us se khud ye demand ki…
After some time he asked: aap ko koi problem nahi hogi un ke yahan rehney se…
Soniya: nahi wo to meri friend hain na…or phir aap ki bhi to hain..to muje to acha lagey ga na…
Rajat laid her on bed and covered her with quilt and lay beside her. Then said after some time.
Rajat :per aik problem hai(she looked towards him)wo yahan per humesha ke liye nahi reh saktin…wo kia hai na abhi kuch dino mein un ke kuch relatives aaney waley hain to wo un ke sath hi rahein gi…
Soniya looked towards him sadly he said after thinking.
Rajat : aik kam ho sakta hai..jis se wo yahan humesha ke liye reh jaaein or apne relatives ke pass na jaein…
Soniya looked towards her fathe with hope and said: kia papa jaldi bataein please…
Rajat : papa or aap ki best friend Purvi aunty shadi kar lein…
Then he looked towards his daughter to find her reaction. She was looking at him shocked plus confused expressions.
Soniya: shadi… matlab wo meri step mother ban jaein gi….meri friend hain wo to…phir…
Rajat : wo tab bhi aap ki dost rahein gi…wo to aap se kitna pyar karti hain…
Soniya: per papa…
Rajat : friends to friends hotey hain chahey wo kisi bhi shakal mein hon…bolo agreed ho ke nahi..papa un se baat karein?
Soniya smilingly: g papa...hum kal un ke ghar jaein ge un se baat karney..or me na unke liye gift bhi lekar jaaun gi.
Rajat smiled and said: acha ab so jao…baki ki batein kal apni friend se ja kar karna.
Soniya closed her eyes and Rajat started ruffling her hairs and he too slept after some time with contended smile on his face.
Rajat : pata hai tumhe..me na jaane kitni raaton baad is tarha sakoon se soya tha…
Purvi : or phir aap Soniya ko lekar mere ghar aye or mujh se shadi ki baat ki.
Rajat laughed this time and said: wese shayad me duniya mein wo pehla insaan hon ga… jis ki beti ne us ka rishta manga or shadi ki baat ki…
Purvi : han…
Rajat :or phir finally humari shadi ho gai…jis per sab se zada khush Soniya hi thi…phir mere ghar mein me do do females ke beech sandwich banney laga...dono party bana leti ho or me bechara akela…
Purvi(fake anger): akele kiun…wo bhi to hai aap ki carbon copy jo sirf shakal mein hi nahi habits mein bhi aap jesa hi hai… hum dono ko pareshan kar dete hain aap dono…
Rajat : han tum dono bhi to zara si baat per humein daantney lagti ho… abhi kal ki hi baat lelo…hum cake bana rahey they..ab sahi nahi ban paya to kia hua…tum dono ne hi kharab kiya hai oven…baking kar kar ke..ab usi pe itni baatein suna din.
Purvi folded her hands and said: acha sarey kaam to aap dono ko usi waqt karne hotey hain jab hum bahir gaye hotey hain…
Purvi and Soniya went out for shopping. Soniya is going to Delhi to participate in Arts and Crafts competition so she need some dresses and other things. Rajat was at home with Vikas who was only 6 years old. He decided to bake the cake. Both father and son went towards kitchen for their "mission cake bake" when they finally took out that thing which look likes a cake it was no more than a burnt piece of wood. But in their opinion as it was their first try so it was good.. When mistresses of the house returned their eyes popped out after seeing the condition of the kitchen because before leaving the house they cleaned it after the hard work of more than one hour and now it look likes the battle field of world war three. Their culprits look at them with their innocent faces which are irresistible. Vikas was saved by his Didi but poor Senior Inspector Rajat was caught by his wife and daughter and both gave him lectures about cleanliness and all that…
Rajat : acha acha …bas me ne maan liya sari ghalti meri thi…
Purvi : acha ab baki batein kal kariye ga abhi so jaiye…kal Soniya ko le ke Delhi jana hai bohat kaam bhi hain…kahin kuch garbar na ho jaye ..wo bechari pareshan hi ho gi…
And they moved towards bed lay their and slept after some time.
Here in Soniya's room.
She is sitting on her study table and doing her routine work writing a letter to her mother.
Mumma aap ko pata hai me kal Delhi ja rahi hun… aap heran ho rahi hon gi kee me is waqt kese aap se baat kar rahi hun…Purvi aunty ne mujh se kaha ke me aap ko letter raat mein hi likh dun…kiun ke kal se to me busy ho jaaun gi..
me aap ko aaj bhi bahut miss karti hun …lekin ab mera akela pan khatam ho gaya hai… Purvi aunty bohat achi hain..wo mujh se bahut pyar karti hain…unho ne kabhi muje ye feel nahi honey diya ke me un ki beti nai hun… unho ne aap ko mere dil se nikaaley baghair mere dil mein apni jagah banai…un ke aaney se mera or papa ka relation or strong hua…unho ne meri family complete kar di….unho ne mujh se kabhi ye demand nahi ki ke me unhe maa bulaaun… unho ne mujh se kabhi aap ko cheeney ki koshish nahi ki…agar kabhi me aap ko letter likhna bhool bhi jaaun to wohi muje yaad dilaati hain…ab muje kisi bhi family ko apne bachon ke sath enjoy kartey dekh kar bura nahi lagta…ab me aik complete life jee rahi hun…jis mein papa hain….meri best friend Purvi hain…or mera ye chota cute sa bhai Vikas hai jisey me sab se zada pyar karti hun… aap ko pata hai jab ye aaney wala tha…to muje dar lag raha tha ke kahin papa mujh se door na ho jaaein… kahin Purvi aunty apni sweeto ko na bhool jaein…lekin aisa nahi hua…in dono ka pyar mere liye kabhi kam nahi hua… han bas itna zarur hua…ke Vikas ke aney ke bad se humarey ghar mein ab do parties ban gai hain male party or female party…per humesha meri or aunty ki party hi jeeti hai jese kal hua…pury do ghantey tak hum ne papa ko lecture diya…wo to acha hua me Vikas ko cartoon mein laga diya…warna wo to pareshan hi ho jata..
Acha …mumma ab me jati hun..subha bahut kaam hain… muje jana to sham mein hai…lekin kal lunch per team ko invite kiya hai to us ki preparations karney hain…bye… imiss u and love you.
She placed the letter in the book thought that she will place it in its place in morning. Then she moved to wards bed and looked lovingly at Vikas who was looking very cute while sleeping. She kissed on his forehead and lay beside him and put her one hand on him and slept after sometime with full of life smile on her face…
